I'd put him closer to hate than like for that reason. To me he's like Selanne and I like him more for not coming back to the Pens right away. Not because I hate the Pens, but because I thought it was cool that Jagr was trying to help out as many teams as possible. Him signing with the Devils after they lost Ilya was a class act. The other thing that respects the hell out of me about him is his work ethic. Even the younger guys say he out works them in the gym, in practice, midnight solo skating sessions. The dude has confirmed that he could be in the NHL at least another 2 seasons, if not more. His quality of play while not legendary any more, is still a consistent solid player and I could see him continuing to climb several of the points/goals etc all time lists. He is going to go down probably as one of the top five players longevity wise in the game and he is earning it even to this day. Hard for me not to respect that.
