Username: Phil Full Name: Phil Hamilton Position: Defenseman Age: 18 Handedness: Right Recruited By/From: Knight Jersey Number: 77 Height (inches): 77 Weight (lbs.): 225 Birthplace: Gerrards Cross, England Phil Hamilton is proof that a VHL legend is not created overnight. It takes multiple seasons of top tier performances to gain the type recognition that Hamilton has achieved though out his hockey career. He is currently ranked second in the top 20 of all-time TPE earners, as of the beginning of S62. His all-time TPE capped out at a whopping 1,459. Before even entering the VHL Phil was busy building his reputation as a future star as he was called up to participated in the S43 VHL World Cup. Hamilton helped Western Europe claim the much-coveted gold metal. Shortly after that he was drafted 8th overall by the VHLM’s Yukon Rush. Phil’s value only seemed to increase with his VHLM performance which resulted in him being drafted 1st overall by the Helsinki titans in S45. His placement on the Titans would let Phil be able to play out his hockey dreams in Europe, while still being closer to home. Some of Hamilton's Greatest VHL achievements include bringing home 2 Continental Cups, 2 Victory Cups and 4 Terrence Fong Trophies. Phil was awarded the Grimm Jonsson Trophy for being a top Leader in the VHL 6 times, only missing out on this illustrious award for one season of his VHL Career. Phil also claimed The Stirling Labatte trophy for being the best defenseman in the VHL twice in his already start studded career. As part of the Western Europe Playing for the World Cup Hamilton brought home a total of 2 gold medals, 2 silver medals and 2 Top Defenseman awards. Career Awards: S45 Continental Cup - VHL Champions (HSK) S46 Continental Cup - VHL Champions (HSK) S45 Victory Cup - Regular Season Champions (HSK) S46 Victory Cup - Regular Season Champions (HSK) S45 Terence Fong Trophy - EU Conference Champions (HSK) S46 Terence Fong Trophy - EU Conference Champions (HSK) S48 Terence Fong Trophy - EU Conference Champions (HSK) S49 Terence Fong Trophy - EU Conference Champions (COL) S43 Gold Medal (WEU) S46 Gold Medal (WEU) S48 Silver Medal (WEU) S50 Silver Medal (WEU) S46 Top Defenseman - World Cup S48 Top Defenseman - World Cup S45 Grimm Jonsson Trophy - Top Leader S46 Grimm Jonsson Trophy - Top Leader S47 Grimm Jonsson Trophy - Top Leader S48 Grimm Jonsson Trophy - Top Leader (Co-Winner) S50 Grimm Jonsson Trophy - Top Leader S51 Grimm Jonsson Trophy - Top Leader (Co-Winner) S47 Sterling Labatte Trophy - Top Defenseman S49 Sterling Labatte Trophy - Top Defenseman Season 45 S45 started on a high note for Hamilton, being drafted to Helsinki 1st overall. Some people might have predicted for this new comers’ fire to burn out, but they couldn’t have been more wrong. S45 was a season of dazzling victories for the Helsinki Titans. The Titans won the Terence Fong Trophy when they claimed their place as EU Conference Champions, as well as the Victory Cup when they became the Regular Season Champions, and finally, they won Continental Cup making them the VHL Champions. It has been said that Hamilton was a key piece in Helsinki’s outstanding performance in S45. As proof he was awarded the S45 Grimm Jonsson Trophy for being a Top Leader. Phil’s performance was simply stunning in S45 and he was just getting started. Season 45 Statistics (VHL): VHL Regular Season S45(HSK) 72GP | 6G - 36A - 42P | +54 | 108SHT | 0GWG | 100PIM | 90HIT | 86SB VHL PLAYOFF S45(HSK) 12GP | 5G - 6A - 11P | +6 | 23SHT | 2GWG | 10PIM | 18HIT | 25SBhn Season 46 S46 marked the beginning another remarkable season for both Hamilton and the Helsinki Titans. The Titans reclaimed their title as league champions for a 2ndconsecutive season. Again, the Titans claimed The Continental Cup, The Victory Cup and The Terence Fong Trophy. Phil was asked to represent Western Europe in the