  1. I hope not, only because I am a CAL fan and hate Cleveland.
  2. I'm confused. I took over the VHL NA now. So I'm assuming you still have VHLM NA (I know you do) and Tim has VHLM EU. Could've sworn last update was Jan 5th. I can't say for sure about the sim though
  3. I get that you may have meant that, but by just saying eating tons people could just think it means binge eating carbs. Specifying in this case is probably for the best, considering guys have mentioned they want to cut some weight.
  4. I just don't think @CowboyinAmerica has updated yet.
  5. Not so much eating lots, but eating right. People confuse the two. Don't go to the gym in the morning on an empty stomach and then binge eat carbs. Wake up, eat some almonds on the way to the gym. Do your workout and then come home and eat salmon for lunch or something.
  6. I spelt it so wrong. It's supposed to say "shape to avoid major injuries". Knacks is another way of saying cuts/scrapes.
  7. Name: Tyson Kohler Age: 18 Previous Team: Sarnia Sting Birthplace: List auf Syit, Germany Height: 6'3" Weight: 212 lbs. Position: Right WingScouting Report Tyson is blessed scorer, and we do mean blessed. Kohler has that natural ability to find the twine in behind the net minder wherever he is on the ice. Kohler is currently in his first season with the Yukon Rush after being drafted out of the OHL with the Sarnia Sting. Kohler is a big bodied player who doesn't exactly fit the whole "Power-Forward" style of play. His soft hands and amazing ability to skate are what set him apart from someone who you typically consider a power forward. His physical attributes and sheer size make him a nuisance in front of the net no matter what style you may think he plays.Tyson was voted as an alternate captain by his teammates down in SarniaStrengths Leadership – A player that won't be as vocal as a captain can sometimes be, but he leads by example and keeps the dressing room light. Kohler has a great attitude when he shows up to the rink and it tends to rub off on his teammates. A player who is calm under pressure and able to get the juices flowing of his teammates when they need a spark. Never afraid to back up his teammates with a big hit or even drop the gloves for a tilt. Shot - It may seem somewhat of a broken record when scouts mention a kid has a quick release. With Tyson Kohler though that quick release is the difference between being blocked and finding the corner of the net. Tyson has seen the red light flash many times in behind the goal in his hockey career. The most interesting part about his shot is that he tends to use his slapshot more often than any other form of shot. It's unlikely that a forward needs a slapshot anywhere besides the power play as it can take too much time to create. Kohler gives you the power behind his shot and lets you feel it if it's blocked. Durability - Kohler is built and quite often is the first one in and the last one out of the weight room. He prides himself on staying in shape to often major injuries but of course knows the muscles soreness and other knacks come with the game. Being able to overpower other players is his main strength, so if he is better conditioned than they are he has a better chance of staying out on the ice the entire season.Weaknesses Agility - Gifted skater, but agility is a worry from what some scouts have said. A guy with his speed and strength is nice, but turning and being able to move in one fluid motion can be a challenge at times. Tyson sees the ice quite well and has a high hockey IQ, but his body does seem to take a bit of time to get around to reacting to a play. Off-Ice Issues - Listing a players troubles off the ice is very common in scouting reports. Tyson is very charitable off the ice, so much so that he gave some money to the wrong individuals and those same individuals want more. Kohler has been linked to a mob in the Toronto area and it is concerning on all fronts going forward. Experience - Tyson only started skating when he was 15 years old, so he really only has 3 years of experience under his belt. He sees the game well but still is unsure of how some of the rules work. Given some coaching, he could turn into a very productive leader for any team.NHL Comparison Best comparison we can give you for Tyson Kohler is San Jose Sharks forward/defenseman Brent Burns. Burns was a converted blue liner but then did go back to the blueline a few years into his career with the Sharks. Kohler is lost at times because of his inexperience. However, his general physical attributes and nose for the net give him that edge that teams desire. He is a big bodied player who goes hard to the blue paint and commands his own space.Career Potential Kohler has the potential to be a first line impact player but his size might limit his overall use in any given game. His size believe it or not could be his downfall or his strength depending on the other team. Power-Forward with a blend of skill might be the best way to describe Kohler's game. Think Jeremy Roenick and Todd Bertuzzi but with the potential for a faster skating wing player. Kohler is the guy you place in front of the net on the power play and someone left on the bench for the penalty kill.

  10. Stop posting .gif's of me on here!...but seriously look at my shoes.
  11. With the recent news that the NHL has basically kicked John Scott out of his invitation to the All-Star game, the VHL is trying to right a hockey wrong. The Seattle Bears fanbase has been desperately trying to get their own plug into the VHL's edition of this years All-Star game. Shawn Muller, resident Seattle pylon and future analyst beside Mike Milbury at NBC, is the player they are trying to vote in. The league says they might allow it if it happens because it would be a great story to let a barely functioning human being into the All-Star game just once. Muller has some pretty horrible numbers this year with 54 hits taken, a shooting percentage hovering around 5.5% and 0 assists on the penalty kill. "I think he should get in because he really would bring a lot to the all-star game festivities. Wouldn't it be fun to see a player crash into the board like he is stopping by brail?", said Seattle Bears poor fan Cody Banks.
  12. I came here to check if it was Bratislava or Yukon facing Brampton.
  13. We beat the young kids, easier said than done.
  14. Keeping it real!
  15. Not too shabby boys and girls!
  16. Woah! Woah! Woah! Not only did this week have some activity but we reached enough prospects to hold ourselves a full two rounds in the upcoming VHL Draft! That's good news for all parties involved, whether it be the players or the VHL General Managers. A few storylines to pass your way this week because of the additions of three prospects. It seems left wingers are crowding the bottom of our rankings, so let's hope they can have a quick rise in the rankings for the coming weeks. Our biggest mover this week was Cian Mercer who rose above his crayon box to get into a top five position. Bogdan Podarok and Pavel Komarov got into the moving role and both climbed one spot this week respectfully. Our biggest disappointment this week has to be Kendrick Cole who seems to be resting on his laurels a little as a top prospect. Unassisted highlights the list of top practice hours participated in this week to go along with the aforementioned Cian Mercer and young Russian Bogdan Podarok. The addition of three new prospects actually is a huge deal, because for the first time in VHL history the draft will see a player be selected from the country of Morocco in Sterling Archer. Let's go ahead and find out what the scouts have to say in regards to this drafts talent!
  17. Sweet then I can holdout haha
  18. I should reach out to him
  19. You guys aren't tanking again, you're just that bad.
  20. The irony behind Unassisted being represented by Joe Thornton in the picture.
