Also in a season where there are giveaways, doubles etc., it forces players who should/want to return to the VHLM, to move up to the VHL right away, resulting in a rookie with 176 TPE in the VHL not producing and wasting a season of eligibility. It removes the choice from their grasp. I would say any TPE EARNED up to 175 TPE, the player should be allowed to stay down. Things like giveaways, prediction points and anything else not really earned through work, should be calculated and applied after the 175 TPE cutoff deadline.
