Going through the award discussion threads it just seems like a complete lack of interest from most of BoG. Out of every player/member based award, only 5 non-blue members contributed to discussion. And some of them cleared required more discussion. The only award some people commented on was the Elmebeck.

1. TRUE/FALSE: Diljodh Starload is the only player in history to win every current award (VHL and VHLM) named after an Alexander. (Credit and 1 uncapped TPE to @Dil) Alexander is a good name to have in the VHL. Alexander Labatte and Alexander Sauve are in the HOF. Chershenko, Valiq, and Beketov got awards named after them in the VHLM and VHL, with the Valiq one being the last to come into existence in S59. That should have narrowed the search down as there have only been 12 Valiq winners other than Dil. That said, a fair few of those did also win the Beketov (the awards go hand in hand often), namely AAR, Bassolino, Kovalchuk, Smitty, and Adrienne. Being defencemen though, it would have been a longshot for any of them to win the Chershenko as top goalscorer in the VHLM, which is where Dil, who was a forward for most of his career, comes up trumps. The answer is therefore TRUE. 2. How many seasons did the longest VHL playoff streak last? (Credit and 1 uncapped TPE to @Beaviss) New York's record of 11 seasons stood for a long time, but in S73, the Riga Reign overtook it and made it 13 before heading into a rebuild after S74. With Seattle, Moscow, and Calgary on 9, 8, and 7 seasons respectively at the moment, there's no guarantee that the record will stand but Riga holds it for now. @Beaviss I can safely say I wouldn't have ever become a part of this community if it wasn't for you. I hope you find a step-back in responsibility reignites the spark that brought you here in the first place. For every one of your ideas that got dunked, you had an absolute gem that transformed this place into what it is now and we're all incredibly grateful for what you've brought to the table. Thank you for that. Aside from the league; regardless of the spats I've always thought you to be a good friend of mine, I hope you stick around and make more memories here.
