  2. I'd still post mine Some people may not know and be like wtf. Also to reflect and people notice my career
  3. he was auto retired, so really, it shouldn't matter. That rule should only be in affect if they retire prior to their final year. As stated, he wanted to reflect and such. Post shouldn't really matter. The post imo means he retires THIS season. This is the S52 World Cup.. he is eligible for S52 play @Will #LetHimPlay
  4. Anyone willing to bet $3 on Team Scandinavia?
  5. pics or it didnt happen
  6. Joel Jarvi as a young lad.
  7. Aleksei Federov, the Russian Defender who suited up and won the championship last season with the Bratislava Watchmen has officially went 2nd Overall in the S53 VHLM Dispersal draft! Though many likely expected him to go within the top few, very few probably had him pinned down in the top 3. Adding onto this, Brampton owned the first top 3 picks, so essentially, you could call any one of those 3 players your 1st overall and group them in the bunch. Immediately after being picked and making his way back off the stage, media caught up with Federov to catch his reaction. "Feels really good to be going to Brampton. The roster looks good and we have a solid goalie in Marcus King. I'm gonna do my best to keep pucks away from him and continue to work on my defensive side of the game, as well as sharpening my puck handling a little bit more. I expect this season to be an improvement from last season and to continue the alright trend I seen in last seasons playoffs."
  8. How did you get out of your wheelchair? Go away old-timer.
  9. While the last season was a strong one for the Seattle Bears center, he has had two seasons prior in which he struggled. Heading into last season, he spoke with more confidence while showing the exact same through his play on the ice. Although the season did not end how he would have liked it to, Wolf says he took a lot in from the season and felt as though he evolved his level of play largely. Heading into the new season, he feels even more confident of what he can bring to the table. "With all the trades happening and me potentially earning a first line spot, I can't help but be confident and excited. I've worked extremely hard in my career to earn a spot like this and I get wait to get going. Parechkin - Wolf - Podarok sounds like one hell of a line. Not sure what to call it? P2W, WP2? Anyway, very excited for the team altogether. Adding Hamilton, Parechkin and such will be huge. " 4 Wolf

    BERN/BRM

Hmm, interested to see what happens!
  11. This was one of the toughest deals I've had to make yet. In fact, It may be the hardest. Seattle was extremely happy when Greg decided to trade himself to us and it really paid off in my opinion. A cup wasn't brought our way, but we found ourselves and explosive center and honestly, an improved relationship in my eyes. Prior to his days here, I didn't see eye to eye with Greg often but have come to enjoy his presence in the LR and throughout the league. This was no a blindside move and was talked about throughout the Bears organization with Greg being informed and talked to with me. A deal would not have been made if the Seattle players or Greg were not okay with this. @gregreg Thank you for your time in Seattle, giving us a chance and helping us in every way that you did. We greatly appreciate what you've done for the organization from the stats to racking up the points on one hell of a season. @evrydayimbyfuglien for continuing to show his support, loyalty and that he's a great teammate by spending his hard earn VHL bucks and switching from Defense to Center for us. Just another example of why our players make Seattle such an amazing LR and organization to be a part of. @Green Safe to say @Toast and I have had our fair share of talks about you over the last probably 2 seasons. When I heard you may be interested in Seattle, it made me very happy. Maximoff is an amazing player! We hope you continue your hot trend here and find yourself at home in our LR. Welcome to the team, man! With that, thanks for the easy negotiations. See yah in future days, Riga. Accepted.
  12. Accept.
  13. Sorry, ADV, but I'm gonna have to borrow him from you. S53: 4,500,000 *NTC @sterling
  14. Nice deal for Brampton. Take me 1st OV tbh just to say it happened.
  15. I agree. Should give an amazing player a good exit. @Will let him play @Higgins and bog peoples
  16. In my opinion, stick with it. Making playoffs is bogus in a weak conference year after year and the cup run was a miracle on ice, however, you're a determined GM who evidently has passion and that's exactly what we need leading these teams. If your players are doubting you, work your ass off to show them reasons to believe in you - to not doubt you. Sit yourself down, look at your roster, assets and then look for a path for your organization to take and commit to it. It may lead you somewhere great, somewhere good or shit. Follow the path though. Get a vision and take the team there. I do not think much great has come from your tenure aside from the one season. However, a fair amount of this is due to poor luck and maybe inexperience. I got a decent taste in a previous league, as well as 5 or so seasons in the VHLM prior to stepping up. If you enjoy GMing and think you can do good for the organization, why would you step down? There will always be people who criticize your moves, what you do, what you say etc. Don't take it personal. Ignore it if it's from the same old followers who tend to follow you, or learn if it's worthy of such. You have a player who is unhappy and doubtful in your organization and leadership. You can give up and leave something you really enjoy and have passion for - OR, you can give him a reason to be happy and believe in your leadership. The jobs not easy, but your passion shows you're a good GM. I'd play for you! I say take it up a notch, find a vision for the team and roll with it! Best of luck, mate
  17. Joel Jarvi resigns, Parechkin lands in Seattle and the last of the great Hamilton's could be making a return!
