1. I feel great, our GM definitely made a statement and brought in a ton of new talent. We are primed for a big push in S68

2. I think I like our chances honestly, if we can sign Thompson 

3. Madden could have a monster breakout year

4. I think one of the Big 3 defensemen would be great to have to build around in the future, also wouldnt mind picking up Lehtinen Jr.

Our defense has definitely gotten better than last year - just have to hope some of our older forwards don't depreciate too much.

It would be much easier if GMs just picked their best players and not players who they think they need to pick in order to get them in. Once that starts happening, the system gets thrown off.

I'll answer

 

1) I'm very happy and excited. I know it's still early but at this point, most teams have played each other so it could be a good sign

2) 1st in GA. We've always allowed a shit ton of goals, so it's nice to be the best defensive team

3) I can see a deep playoff run. I won't call us cup favorites yet, but we have a nice shot

4) It fuckin sucks

5) I don't like DC. Prague is cool, but DC Dragons is gross

6) I like it, keep the main focus that the previous logos have and it models the Dynamo Riga logo IRL

7) Trades

8. I'd say Warren is a bit behind, but Glade is above what i expected

9) It sucks that that's what we had to do, but we filled a need so thats good

1. We're off to a pretty good start, this is a tough division, just got to keep working

2.  We have good players so neither really surprises me

3.  We're contenders.  You never know how the playoffs can go, but we certainly can be up there 

4.  I wasn't around for the old divisions, but every game is tough

5. They're getting there, expansion teams don't have it easy, but these two have some potential

Nope, lots of hockey left

I think we're fine.  There are lots of good goalies in this league and we have good offensive talent.  Also we're doing well defensively.  If we had 30 more goals scored and 30 moire goals allowed we would still be in the same position.

It all depends on the direction management wants to take.  I think we can still make the playoffs.

We all knew this conference was going to be difficult.  It's neither really.

Too short.  It would be nice to have 10 years, that way newer players had 2+ years to develop to catch up to some of the older guys.

I would like to see more player separation.  Goalies now are all pretty much the same build, same with forwards.

Ottawa

Seattle is having a pretty good year

Before the draft all I heard was how New York was an improving team, but they still don't seem any better

Not really

I don't know about overperformance, but Finn has been rock solid this year

2. I’ve been working on the other side of the puck this offseason, so I could focus more on continuing my offense during the season. I knew I’d need to up my defensive ability to not be a liability in the VHL.

 

3. This is Wang’s first season up although he was under contract last season.

 

4. I set expectations for myself based on last year, I never expected a 95 point season.

8. I aim to be a key player in the rebuild and hopefully I’ll earn my first line minutes through my players actual ability rather than our teams lack of depth.

1) How has your off season been?  It's has been super busy training and family time.

2) What training did you work on this off season? I did a lot on ice drills and lifting weights and conditioning.

3) How long have you been with HC Davos? I just got traded to the team from Vancouver.

4) Did you perform to your expectations last season? Yes I had a very good year and had a pretty decent playoff run.

5) Is this your first year in the VHL? This is my first year in the bigs!

6)What is your predictions for our upcoming season? I just hope to produce and play shut down defense.

7) What predictions do you have for yourself in this upcoming season? I predict I will score 20 goals and get 25 assists.

8 What role do you see yourself playing on this team? I just want to contribute and be a durable player.

1. I feel like we shouldn't be winning the games we are, our two wins are against top tier teams. These are confusing times.

1) What are you feelings about the start of the season?  Its been a rough start so far. It was expected with a re build year.

2) Do you think we will finish above .500 this season? I would hope so but most likely we wont do to the rebuild.

It is a hot mess. I was playing for both VHL and Vhlm at the same time. Now I'm in VHL but not playing playing at all. I'm a scratch. So not good.

We can do it yes. Not a perfect start by the team, but we can be better. Stay positive!

Houston Bulls.

Remarkable and amazing, for all the wrong reasons.

The fact that I've played in VHLM and VHL at the same time.

I've played 14 games, but been a scratch in quite a few games. Only this season.

No

I'm not active enough to become a GM. But if I can stop a relocation or rebranding of Davos, I will gladly step in as GM.

We can... Improve everything.

I have relatively small amount of tpe, so every weekly update helps

All of them, except the Boston Bruins whole organization, Tom Wilsons, Lucics and Marchands kind of rats and despicable players.

I played for Yukon in the VHLM.

2) How are you feeling about your season so far?

Well it's been a grueling season at the bottom of the standings. So that speaks for itself!

3) What's is the best individual stat you have this year? 

I am 2nd on the team with 78 hits.

4) How long have you been in the VHL?

This is my rookie year in the VHL.

5) Do you think you will ever change positions in the VHL? 

Probably not, I like defense.

6) Are you interested in being a GM someday? 

Not really I like being a player and don't have that kind of time.

7) What can we do to improve on our season?

We just have keep building our TPE so we can start to compete more efficiently.

Probably within the next 2 seasons.

I will just keep boosting my TPE and try to become a better all around defenseman.

1. Halifax is "traditionally" my home but I played my last season in Mississauga, and have to say that's likely my favorite team to have ever played on.

 

2. Not bad, I'm holding my own among the rookies and producing well for the club, I'd like to do better but who doesn't?

 

3. My production, I've impacted 32% of all goals scored with the club this season, I'm pretty proud of that.

 

4. Rookie season, but I've been around the forum for *technically* a year.

 

5. Likely not with a player, but recreates definitely.

 

6. Yes, I'm AGMing in New York right now and have been applying to every GM opportunity made available to me.

I'm in awe of Steven Stamkos's hand eye.  There's a lot of hockey players I am a fan of.  It's a crazy sport that you can't grasp the talent level by watching.  Even some 4th liner is usually a lot more talented than a first liner over seas.

Mental preparation for winning.

Davos traded some assets, that did yeah.

Wait. Rebuild is a process. Aggressive trading and FA signings when the time comes.

Infinite period of time. I've always played and been a part of Davos in my heart.

Leadership, work rate, checking and team play.
