So while I was in the shower today (where most of my good ideas come from which would make it seem like I only shower once a month) I came up with a cool sort of interactive music game/insightful list. The rules of this and they are very loose (not Phil Knight loose though) is to simply name the best song in your opinion of the following artists. Feel free to add some at the bottom of the list you post too. I'd love to see some of peoples answers but also maybe find songs I and you have never heard of. Here goes the list:

Also one of my favourite songs right now is Escapee by Architecture in Helsinki.  Didn't put them on the list because I've never otherwise heard of them.  I heard it on 8tracks a year or two-ish ago and I still love it, which is extremely uncommon for me, so it's safe to call it my favourite I suppose.
