I watched it about a week ago. It was quite good, but best movie ever? Fucking kids today and their hyperbole. Seriously, every week something new is the best ever, this is the favorite of all time blah blah. Having a serious discussion about the merits of something with best ever or ratings in today's day an age is like a lost art. Internet culture and meta critic/rotten tomatoes society ruining film discussion tbh.

Tough to say Sterling. Romanes said he sped across the entire land map and it took him about an hour. But I feel it's pretty big. I just like the variety/freedom of it, and the ability to kind of go and do what I want when I want. Mechanically I think it's pretty good, and as a typical Ubisoft game there is tons to do, even if some of it is kind of filler. But I'd say the map feels/seems about as big if not bigger than typical sandbox games. I'd put on par with something like Skyrim.

This is probably the most epic Sterling thread in recent memory. Seriously, the scoreboard right now is like Sterling 10 and everyone else 0. Granted he is the only one playing the game, but still...

Quebec lost! I wanna rock! Yeah! Quebec fucking lost! Yeah! Or something. 3 Series thus far wrapped in 5 games. Both Cologne/Helsinki and Quebec/NY surprised me though. Figured both would go at least 6. Quebec has some good young players, bullshitting aside they will be a good team down the road.

The Cologne Express were packing up their things after another disappointing playoff exit, this season against the Helsinki Titans. Interviews caught up with Logan Laich to get his thoughts on how the Express can focus going forward, and make a difference. "You know I think a lot of people really underestimate how young we actually are. We missed the playoffs, and drafted both Mason Richardson and Thomas O'Malley only 2 short seasons ago. It's crazy to think of that. Sure, back to back playoff losses, in pretty dominating fashion is disappointing. But I think a lot of media and fans put hype in how great O'Malley and Richardson have been at an early age, and how great we all know they will be to alter the expectations of this team." While the Express have shown flashes during the regular season of being a very talented team, one could argue that they certainly haven't reached elite status yet. Thus the early playoff exits still sting, they aren't that far out of line with the expectations of a team who quickly exited rebuild after acquiring Logan Laich and then drafting superstar players in O'Malley and Richardson. "Ultimately I think the next two seasons are going to very interesting for us. While I felt we had the capacity to probably do a little more these past two seasons, I wouldn't really say we underachieved. We proved that we have what it takes to be a fantastic team. The mantra we had coming into Season 40 was that we didn't need to put too much pressure on ourselves. But now we all kinda collectively feel that window is over. Season 42, Season 43, we are coming up on the years where I think we have some core of players here who are really going to transform into elite. Which means that exits like this are no longer going to be acceptable. I think next season for us it's really put up or shut up time."

Bah you simmed before I got home to do lines. Just walked in the door a bit ago. Don't know how much of a difference it would of made but I anticipated a late night Jardy sim. Good series Helsinki, we'll have to rebound and really come at the playoffs next season.

Likewise I'll be stepping down from this role at the end of the season/this set here. I've already put in a bunch of work to this set so I'll see it through to the end, which should be by the time off season/Super Cup starts if all goes according to plan. Your duties here will be working creatively with our very talented graphics team on the PC Crew. You'll be coming up with new templates ideas and new set ideas, and working with them to find a template you are happy with every season for every new set. You then need to set deadlines and hand out assignments for who will do what every set. From there you will need to type up the back of card text and any other pertinent details, generally not more than 4K words usually for that stuff. Once the cards are done, updating the player pages so the PC's are in them is also on you. But that is it. There is no pay for this position. So I'm looking for an ideal candidate willing to put some of their free time into this role to take over for me here next season. Thanks for the interest.

After a good 60 weeks of doing this role I will be stepping down at the end of the season. I'm looking for someone to replace me in season 42 and beyond. Duties are relatively simple. You post 2-3 updates per week on the VHL Facebook page. Updates can be the comings and goings of the league, standings/interesting playoff races. It is important to try and maintain a professional nature to you all your posts as well. This also loosely affiliates you with the recruitment crew so guiding new members along if they happen to PM or IM you is technically a responsibility as well. Pay is 1 TPE per week. If he moves it'll be via trade for the entire rest of his career, as his contract is inked up until the end of it. I won't confirm or deny any reports of movement here, but I will say that Homesick has been a great member throughout all the ups and downs in Cologne.

Always sad to see a good member go. Had a blast with you in Quebec and I completely understand your point of view. Appreciate you approaching me (and Romanes/the Team) with this news before making it official. Good luck with the rest of life sir, hopefully one of these days you get the time/motivation because the VHL would love to have you back.

Jardy has appeared ADV. So either a file will get updated for us to sim it or he will go and post a quadruple sim or whatever the hell we need to catch up on.

Like Romanes I am also enjoying The Crew. The driving feels just fine, and the gigantic open world nature of it really appeals to me. The car customization stuff is also interesting and deep enough that I feel like I can put my own personal touch on it. I don't love all the mission designs, and the story is generic hot garbage thus far but I really do enjoy being able to just drive around in that open world. I think I've used fast travel maybe once, to quickly check out a tuner in another major city, normally I just drive to whatever objectives/stuff I'm doing.

Alcohol poisoning is a form of assassination. Super easy to execute undetected when your target is a drunk too.
