1. Our GM @STZ made some BIG moves this off season bringing in some great talent. How do you think the team is looking heading into the start of the season?

 

2. With the WJC starting their playoffs and WC about to start. Do you have a player participating? And Which county do you think will take the gold medal? 

 

3. There are a couple call ups making their debut in the VHL with New York. How do you think they contribute and who do you think will have the most impact their rookie season? 

 

4. After a great run in the playoffs last season we fell short of the ultimate goal. What are your season goals as a team? And for your player? 

 

5. Have you been keeping up with the NHL playoffs? Thoughts on the games so far and Who is your pick to win? 

 

6. VHLM draft is coming up do you plan on watching? Where did your player play in the M? 

 

 

 

1. The team is exciting. We have a good mix of Rookies and Veterans. With the Salary Cap going down by 2M, the Americans are lucky to have 4 rookies entering the team on rookie contracts. Because of this we are one of a few teams that can ice a full 12 man roster, and still have almost 5 1000+ TPA players. Our rookies are earning quickly too, so they should be at a very effective build by playoff time!

 

2. Pepe is in the WJC and World Cup for USA! Hope we can get gold in both!

 

3. I think of them all, Hughes will likely be the most relied upon. He will likely start the year with Captain Callum Janser logging major minutes on the back end. Mantzz too will start on the top line alongside Richmond and Reynolds Jr, however his role will be a bit more understated. There's no doubt, every player on the team will have a role to play, and they will all have the opportunity to prove themselves!

 

4. Honestly, every season I just aim to give us a shot at the cup. I don't care much about my own player's success. I just want NY to win a cup. I really hope we can do this for Janser. It sucks because every year we lose a long time player to retirement, I feel like I've failed them. I know all these guys wanna win on NY, and they all deserve to do so. Janser has been a committed captain since he was drafted 1st Overall to New York. The boys will be rallying to have our captain a chance to hoist the Continental Cup! @Daniel Janser

 

5. I'm a diehard Leafs fan. It's been a tough series against Florida, but they have shown sparks of life. I think the two conference finals should be highly competitive. I don't know if McDavid can be denied this year. I think he brings the cup to Canada after leading Canada to Gold.

 

6. I've been following closey. I was drafted and played for Mexico City. I saw @gorlab got drafted there.. looks like @VattghernCZ has been able to make some steps in replacing the New York Trio that graduated from the team last year!

1) It's a good looking team on paper for sure, looking forward to being a part of it.

 

2) Rave is playing for Western Europe, and so I am obligated to say that Western Europe will take home the gold medal.

 

3) Mantzz is going to make some noise I think. I haven't seen much from very offensive lower TPE builds like Hughes, so we'll see how that works out, but I think both of those players will be massive pieces of NY's future.

 

4) I'm tired of losing in the playoffs. That's pretty much it. Rave's had a good career but probably no shot at the Hall of Fame. I'm always very team-oriented anyway, but yeah, I'd like to see Rave go out on top especially after so little playoff success so far for seemingly no apparent reason.

 

5) Yeah in particular the Winnipeg and Edmonton series; the Jets are my hometown team and the Oilers are just so much fun to watch with McDavid and Draisaitl. I think there's a rematch of last year's SCF, but Edmonton wins this time.

 

6) I missed it lol. I played for San Diego in the M this time around.

1. I'll tell you one thing: that goalie is an asshole.

 

2. Not this year. I'm too old. *knee creaks* Canada always has a good shot. 

 

3. I think the biggest impact will be from THAT METEOR THAT'S HEADED RIGHT AT US.

 

4. I'd just like to have a good regular season for once. Giorgiy saves it all for the playoffs. 

 

5. A bit. I picked Carolina, but the truth is I only follow closely when the Penguins are in. 

 

6. I rarely have time for livestreams. My M career was a disaster, there were three active players on the roster.
