Yes but the issue is that the more you delay the more your draft picks this year and ext year have to wait it out with an empty cupboard. Already giving up the first overall was a big mistake. Then to go get a goalie who calls the shots really hampers them

When Slobo, Mcleod, Beukeboom, Funk brothers, @tfong, RawEnergy and Van Urho partnered with myself to win the S10 Cup with the Riga Reign. Posting this makes me really miss the Funk bothers as well. Not to mention we had one of the most deadliest blueline groups in VHL history. Not many are left at this site from that S10 squad.

One of my favourite memories was starting the Seattle franchise back in the first season. Of course the name was quickly switched from the Seattle Everblades to the Seattle Bears, I even had my first worst trade of my GM career when I traded Alex Watson to Calgary for Cody Banks. Banks would go inactive and Scott Boulet would commit highway robbery with the trade for the Wranglers. A short while after I joined that same Calgary team in Free Agency with @sterling and Slobo to win a Continental Cup and eventually retire Joey Kendrick into the Hall-of-Fame.
