To be fair getting first overall was literally the only way you were moving up in the draft so it’s not like you had great odds.

No idea. There’s always a risk of dropping 1 place except for the team that goes into the lottery in 4th.

They probably thought you’d finished last. Tbh, I hadn’t paid enough attention but I had thought that myself which was why I had you picking first overall in that first mock article I did. You must have climbed up the standings while I wasn’t looking haha!

I don't think that's true. If Seattle won the lottery, there'd be a draw for second. And if Seattle and Toronto get 1st and 2nd, there'd be a draw for third.

That is true. If Seattle has gotten first there would have been a draw for 2nd. If Toronto did there would have been a draw for third. So you are correct and I was clearly drunk.
