Bayley 419
1. How excited are you to have Dragomir on the roster? I am very excited to have him on the roster, we need a scorer, this is what this guy is. I mean, this puts us in a great spot for the next season. 2. What about Glade? We need defense, I am being left to dry out there some games, we needed to bring in more defense, that is what this is. I have to be excited. 3. With the new core added to the Dynamo, what are your hopes for the season? We are going for the Cup. There are other teams that have really loaded up like we have, so I think that it's going to be tough, but we are getting to the playoffs, we will win the Cup. 4. Who will be the leading point scorer of the HC Davos Dynamo for S66? Veran Dragomir will be the leading point scorer in this next season. 5. Davos just traded down in the draft, what position do you think they'll draft? I would think goaltender or defense. I think our offense is pretty good, I am not really sure, but I'd have to guess. 6. Peace or Dahlberg? For reference sake, at sixty six games, Peace had 94 points and Dahlberg had 103 before being put on the second line. By game seventy two, Peace had 103 and Dahlberg had 106. Not really, I just like to go fishing. 4. I'd expect nothing less than first or second place on the standings, and a deep playoff run with our new identity. 5. Bayley 419
1) Davos has started the season as a .500 team going 6-6-0 in the first 12 games. What do you think of Davos’ beginning of the season? We have a lot of new players, so we just need to find each other. I think it comes down to just getting used to where each other are going to be. We are going to turn this around, we are going to be great. 2) Does the start of the season change your expectations for Davos this year? Absolutely not, my thoughts and expectations will not change at all. I think we can still get to where we need to be. I need to be better and I will be better. 3) Rylan Peace is leading the team with 8 goals and 14 points. How important is his continued strong performances to the overall success of the team? Rylan has been nothing but fantastic for the squad. I mean, he did it last year as well. This should not be surprise. Rylan is an incredible player with so much skill. He should be where he is, and he sure is. 4) How do you feel about your personal performance up to this point in the season? I need to be better, that's just what it is. I need to be much better. I should be better, I need to be. 5) Looking around the rest of the league, expansion team Malmo is currently in first place. Do you think they’ll be able to maintain their top of the league standing? How come? Credit to them, they are doing fantastic. I mean, this was definitely unexpected, so nothing but props to them. They are gelling and playing well. Look at Vegas in the NHL, maybe they are that story? 6) Last week was Mother’s Day. What did you do for your mom? We did breakfast and went out for apple picking. It is something we always did when I was younger, so she would love it.

Bayley 419
1) After another week of similar results, Davos still sits around .500. What are your thoughts on this? Am I supposed to be happy? I think we are on the up, but it's figuring everything out. I wish we had figured it all out by now, we could be soaring. We are only 2 points back of 3rd. 2) Veran Dragomir has become the clear scoring leader on the team with 19 goals and 30 points. What has his addition meant to this team? What can you say? He has been absolutely amazing. He is what this team needed on offense. He is a surefire player with a ton of skills and talent. We needed a guy who can help Peace and put the puck in the net. 3) Davos took a bold strategy by playing their backup goalie games early in the season. Do you think this was a good decision? I want to be in the net every game of the season, but what can I do? 4 ) Which team do you hate to play against? All of them, how can I like anyone else on my team? 5) Have you developed any rivalries against opposing players? If so, who? If not, how come? Brick Wahl and I have a friendly competition against each other. 6) Now that Game of Thrones is over, what are you going to watch on TV? Bobs Burgers, a lot of Bob's Burgers. Honestly I’m frustrated, I know we can be better, and we’re slowly working through the issues and getting some ground beneath our feet. 2. Maybe we try Dahlberg - Peace - Svoboda again? Worked magic last season, maybe it’ll work magic again this season. 3. No I don’t, we’ve got the talent we just need to find the right chemistry and synergy combinations. 4. Love playing alongside Dragomir, it’s been an absolute pleasure and I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s the sole Davos player with triple digit numbers as the season ends. 5. As the one who promoted his promotion, I fully support it, and while I respect my Captains talent I believe ‘Jenson is the better defender now. 6. Absolutely. Other teams are going to get stung by it, hopefully we take advantage of that later on.

Why do you think Davos is able to control possession of the puck as well as they are? 3) One spot of statistical weakness for Davos is % of face-off wins. They are near the bottom of the league. What do you think the team should do to perform better in this category? 4) Elias Dahlberg is currently tied with Dragomir for 3rd place in total points on the team. How would you rate Dahlberg’s play this season? 5) Internal statistical tracking shows defenseman Alvaro Jokinen leads the team in total takeaways. What are your thoughts on this? This is where we should have been, I am not surprised. We are getting our legs under us a little bit, I am happy. 2) Davos is leading the VHL in multiple possession categories including puck control time in the offensive zone. Why do you think Davos is able to control possession of the puck as well as they are? I am usually shutting my eyes on the other side of the ice, so I really do not watch. 3) One spot of statistical weakness for Davos is % of face-off wins. They are near the bottom of the league. What do you think the team should do to perform better in this category? We need to win more faceoffs, I guess. 4) Elias Dahlberg is currently tied with Dragomir for 3rd place in total points on the team. How would you rate Dahlberg’s play this season? I would say he has been really great the past two seasons. I mean, I love watching him play a bit, so I would not complain at all if he had more points. 5) Internal statistical tracking shows defenseman Alvaro Jokinen leads the team in total takeaways. How important has Jokinen’s performance been to Davos this year? Nerds. Nah, he's been great. He's been great in front of me. I think I owe him multiple cheeseburgers by this point. 6) The top 3 teams in the overall standings are from the European Conference. Is the European Conference better than the North American conference? The first part of that question gives you the answer.

