I can’t guarantee that speeding up will get us where we need to be any sooner, but it appears we have a majority vote and I don’t see harm in it. 
 

Alex was indeed a TRACKER.

And on the seventh day, Gustav sped up the game so we could all go home. Who's ready for the big reveal?

 

First off, the crowd gets together and lynches @Advantage. As the VETERAN, he is the last remaining Town member, and having used up all his alerts a few days ago, it's respectable that he managed to hold the threat of another over all the rest in the game.

 

@Ricer13 is fine either way with seeing Advantage go down--as the EXECUTIONER, he achieved his final objective by taking out Alex in our last Day phase.

Salem is now down to three people: Ricer, @jhatty8 proudly displaying a SURVIVOR vest, and @eaglesfan036, the WEREWOLF who has only recently made waves in the community by taking out its MAYOR and MEDIUM.

 

It's (I think) Salem's first-ever three neutral win, and Ricer is all for it. Teamwork makes the dream work, even when you don't understand who you're working with.

Right. The Full Moon is out, but Eagles appears to be out of his Werewolf phase. Ricer, who won the game yesterday, is already hamming it up at the Salem Wawa. Hatty takes off his vest--there's no need for it anymore.

And that, of course, is because @jhatty8 knows he is never going to die tonight. Under the vest is a long, hook-nosed mask with dark, opaque lenses. Fun fact--back in the day, PLAGUE doctors didn't really use those things to protect their faces. Instead, that long hook nose would be filled with flowers and other things that smelled pretty, so they'd be shielded from all the smells of rot and decay they had to deal with.

 

Hatty doesn't need that either. As I'm sure you've gathered, he isn't going to die from a silly old disease any time soon.

 

 

Leaves fall from trees and crows book it over the horizon as @jhatty8 the PLAGUEBEARER turns into none other than

--PESTILENCE, HORSEMAN OF THE APOCALYPSE-- 

before the remaining residents' eyes. Across Salem, Ricer's sub spoils mid-bite.

 

 

Eagles searches for the moon, but it's now blocked out by clouds. Hatty has managed to lie low all week, and it's time for the kill that matters most.

What an ending!

 

 

I spend every game-ending post thanking everyone who showed up to play, and that absolutely holds up in this case. But, I want to specifically recognize that this game felt like absolute garbage over the first couple days and tell all of you who stuck it out to a competitive, interesting, twisty and turny ending that I really appreciate that too. It would have been easy to walk away or stop caring--but despite a weird start, you kept making it fun. That helps me enjoy the game too and I really appreciate you for it.
