Atleast 153 killed in Paris terror attacks
Kendrick replied to BluObieZ's topic in Off-Topic Discussion
Of the course the world will make it what it is in the media and an agenda will be pushed. But for everyone like you and I on the outside we can see it for what it is, an act or terror. Not an act of racism. We can only help by spreading correct knowledge and not do what the media does and spray garbage. The avatars will come and go, but the thought of being and praying for Paris will still be there. I know for a fact I don't plan on going out and destroying the world just because an avatar has been removed from a profile. I would assume people are bigger than that. -

But that's my point, what mountain? These guys aren't located in a specific area. They are scattered around the globe and mobile. This isn't just some "Osama sitting in a cave" type of terrorism. This is "locked and loaded ready to jump at any sign of weakness" terrorism. They don't even have to have things planned, they go in with masks or without masks. They go in with AK-47's or bombs. They don't really have an agenda outside of killing whoever as a response to them themselves being targeted in the past. I do want to raise awareness to your god question. Because ISIS if I recall doesn't exactly follow the beliefs of any one religion so them praying to their god would almost seems somewhat useless? (for lack of a better word). Question though, not attacking you, but if you aren't paying attention to the news where exactly are you getting these facts so quickly from the attacks? Cause front lines would be the only way to get facts before they are thrown into the garbage filter of Television. -
Hi, you've reached the office of Draper. He is out right now attending to shit that Higgins neglected in the off-season. I have moved this for you in his place. -VHL office

Depending on what you think of well thought out. I have seen details just like you that so far have given the impression that a few of these (7 were reported) were basic attacks with guns in a crowded room. I mean it's not far fetched to believe terrorists know where highly populated places are going to be. Not to mention getting past security at a concert is not like breaking into Ft. Knox. I mean two individuals walking into a concert and opening fire is easily doable given the access to the event and knowledge of when it takes place. I'm not saying it's directly effected but as @atw2592 stated, ISIS members are located in more places than we can think of. I agree that they want everyone to be afraid but so do a lot of news agencies to a point where they scare you out of thinking logically and intelligently and make you a sheep. (Not saying you guys are, just individuals who trust media sources as a full-proof source). I said that last sentence because CNN and FOX News are both driven by their own agenda (fuelled by the US government it seems). I'm interested to here your take on this next question, but how do you see these "free" nations going about attacking them? It's not as easy as people think. You can't just walk in and have air strikes over villages to hope and pray you kill a majority of ISIS members in a select population. That breaks sooooooo many international human rights violations and laws. To eliminate ISIS it has to be performed on the ground in a stealth operation, because they are lethal and will eliminate anyone they even suspects of being ears on the outside. For anyone who didn't know, not that it matters in the grand scheme of this but the concert was a Eagles of Death Metal concert (frontman Josh Homme was the lead singer in Queens of the Stone Age). That's minor details and I pray from the families of the victims. -

In regards to having to do something about it, if this is an ISIS related event. This may be a response for something done against ISIS (air strikes on Jihadi John). So it's an eye for an eye sort of thing if true. -
Moscow introduces new Starting goalie

I'm going to introduce a knuckle sandwich to your face Shawn. -
So basically Burrows shits rainbows? This is the same guy who bit another player, struck a 19 year old in the face in a ball hockey game and is regarded as a guy who can lose it at times on the ice? I'm not saying Burrows is a bad person but you are crediting Jason Botchford (Vancouver's least respected journalist behind Tony Gallagher) for writing a piece saying Burrows is an angel. Tootoo by no means is the NHL's Mother Theresa (I don't want him on my team) but I'm not going to have Jason Botchford influence my opinion on anything besides which Vancouver restaurant has the best egg salad. Come on now. I never said Burrows was an angel. I said I agree with Botchford, and that I believe Burrows over Tootoo. I believe it because if it is as fucking bad as Tootoo is making it out to be, then he needs to say what Burrows said. "Half-assing it isn't fair to anyone", otherwise he's just covering for the fact he came off the bench to start a fight as far as I'm concerned. "Half-assing it"? If I was Jordin Tootoo I wouldn't say what Burrows said either, whatever it was it stays between those two. However, whatever it was wasn't all that pleasant so I don't think it needs to be said. Like I said, you're backing a man who has countless offences when it comes to "class". Backing a coward like Burrows solely because he has done some nice things in the past doesn't mean he is always a victim when someone accuses him of something. This whole thing is stupid, Burrows must have said something because whatever it was irked Tootoo to the point where he went out of his way to get involved with Burrows. If Burrows didn't say anything, Tootoo would have no reason too. Doesn't matter in the end as the Canucks lost the game and still suck the big dick. coming from the jersey fan lol Well yeah you could say it's a bias approach and stance in regarding the whole situation. But you have to think in a game where the Devils were leading at the time of this incident either 3-1 or 3-2 (time stamp unknown) it isn't like a player to just do what Tootoo did without something legitimate being said. Tootoo was a dirty hitter earlier in his career and he is a pretty useless player now that he doesn't hit as much, but he is far from a ticking time bomb (ex. Ben Eager, Patrick Kaleta). Whereas Burrows has been known to say some stupid things and do some stupid things throughout various stages of his career. So I get that a Canucks fan is taking the side of a reporter who is taking the side of Burrows (by backing the reporter you technically are backing the player) but come on, see the situation through clear eyes and you'll see that Burrows had to have said something. Plus every time Burrows is forced to defend himself through media he always has a liars body language, always seems disingenuous.

Yeah we went over it in chat. Seems like two years of regression does a huge number on people with large TPE earning ability.

I have 340 TPE that isn't applied? I find that hard to believe. Maybe TPA means something else @XaviYEAH! Woods

Ahma: Why do you think Helsinki players are allowed to do things after deadlines? (i.e. TC, Predictions..) Draper: When can we ban Higgins? Eagles fan: When you see this send me a PM about Recruiting, because I have a 10 minutes recruiting job you and I can do together.

In what context. If they appoint a new GM who isn't in their organization or that they get the new player the GM created while in the organization? Oh sorry, I meant like not having the GM player be attached to the GM's team. Wouldn't this thread be a non-issue if basically a GM's player was just treated like any normal player and had to be drafted? Whether the team goes and gets a new GM elsewhere or has one in their organization actually has little to do with what the OP says. He is saying the GM player just comes off the books. Wouldn't matter if they had to draft the player or not, he is solely talking about salary cap.

VHL Magazine Power Poll - Stockholm and Campbell

Campbell can't be blamed for being forced into submission against his will, not fun for anyone.
