Daniel Janser 2,181
Graphic courtesy of Leandrofg (Marcel's stats/Daniel's stats) The Janser brothers played two more games since our last report. Please find our games summaries here below for your reading pleasure. 2-3 The Dragons set the tone early in this nailbiter as they scored all their goals in the first twenty minutes for their 3-2 victory. After D.C.'s first two goals, the Portuguese Wonderkind Gonçalves cut the lead in half, before the Dragons reinstated their two goal lead before the first intermission. The second frame saw a lot of effort but no results and so the teams went into the third period with the same score as they went into the second. Tessier rekindled the hope for Calgary after less than seven minutes played, but it was for naught as afterwards, the Dragons shut the door. Sova (1g/1a), Lavelle (1g/1a) and Utonium (34 saves) were named the three stars of the match. Dahl (.906) showed a solid performance but was outplayed by Utonium (.944) in D.C.'s net. Calgary's powerplay was anemic (0/3) but their box play gritty (5/5). Marcel had 0g, 0a, +1, 1 hit and 1sb to his name. Daniel achieved a 0g, 1a, -2, 2 PIM (Tripping, obviously no goal scored against), 1 hit and 52.27FO% record. 3-2 (SO) In clash where the Wranglers had all the opportunities to walk away victorious, Toronto walked away with the win, mainly due to their man in net Lindbergh. Toronto started the proceedings but Tessier with a power play marker tied the game before the teams were dismissed into their respective locker rooms. The Legion then scored in power play with less than a minute played in the second frame. Our intrepid heroes' former Reapers team mate Ixazaluoh found the back of the net. In the third, it was the selfproclaimed 'team pylon' and power play specialist GoodBrandSun who equalized the score again. As the overtime did not bring any decision, the teams had to line up for the penalty shoot out, which went into 'Ronto's favour. The three stars of the night were Lindbergh (48 saves), GoodBrandSun (1g/0a)and Peace (1g/0a). Dahl's (.923) was good but was overshadowed by Lindbergh's (.960) all-star worthy display. The Wranglers' poor power play (1/9) was one of the reasons for this unnecessary loss, while the penalty killing did not cover themselves in glory either (2/3). Marcel was noted with 0g, 1a, +0 and 2sb Daniel logged 0g, 0a, 2 PIM (Roughing, lead to a goal against) and 78.95% success at the draw. The Wranglers sit at 2nd seed in the NA Conference with a 5-2-3 record and one game in hand against first placed Bears. The Jansers' score sheets read as follows: Marcel: 10gp, 0g, 3a, 3pts, +5, 0 PIM, 6 hits, 17sb Daniel: 10gp, 3g, 2a, 5pts, -5, 18 PIM, 27 hits, 4sb, 1ppg, 55.88FO% We will update our value readers with news as soon as same emerge.
