I've seen some pretty vile tweets from Liverpool fans that suggest yes they do have the same sense. Sadly have to agree re Karius. Question is will Klopp cut his losses now or give him a second chance and watch the sad decline over the course of next season. Probably the latter, he seems like a sympathetic type. -

Mandzukic bicycle kick last final, Ronaldo bicycle kick in quarter final, and finally Bale as a game-winner to match Zidane. Scenes. -

I can only see 2 active first gens on Las Vegas? One of which is a S62 draftee so too early to tell. Not a shot against you obviously, I think other teams are the same or worse, just saying if that is considered a success in the VHLM then the VHLM is not a success.

But LeBron's exploits this playoffs have been hard to miss on the various mediums which I frequent. I have learned that he has crushed Raptors' hopes for many a season now and the Cavs are in the verge of a fourth straight final and a four primarily because of him? My question to the more knowledgeable members out there is - is this normal in the NBA or is this man some demigod?
-
I don't think anyone has anything against it but its a logistical necessity given our member base. I don't think its perfectly healthy. How many actives aren't recreates?

The slog that is the VHL season has allegedly entered the playoffs, although I wouldn't have known that if I didn't stumble into the VHLM games forum the other day. I seem to recall getting a lot more enjoyment from the regular season in the past but I'll remain optimistic and chalk it up to a personal issue and probably not being sufficiently involved with the proper VHL. Which does beg the question though, what is the point of the VHLM though? It's not fun, it's never been fun and in this weird late autumn era of the VHL it's just a liability. Before I left last there were suggestions that we could somehow get rid of the VHLM entirely but those clearly never came to fruition. I still feel like that should be considered, especially with all this recent hype around changing the 8-season career rule. Maybe get rid of drafts too, although that be my extreme European influences coming through now. But imagine, you just sign a VHL team when you join and maybe you don't join the VHL straight away but you join a pseudo-development league (with a lot of CPUs) and wait until you are deemed ready for the VHL. And you get an instant VHL connection and locker room. Or maybe force all teams to use 4 lines meaning team HAVE TO use VHLMers and then a newly created player as a rookie won't be outclassed by existing players since they'll be competing against 3rd and 4th liners. Or something. I'm not convinced myself it was just verbal diarrhoea. On the bright side, I was watching YouTube videos while writing this and saw this comment and it amused me. 1. I got a dig bick 2. You that read wrong 3. You read that wrong too 4. You checked 5. You smiled 7. Your are wondering why are you're still this reading this 8. You saw that mistake...right?(on 7) 10. But did you see I skipped 6? 10. You checked 11. And saw you that I doubled 10 and skipped 9 12. I said saw you, not you saw 13. I also skipped 2 14. You got tricked 15. I'm just wasting your time

2. My memory's a bit hazy in terms of trading timelines but I am fairly confident Chershenko got traded before Sullivan. That said, yes and no. I don't think there was anything else that could have been done to win any more cups - the missed opportunity was in the sim - we really should have won in S31 and there were 3 more seasons after that when with a bit of luck, Calgary would have won. Another championships and that looks much better in hindsight. Can't say I have any regrets though, it was great fun. 3. Oof you've put me on the spot here. Let me go into the all-time GMs thread and name my top 5.... Scott Boulet, Higgins, Streetlight, you, and an early incarnation of Dustin Funk. I'd have you all though if I had an attention span longer than 3 seasons. 4. As you can hear in my latest podcast - shameless plug: https://vhlforum.com/topic/49478-claimed-the-pod-cast-show-episode-5/ Seattle and Riga are the 2 I have never played for (and Cologne, RIP). So I'm well traveled but also want to finish the tour now and avoid some of my own most regular destinations, namely New York, Calgary, and Toronto. 5. I guess I answered that in the previous post with S17-S19 Calgary. That said, I've at most had 1-2 seasons of teams I didn't enjoy being on so I consider myself quite lucky in that regard. 1. Of course, the VHLM is a complete lottery as far as I'm concerned. I would be equally optimistic whether we were 1st or 5th, and also equally pessimistic. That said, I see the VHLM as a development league first and foremost and therefore has anyone succeeded in that regard? I'm not sure. 2. I'm not hugely bothered as I never get a particularly competitive spirit in the VHLM. Probably Saskatoon for having the best new members.

yeah and I'm not sure how much Costa leaving was down to Costa himself. The thing with Hazard is he is our entire attack and without him the entire rest of the top 6 is undeniably better by this point (even Arsenal now). Chelsea haven't spent ridiculous amounts for about 5 years so he wouldn't be adequately replaced and that would be that. Fortunately I don't think he'll ever push for a move so I'm fairly calm. It's City's league to lose for a while anyway.
