Game 5: Seattle Bears vs Toronto Legion recap

A little rivalry hockey to start off the preseason as the Toronto Legion battled the fiendish Seattle Bears. Marty Fire started things off early by cleaning up a Aurelien Moreau rebound on the power play to give the Legion a 1-0 lead just before the end of the first period. The Bears would answer in the 2nd with two unanswered goals. Vinny Detroit ripped one past SEA G on a slick pass from Hulk Hogan 2 to tie it at 1-1. Just 3 minutes later Maximus Decimus Meridius have the Bears a 2-1 advantage after a defensive breakdown by the Legion. The Bears skated into the locker room with a 2-1 lead at the 2nd intermission. Early in the 3rd Jakub Brozik tied the game 2-2. The rest of the 3rd was a defensive battle between the two squads and this game was going into overtime. There were only 9 total shots in the extra frame, this one will have to be decided by the dreaded shootout. The shootout contested of a bunch of shots missing the net until Sigard Petrenko finally broke through for the Bears, winning the game with the contests only goal. The Bears would triumph 3-2 in some warmup action
