Thanks for the mentions and kind words to you all, you guys would make a hell of an all-star team

I love the idea but I would actually have to believe I had something worth listening to or even was good to compete, I'm sure you will get many amazing entries. We have so much talent on this site and we really do have a wide range of entertaining personalities

@Jayrad28 It seriously gives me a case of the good feels to see myself included in this. My time was really short in Prague but it always felt like home. Love your picks, I feel like it represents some of the best things we had going in our LR. They say a home is made by good people who care deeply , I think that describes the Phantoms in spades ? Big eternal thanks to @diamond_ace who gave me a chance and brought me to the place I didn't know i needed to be.

That moment where I think, but i can't be on a team with @Poptart we are both goalies! Then i remember that we both made new players and neither of us is a goalie lol. All I have to say is I would be on this team and happy any day of the week. @Sharkstrong Can't express how happy it makes me to see us on the same team. Add in the fact that we have @Blazzer , @Emi and @Riley_Couture and i really could not imagine a more supportive, hype and just damn fun place to be! Feel so honored to be included with such an amazing group of people, seriously this whole thing made me smile.

I'm assuming you are picking @Quik with ACL after he re rolled, because dude was a HOT FREEKIN MESS in the VHLM lol Let none of us forget that fiery hot train wreck of Quik's creativity al least until he re-rolled and stole the damn show... @Kylrad First things first, I want to congratulate you on working with the LVA color pallet and really embracing it. The thing i love the most about this graphic is the texture over the green background which is almost a little trippy on the eyes. The player Render is well lit and the only real piece of criticism is the texture over the LVA logo looks like a coverup to help it blend better. I don't find the text to be the most readable but as i constantly get criticized about my text being too punchy I'll chalk this one up to personal preference lol. 9/10 because apparently no one gives out tens, really love this one great job

Howling with Wolves Pt One : Are you Louth Enough? Fans all over the VHL just cannot get enough of the Vancouver Wolves. The team is flashy, teaming with talent and dripping with personality. Tonight, we have the lovely Venus Thightrap to answer a question that some rabid Vancouver fan have sent in. For the safety of the public we have filtered out some of the more questionable queries and decided on this one question for tonight. Who would you say are your Vancouver heroes? Who did you look up to on the Wolves that inspired your game play style? Beau and Brock Louth @Beaviss, I think the most interesting thing I have personally discovered is that The Louth family not only has a long history of playing for the wolves but the family has also been involved with management for a super long time as well. Brock Louth is currently 3rd in the team’s history for points and assists in the regular season. Brock can also boast being 2nd in penalty minutes being one of the most willing players to get physical for his beloved wolves. There are 2 Louths that are in the top ten for hits, with Beau claiming 7th overall and Brock being at 2nd in yet another regular season stat. Funnily enough Beau Louth who is 7th overall in regular season points is actually 5th in actual shots taken, showing that none of these Louth legacies ever laid back. Brock The Beast Louth was also 3rd Overall in shots blocked for the wolves and if that doesn’t say much…. He was 5th in game winning goals. If you really want to see clutch though you should look at Beau’s game winners, since he is in the number 2 slot. If none of this can convince you to love on a Louth I don't know what could, but if you like loyal talented players that are difference makes, then maybe you should look up to a Louth too.

I'll have to try to take some personal Bias away from how I feel about this graphic, I'll be the first to admit I still love seeing Philly Graphics. If you add on my personal bias for Goalie sigs in general, you should be able to guess that this sig defiantly made me smile when I saw it. I guess my biggest qualm with this graphic is the colours that were chosen for the recolor, I love the high contrast but i just don't think the Reapers Main colors were being displayed in their best light. Complexity of layers and filters may have helped blend this a bit more seamlessly. The over all effect of the graphic is a solid and the text is super legible. Great job on this one, I look forward to seeing more @KaleebtheMighty 8/10

Just a quick podcast about finding where you fit in the VHL as you move up from the VHLM. A bit about how player experiences change over time and about how us 2nd gen people can feel lost too. Finding Your Place In The VHL

1. What do you think the key to our good start to the season is? It could really be anything but I like to think it is the chemistry between our build but I think the mos important thing is for us all to continue building for the future, we don't just want to win we want to dominate. 2. Who do you think the stand out of the team will be this season? As of right now it looks like Andrew Su @Da_Berr and Jeff Downey @JeffD will be our top 2 wolves but who knows? We have a team full of talented players, there is no knowing who will step up, Jummy Spyro has done amazing as well @DarkSpyro ? 3. Who do you think will win rookie of the year? Aloe Dear @Renomitsu , She is in the right position to really break out being on an expansion and having high ice time. 4. Do you think we can make the playoffs this season? Of course, we have the drive and talent to get us there too, if not yay for a high draft pick ...there is always a silver lining. 5. Who do you see being a future leader in the locker room? Can I say me? lol It is always my goal to be a leader in the Locker Room. Micah Adrienne @Poptart is already a fantastic leader who gets our locker room pumping every game 6. Which player is most likely to go into management once they retire? I hear Emi Rune might be looking for her shot in VHL management, but I guess only time will tell. @Emi

Scouting Report: Venus Thightrap Payer Name: Venus Thightrap Age: 21 Position : C Height: 5' 9" Weight: 140 lb. Nationality: Danish VHLM Team: Houston Bulls VHLM S73 Draft: 13th Overall Hailing from Denmark Ms. Thightrap has proven her self to be an interesting player both on and off the ice. At the beginning of Season 73 not much was know about Ms. Thightrap's commitment to the game. There was buzz about Venus only entering the VHLM on a bet made between her and a long time friend. This story initially caused scouts to view Venus as bad or questionable stock . When you think about it no one could really blame teams for buying into the negative media buzz once that story went public? There were a lot of questions swarming around just who Venus was and whether we would see much out of her once she truly hit the north American market. I wish I could say Venus hit the VHLM with a bang, she first joined Vegas wee out of the whole roster she was given the least amount of ice time. At that point she was really living up to the negative projections that scouts had originally been predicting. It is not that Venus didn't do anything while she was in Vegas but unlike other rookies she was just not given the chance to prove what she could do for a team both offensively and defensively. What scouts were able to see in these early days was Venus' dedication to bettering herself. It is unfortunate that it didn't show on the stat sheet because there was not a single practice or workshop that girl did not attend. It is because of this diligent effort that she was eventually picked up by Houston in the VHLM draft . It is worth noting that Thightrap did fall significantly in that draft and there were questions to if it would happen again in the VHL draft. Of course there was still the season ahead to consider and Venus was out to prove that the VHLM general managers had made a huge mistake by letting her drop to the 2nd round. With 125 points and 149 hits Venus showed she was a present physical powerhouse who was not willing to fade into anonymity. When it came time for VHL GMs to looks closely for Value in the VHLM some people were still not sold on the Value of having Thightrap in their locker room. VHL intel was relaying that Thighrap was amongst the hardest workers that have graced the VHLM and that she had been a constant positive locker room presence. She was at the very least entertaining, enthusiastic and determined to do well for both herself and her team. At this time we would like to congratulate the Vancouver Wolves on snagging this Danish Dynamo, hopefully she can continue to play a similar role in their future.