What are your thoughts on this? But it shows that the underlying stats were there, but the results just weren't backing it up. We've sort of not really but sort of kept it going after that stretch. Still slightly underperforming for the season as a whole, but overall, not too bad. On 5/28/2019 at 4:11 PM, DMaximus said: 2) Davos is leading the VHL in multiple possession categories including puck control time in the offensive zone. Why do you think Davos is able to control possession of the puck as well as they are? We have very good offensive players at both forward and defense, so we should be near the top in this category. This is one of the prime reasons that I think we'll finish out the season stronger than we started. On 5/28/2019 at 4:11 PM, DMaximus said: 3) One spot of statistical weakness for Davos is % of face-off wins. They are near the bottom of the league. What do you think the team should do to perform better in this category? Get better centers with faceoffs, but honestly, I don't think this is a huge deal. Yes, as far as min-maxing win %, ideally we'd be better, but if there was somewhere on the team I had to "choose" to be bad at, faceoffs would be near the top of the list. On 5/28/2019 at 4:11 PM, DMaximus said: 5) Internal statistical tracking shows defenseman Alvaro Jokinen leads the team in total takeaways. How important has Jokinen’s performance been to Davos this year? Yes, Jokinen has been very important and is a prime example of a modern day defensive defenseman. He's still able to put up respectable point totals while being a stalwart on D. Davos would be worse off without him in the line up. On 5/28/2019 at 4:11 PM, DMaximus said: 6) The top 3 teams in the overall standings are from the European Conference. Is the European Conference better than the North American conference? Yes, hands down. 1,2,3 > 4,5,6. It'd be one thing if it was like 2,3,4>1,5,6, but it's hard to say anything else with a clean sweep of the top 3 spots in the league. On 5/28/2019 at 4:11 PM, DMaximus said: 9) If the playoffs were to start today, Davos would play New York in the first round. Is that a matchup you like? This most likely changed since the question was asked, but now we'd play Riga in the 1st. Would be a tough match up that I could see going 7 games and a coinflip. Every series in the European Conference will be a good one this year.
Velevra 311
1) Davos is experiencing a good run of games, going 7-2-1 in the last 10 and reaching 3rd place in the standings. What are your thoughts on this? I unfortunately don't see this lasting. Davos has struggled to have good chemistry all season long. 2) Davos is leading the VHL in multiple possession categories including puck control time in the offensive zone. Why do you think Davos is able to control possession of the puck as well as they are? They have players with high SK and PH in the sim which probably helps with this. 3) One spot of statistical weakness for Davos is % of face-off wins. They are near the bottom of the league. What do you think the team should do to perform better in this category? The Centers should probably invest more points into FO and ST if they want better FO performance. 4) Elias Dahlberg is currently tied with Dragomir for 3rd place in total points on the team. How would you rate Dahlberg’s play this season? He is good but not as good as Dragomir. Sorry Nyko. 6) The top 3 teams in the overall standings are from the European Conference. Is the European Conference better than the North American conference? Yes the top 3 teams in EU are better overall than the top 3 teams in NA. I expect HEL or RIG to be cup favourites. 7) Do you pay attention to the VHLM? If so, what are your thoughts on the season so far? If not, why not? Not really I generally just focus on my own player and team due to time constraints. Edited June 2, 2019 by Velevra
Kylrad 178
1) Davos is experiencing a good run of games, going 7-2-1 in the last 10 and reaching 3rd place in the standings. What are your thoughts on this? Maybe Davos is finally getting it together and playing at the level expected of them, or they're just getting lucky 2) Davos is leading the VHL in multiple possession categories including puck control time in the offensive zone. Why do you think Davos is able to control possession of the puck as well as they are? Davos has lot's of fast skilled talented players so it's not surprise they have great possession stats. 3) One spot of statistical weakness for Davos is % of face-off wins. They are near the bottom of the league. What do you think the team should do to perform better in this category? Cheat on the face offs and don't get caught 4) Elias Dahlberg is currently tied with Dragomir for 3rd place in total points on the team. How would you rate Dahlberg’s play this season? Pretty awful honestly I expected him to be carrying the whole team and lead the league in points, clearly he's content just getting carried by superior players like Dragomir and leeching off them 6) The top 3 teams in the overall standings are from the European Conference. Is the European Conference better than the North American conference? Ya I think all the teams at the top of the EU are probably better than the top of NA 7) Do you pay attention to the VHLM? If so, what are your thoughts on the season so far? If not, why not? I don't as I usually only pay attention to the league I'm in unless i'm a gm or scouting
