Tonight will see the new Yukon Rush general manager Jonathan Killeen take to the podium and announce the first two players to be taken in the VHLM Dispersal Draft. This season is billed as one of the deepest draft classes in years and Killeen knows exactly who he's planning on taking; but not the order he will be taking them. "I've known since day one who I was picking up with my first two picks. They're two franchise players in two different positions who are going to do lead the transformation of Yukon back into a real contender. I've not decided which of them I'm going to be taking off the board first."
Yukon hold barely any assists as of present besides sim league legend Chris Fekete. Many GM's have sent trade offers to Killeen for Fekete, including a rumoured trade offer of the 3rd overall pick for him from Saskatoon GM Ahma. It's believed Killeen will look to pick to strengthen all positions in Yukon, including a new face in net.
