Another shutout!

Technically yes because they are still a draftee and if they came back today and pumped a full 10 TPE each week, they'd be a great backup. Backup goalies will be a huge push in the coming years and I truly believe the salary cap will go up because of them.

Solid victory

Markus King is the goaltender for the Brampton Blades and this week he accomplished (if you want to call that) a 0 save shutout. Some wondered if 0 saves is even registered as a shutout on paper. The answer is obviously yes as a shutout is described as a game that a goaltender didn't allow a goal in regulation + OT in which the goaltender is the goalie of note. Markus King followed that game up with a 1 save shutout and now sits second in the VHLM in the shutout category. Markus King has stated he is a Roberto Luongo type and finds it very hard to focus with limited action. However, King has the best defense in front of him and that bodes well for his shutout statistics but not so much his save percentage. As the Blades improve we think King's workload will go down which means his early season struggles might come back to bite him in the ass in regards to his overall statistics. *For Markus King

Shawn Muller and Tyson Kohler are on the same team for the first time in their VHL careers this season. That bodes well because the two Germans have been friends for quite some time. The older Muller came into the league before Kohler and has been making noise for years now and also has seen the Continental Cup be lifted over his head. Tyson Kohler has yet to conquer that feat with any team but came awfully close with the Calgary Wranglers. These two Germans are competing like BMW and Mercedes-Benz are, except both of these models aren't as luxurious. Little known fact, BMW and Mercedes-Benz do not have the WWII link that most think. Yes both these companies existed in World War II, but they are not owned by grandchildren of Nazi criminals. In fact BMW itself has WWII links to Joseph Goebbels but only through marriage and not through blood. That is your history lesson to go with your VHL insight.

Yeah good call, I started watching it last week and it is very cool!

@The Bread Man if you need to reach me I will send you my email address after writing this. I am willing to help you find a balance (with or without the VHL). I still talk to many former VHL members who have had hard times as well. I've gone through some shit that I'm not proud of either and some things beyond my control. Ive worked with youth groups regarding mental health, prevention and the causes of depression. I'm not sure if all that applies to you at this very second but I never like to see someone else struggling like you seem to have painted.
