DYNAMO OFF TO HOT START
DAVOS, SWITZERLAND -- HC Davos is off to a good start this season, going 6-2-1 in their first nine games. They are led thus far by a stellar defense and a tremendous effort in net, with second-year goaltender Callum Sinclair posting a 94.6 SV% (1st in the VHL). The Dynamo also allow the fewest shots against with only 21.67 per game and lowest GAA with only 1.11.
Leading the offense is Devin Sundberg with 4 goals and 7 assists. While the Dynamo offense is yet to get fully going, coach O'Reilly is encouraged by his team's start.
"I think the boys have been tremendous thus far," he said after a 3-0 win over Stockholm, "We're really proud of the way things have started this year. I think Richardson has set the tone for us on the defensive side and Sinclair has been unbelievable. It's a great sign of things to come here in Davos."
Although the team is off to a great start, they are expecting the offense to pick up a bit when Kurtis Hunter and Freedom McJustice hit full stride.
