I decided that it was time to start a brand new Presser thread.

 

In other news, it looks like we're in for a rough week in Saskatchewan. This isn't even as bad as my area's forecast, we are supposed to get 50 cm. That is approximately 20 inches.

1. With golf out of the question due to the weather, how have you been spending the offseason?

 

- I've been spending my offseason mainly exploring Saskatoon. Since I came in mid season it's nice to be able to explore the museums and different hiking trails in the area.

 

2. 8th seeded Miami was able to defy the odds and take home the Founder's Cup. What do you think was their key to success?

 

- I think it was a case of having the perfect pieces being able to compete during the playoffs. The playoffs always bring out the best players and it was a case of Miami being able to have their players show up more consistently than anyone else.

 

3. Are you excited for the VHLM draft? Who do you think goes first overall?

 

- I would say I'm more nervous than excited to be honest, there are a lot of great guys in this year's draft. So I don't think I'm going to pick one over the other. 

 

4. Who will you be cheering for in the offseason's World Cup?

 

- I have to cheer for my homeland Canada!

 

5. What video games have you been playing recently?

 

- A lot of League of Legends with some of my buddies from back home. Mostly liking the new champ Lillia and trying to play some 

 

6. Who do you think wins in a fight, Steve Eso or Alex Zouzouambe?

 

- Zouzouambe for sure, that guy is an animal.

1. Drinking, mostly. Hey, turns out it's not that much different to how I spend the regular season. 

 

2. I didn't follow it at all, but I'm going to assume that they scored more goals than the other team. 

 

3. No idea. Hopefully we pick up some studs though. 

 

4. Hungary. Is there a Team Hungary? Hungary. 

 

5. Wish I had time for video games these days. I've been wanting to jam some Pathfinder: Kingmaker, Pillars of Eternity 2, or maybe even Baldur's Gate 3 (even though I bet I won't like it) but real life is eating up all of my time. 

 

6. I'm a lover, not a fighter. So, unless Zouzou is taking a dive, my money's on him.

2. I think Miami has a super active LR, they probably push each other to get better and better every week.

I think we did amazing, we were able to bring some of our younger guys back and also add some talented players to our core group. We should be able to make a good run next season.

I'm going to  be honest, no. I'm going to be in the gym.

2) Massive perseverance and teamwork, along with playing each game like it could be their last.

1. I am, but we haven't gotten to my pick yet. Honestly, since I don't know any of the players or teams very well, I will probably look at some of the other groups and just copy them.

2. Monkey puppet meme. My TPE earning slowed down a bit in the offseason (and it's PBE off-season as well, so I haven't been able to get affiliate PT points either).

3. First overall, and by such a large margin that the team is promoted to the VHL.

4. Not that I don't have confidence in my own player, but I think that his immediate supporting cast might be a bit weaker this season. So while the team overall is improving, his line might not generate 95% of the scoring again.

5. Cold, wet, and windy. Of course that describes about 300 days out of the year here.

6. Well I play recreational ice hockey, as well as softball and curling. I think the life of a baseball player looks kind of fun, but I guess I gotta go with hockey. Curling or darts or for the drinking aspect though.

Absolutely, the guy is a beauty. Have you seen him play? He's only going to get better.

A ton of high winds here, only had 1 day of snow so far. So hopefully we don't get any of that stuff until december.

If not for concussions I would be in the CFL. So I'd have to say football
