1. A big trade was announced this morning, S97 Hugh Neutron and S96 Draw Mac join the team. What are your thoughts on this trade?
That is a really big trade. Massive. Like actually season influencing and just shows that the team is on the right path!

2. With our now massive core of young players on the roster, how many more seasons will we need to reach the playoffs? Will next season be the one?

We are doing it. No questions about it!

3. What do you think Malmo now needs to add to our roster in order to feel "complete"? A top center? Another winger?

We needed Grimgor Ironhide and maybe another player on the forward side. We are right there to show that Malmo Nighthawks can do a really good job!

4. NHL playoffs are now into the second round, which of the 8 teams remaining do you believe has the best chance of moving on to the Conference Finals?

I think that Capitals are easily going to Conference Finals and quite possibly to the Stanley Cup Finals too!

5. Did you watch the NHL Draft Lottery last night? Anything that shocked you? Was your favourite team part of the lottery?

Nothing shocked me at all. Probably the most boring event that NHL does.

6. Now into the first week of May, do you have any plans for this month? Is it just the same old, same old for you?

Getting into the Election cycle's last month so it is heating up while also the End of the year tests and exams are getting in.

1. I have many thoughts on this trade, and obviously trading out of our 4th overall pick and our S100 2nd are the two key pieces we lose, but we're gaining the highest TPE player in the S97 draft class in Hugh Neutron, and a goalie that's making great strides and should be ready to backstop us when our time comes to contend.  I couldn't be more happy with the players we got back, though of course it hurts a little getting to see all the teams with their new draftees.  I love drafts and scouting is something I really enjoy about this league so-- contrary to popular belief-- I do think long and hard about trading good draft picks!

2. This season I think we make playoffs.  Even before we added two huge names in FA, I think we could have been in the mix, but now with Ironhide and Del Rocco I'd be shocked to see us miss.  And honestly, if all goes well, we could even make some noise.  Maybe this is the season we can end that pesky first round curse.  That would be a playoff win in my books.

3. I still think we need some more up and coming forward talent, particularly centers since we currently do not have one.  But I'm confident we can find one either by trade or in the deep S100 draft.  We're on track

5. I did watch the lottery and I'm not even mad that the sharks didn't get 1st OA.  This was the year to miss honestly, and if we don't get Shaeffer, we get Misa, and that would make our forward group so fun to watch.  Eklund, Celebrini, Smith, Misa...

 

6.  May is going to be a busy month for me with a lot going on personally and with family events.  Nice to be done school for the time being tho!

8. As much as I'd like to say my player has a trademark look, I feel like she's pretty low-key.  Like no crazy statement outfits, but definitely not T-shirt and jeans lol.  Gotta keep it classy!

1. Two Free Agency signings join the team: (LW) Grimgor Ironhide and (LW) Gianfranco Del Rocco. Do you believe that these two players will be enough for Malmo to make the playoffs this season?

2. Today Training Camp opens up, 10 free TPE! Is there anything in the entire world that is better than free TPE?

3. What is your favourite task to do to earn TPE? (Mine is clicking Welfare for 5 each week)

4. What is one goal for your player in S99? Score more goals? Make more hits?

5. Speaking of S99, which team(s) do you think looks to be the strongest heading into the new season?

6. Game 1 will start on May 21, a little over a week from now. What is your player doing in these last few days before rejoining the team and getting ready for the season to start?

7. Summer feels like it's finally here. My area has been getting so much beautiful sunny weather. When it's a sunny day, what is the first thing you think of doing? I definitely think of going to the beach or a pool.

8. Do you have a favourite summer drink? There was one summer when Bud Light came out with the "Bud Light Mango".... I was smashing a case of that every week.

9. If you travel or if you don't, when do you believe is the best time of the year to travel? I always try to do it in the winters if I am able.

10. Would you rather: be able to learn any language in the world, or, be able to travel to anywhere you want in the world?

What do you actually mean by "...these two players will be enough..."? We are enough to win a bloody cup, we are that strong of a duo! VHL BE READY!

Only thing sweeter are tears of my opponents running down their pink cheeks after we have dominated them!

3. What is your favourite task to do to earn TPE? (Mine is clicking Welfare for 5 each week)

To be honest, I love making a podcast with @Ahma - that man is a true legend and we have built a strong and lasting relationship through that podcast. Love him and love our podcast!

4. What is one goal for your player in S99? Score more goals? Make more hits?

Dominate the game and finally get more than 100 points. Would be nice to combine that with at least 300 hits as at the end of the day, Grimgor is a goon.

5. Speaking of S99, which team(s) do you think looks to be the strongest heading into the new season?

Malmo Nighthawks are easily number 1 by a mile. I don't think there are really teams that can combat our ability set and skils!

Grimgor is currently in Norway, climbing mountains and figuring how people in Sweden have not yet conquered these Norwegians.

1. I certainly think so; those two players come prestigious agencies, which should be a massive boon to Malmo's hopes in the EU this season.

2. Not that I can think of; I would trade my entire family for 5 uncapped TPE!

3. I always enjoy taking time away from my actual real-life work in order to do my weekly GFX PTs; I have my priorities in order!

4. I would really like to increase my point production this season. I want to be a much more offensive defenseman than I have been so far in my career.

5. Isn't it obvious? Malmo, duh.

6. I'd like to imagine that Hugh is spending some quality time with Jimmy and Judy before the season begins.
