^ exactly that I don't know if one of the two has been designated for the runners-up but if so it is literally just a losers award. If not, what logic is there to it at all? Also historically one was NA and EU, now anyone appears to be able to win either one so what's the meaning? Fine with people predicting who the finalists are, and in fact fine with there being some recognition for the runners-up - even if it just a mention on the Continental Cup. But awards for 'finalist 1 and 2' should go.

You can still award prediction points for them, just get rid of the 'award'.

I will continue to maintain that these awards are now dumb, outdated and need to be retired.

The rules don't say anything about someone who we know will never post again.

Don't actually care much for PP2 being murdered, while I did play a key role in setting out how it could work and shutting down some sensible counter-arguments, I can admit it was a better idea in theory. The update scale I'm not a huge fan of but certainly necessary with so much TPE about. Now whether there should be so much TPE about is another question, but I suppose the old system got stale. Still think reviewers are needed - they at least show that someone read/listened and often helped developed GFX/writing skills. Sevilla have changed considerably since their last Europa League win (2016), let alone the 2014 one, so I don't think those achievements are hugely relevant for today's team. Yeah it does feel like Roma are there to make up the numbers (I recall a similar run by Schalke some years back), but in terms of stopping Real, I'm not convinced this year's Barca would be able to do that (in the CL, they did spank them in the league). Still fancy Bayern, can't underestimate the Jupp. But absolutely in agreement with you, very refreshing storylines. I'm still a bit pumped after watching the end of the Roma game.

Think it's a toss-up between them and Sevilla tbh. Liverpool v Roma needed now. Salah derby.

1. I mean you never really did before either, you just had to build smartly and get some sim luck. I don't really know what's developed in my absence, and if that's even true. I suspect if it is then that's because there are less 1,000 TPE players these days? I suspect that's not the case though given TPE inflation. 2. They're unique enough for me <3 4. I've never player hockey in real life, in fact I haven't even watched it for about 7 years now. So obviously Crosby. 5. I am not a gamer at all, sorry to disappoint again. Historical thing. Had a big rivalry when I was on New York with my first player (we're talking S15), and on Toronto with my second. Also have never played for the Bears so if I have to pick one to hate it's Seattle (can't hate Riga, it's my actual birthplace). Also really disliked the S43 championship team because they did not deserve to win and that was my last real memory of the Bears as they weren't really relevant between then and the time I left. My opinion can change this time around for sure.
