I was controlled by the Witch last night. I also got a "your night ability failed because your target was in jail."

@VHL GM Decided to get this up nice and early while I did the live sim. Playoffs start on Monday so for the four wildcard teams, plenty of time to get your lines. After more gracious words from the legend @BOOM we will end the season honoring his best player. (Boom who was your best player? Tordahl? Probably right? You've had so many, and honestly like so many have been great. Boomchenko is way past these kids times but man that feels like a different god damn life ago. A whole different society ago. Second, last, day, of, the, season, comma! (Exlcamanation point, fuck spelling, I don't need it where I'm going!)

1. Things haven't been going too well lately.  Is it time to play spoiler for other teams?

Basically at that level yeah playoffs will take a small miracle at this point.

2.  General Zod and Kevin King were traded for Kyle Glass and prospect wingers.  Was this a smart move by management to get assets for retiring players?

 I think so yeah. We were a fringe team either way, if the play isn't available to make the splash stock up for a better season.

3.  Tater Tot has been getting lit up.  Is it our strategy, talent level, or does the poor guy need a break??

Trading the top defensive D on the club is likely a reason too. It's a tough league for goalies. 

4.  Maybe talk about the draft?  What position do you think we need to address the most in this upcoming draft?

We need a good defensive forward as I feel like we got a lot of scoring weapons, some more Playmakers as well. 

5.  Ice Cream or Frozen Yogurt???

Would depend on the mood but the adult in me is leaning Frozen Yogurt even though it's really not "good for you". 

6.  Yeah there's an annoying heat wave here in Canada.  What's your favorite(s) cool drink or treat to stay cool?

Hey all. Given we didn't post a formal schedule this season I figured I should update everyone. The playoffs are almost here, hooray!

The VHL regular season will be wrapping up on Saturday with the VHLM finishing up its remaining games tomorrow. Thus the official start date for the VHL and VHLM playoffs will be Monday August 30th, with indexes up the day before as per usual. With that I say to you all...be well.

Livesims @rory thinks he can just "ignore" them but they aren't to be ignored. Tag rory anywhere and everywhere and you won't be banned. Unless it becomes harassment...oh no the slope...it's so...slippery...don't tag rory. I'm sorry!

*stretches* It's Monday it's raining it's dark outside. I got sims though so there is that much going on. Sims! Live!

1.  London is still in the race for at least a wild card playoff spot.  We have games in hand to boot.  What's been the key to keeping things going?
I don't think it's been one thing in particular, sometimes we find a way to win a close game sometimes we find a way to turn the offense on. We've also snuck points out of a few losses. It'll be tough for us to get in but not impossible. 

2.  Theme week is here!  So what trophies have you had your heart set on but haven't gotten yet?
LOL! Awards and me? Top GM is the only one I've ever really won, oh wait sorry my goalie ages ago won a couple things for a hot minute. Any awards for a Devise player on an individual level is like hell freezing over. 

3.  Should London continue focusing on playing a balanced game?  Or should we switch things up to play more offensive of defensive?
I think we just need to roll with it. There isn't much more we can do in this situation but ride out the last games and hope for the best. 

4.  If your player could star in a movie shot in London, what genre movie would your player star in?
Thriller, sure why not. 

5.  If you could have an extra body part, appendage or organ, what would it be and why?
What an odd question, umm how about an extra brain because if your going to look weird anyway maybe you'll get some serious benefit from it. 

6.  If superhero player superpowers were allowed in the VHL, which one would your player have?
Super discipline, maybe then the damn referee's would not give me undeserving penalty minutes!
