  6. Jarome Iginla? Who is this? Is this that all-star player for the Colorado Avalanche? No. This is Jarome Iginla, the up and coming superstar for the Helsinki Titans! Jarome Iginla hasn't become a household name in the Victory hockey League yet, but he is starting to turn heads in the VHLM with his impressive play last season. Iginla started off the season quite slow with the Saskatoon Wild, only managing 4 points in his first 32 games while he was ill, however, with his intensive training from his world class coach Jordin FourFour, Jarome Iginla started to get back into form just like how he was when he played with Boston College. Jarome ended up turning on the jets and scored a total of 38 points in the final 30 games of the VHLM season, he was over a point per game, and he really turned heads, especially from his GMs in Saskatoon, as well, his GMs up in Helsinki who took him 15th overall in the Entry Draft just a season ago. This upcoming season, it is speculated that Jarome will be playing for the Saskatoon Wild for a second season, he hopes that it goes just like the second half of S39, and he expects to put up over 90 points this season.
  7. We are here tonight in beautiful Saskatoon, Saskatchewan for Heat 3 of our annual segway races. Tonight we have a variety of competitors from around the VHLM. In lane one, coming from the Yukon Rush.... SACHIMO ZOIDBERG! In lane two, coming in from the Saskatoon Wild.. Joshua Rubin! In lane three, coming from the city of Winnipeg... Ronin Barbo! In lane four, coming from the town of Chardona... Leo Birtu! In the final lane, lane 5, we have from the Saskatoon Wild.... Gunnar Skovsgaard! The race is set to begin, the participants head onto their segways and start up the engine... the buzzer goes and they are off! This is a two lap course and a quarter through the first lap these guys are neck and neck! Skovsgaard starts to pull ahead, he goes around the second turn with tons of speed, Skovsgaard continues to lead the pack heading into the final turn, in come Ronin Barbo, Barbo with a streak of speed now, he cuts of Skovsgaard as they cross the starting line to indicate one lap remaining, Skovsgaard loses control of his segway and he has fallen into the mud lining! In comes Sachimo Zoidberg, he tries to swerve around Barbo but he stays steady and doesn't let him pass, now coming into the final turn, its Zoidberg, Barbo and Birtu...........ITS A PHOTO FINISH AND IT LOOKS LIKE NEWCOMER JOSHUA RUBIN SNEAKS IN BY A NOSE! FINAL RESULTS: 1. JOSHUA RUBIN: 1:13.12 2. SACHIMO ZOIDBERG: 1:13.13 3. RONIN BARBO: 1:13.15 4. LEO BIRTU: 1:13.16 5. GUNNAR SKOVGAARD: DNF

  12. Content: 3/3 Great look into the Brampton Blades. I agree with Slobo above, the ending could have been a lot better, and if it was it would have made this Media Spot even more enjoyable to read. Grammar: 2/2 Looks like Slobo got them all. Appearance: .5/1 Atleast it wasn't a big block of text. I guess you split them up and made it okay to read, but next time adding color or something would make it nice. FINAL: 5.5/6 FINAL: 5/6