S46 VHL World Cup where he claimed a gold medal. Hamilton received an award for being the top defenseman of that tournament. S46 brought another accolade for Hamilton as he was awardee the Grimm Jonsson Trophy for being a top leader. It is easy to see that S46 was another strong building block as Hamilton continued to pave his way into the Hall of Fame. Season 46 Statistics (VHL): VHL Regular Season S46(HSK) 72GP | 11G - 55A - 66P | +64 | 186SHT | 4GWG | 101PIM | 133HIT | 85SB VHL PLAYOFF S46(HSK) 10GP | 0G - 5A - 5P | -1 | 24SHT | 0GWG | 28PIM | 14HIT | 16SB WORLD CUP ROUND ROBIN S46(WEU) 10GP | 2G - 9A - 11P | +11 | 21SHT | 1GWG | 12PIM | 28HIT | 18SB WORLD CUP ELIMINATION ROUNDS S46(WEU) 2GP | 1G - 0A - 1P | +1 | 8SHT | 0GWG | 4PIM | 2HIT | 2SB Season 47 Season 47 could be considered one on Hamilton’s most uneventful seasons. Phil himself continued to put out stunning performances. This is evident by 85-point season and that fact that Phil ended his season as a +55 didn’t hurt either. Phil’s amazing personal performance led him to be the recipient of both the Grimm Jonsson Trophy for being a Top Leader and The Sterling Labatte Trophy for being Top Defenseman. Which proves that a player can shine even when their team does not win any league titles? Season 47 Statistics (VHL): VHL Regular Season S47(HSK) 72GP | 32G - 53A - 85P | +55 | 228SHT | 7GWG | 134PIM | 170HIT | 113SB VHL PLAYOFF S47(HSK) 6GP | 1G - 4A - 5P | -5 | 16SHT | 0GWG | 8PIM | 17HIT | 9SB Season 48 Season 48 was yet another year where Hamilton would be envied by his hockey peers. The Helsinki titans were picking up steam again and managed to claim the Terence Fong Trophy making them the European Union Conference Champions. At this point they should have renamed the Grimm Jonsson Trophy after Hamilton as he claimed it for the 3rd consecutive season; although this time he was a co-winner. Phil was asked to represent team Western Europe in the S48 VHL World Cup. Western Europe was able to snag the Silver Medal this time and Hamilton brought home some extra hardware as the best defenseman of the tournament. Season 48would mark Hamilton’s last season with the Helsinki Titans and a new chapter in this Hall of Famer’s career. Season 48 Statistics (VHL): VHL Regular Season S48(HSK) 72GP | 27G - 55A - 82P | +33 | 265SHT | 4GWG | 142PIM | 265HIT | 115SB VHL PLAYOFF S48(HSK) 11GP | 1G - 3A - 4P | -9 | 39SHT | 0GWG | 30PIM | 45HIT | 17SB WORLD CUP ROUND ROBIN S48(WEU) 10GP | 3G - 10A - 13P | +2 | 35SHT | 1GWG | 28PIM | 33HIT | 20SB WORLD CUP ELIMINATION ROUNDS S48(WEU) 3GP | 0G - 0A - 0P | 0 | 12SHT | 0GWG | 6PIM | 5HIT | 7SB Season 49 Season 49 marked a new time in Hamilton’s career as he was traded from The Helsinki Titans to the Cologne Express. Phil greatly contributed to his new team becoming the European Union’s Conference Champions. This meant that Cologne brought home the S49 Terrence Fong Trophy. This would be the last year that Phil would claim that honor with any team. Hamilton’s personal accomplishments continued to grow as he was awarded the S49 Sterling Labatte Trophy for being a top defenseman. This seemed to be a season of Lasts for Phill as it was also the final time in his VHL career that he would bring home The Sterling Labatte Trophy. Season 49 Statistics (VHL): VHL Regular Season S49(COL) 72GP | 23G - 78A - 101P | +15 | 249SHT | 3GWG | 197PIM | 321HIT | 163SB VHL PLAYOFF S49(COL) 11GP | 1G - 8A - 9P | -4 | 30SHT | 0GWG | 46PIM | 57HIT | 26SB Season 50 It is a well know fact that what goes up must go down, but don’t worry the fall wasn’t too steep for Phil Hamilton as his career began its wind down in S50. Cologne did not perform particularly well in both the regular season and the playoffs. Against these odds Hamilton once again brought home the award for being the Top Leader in S50, The Grimm Jonsson Trophy. Phil was invited to participate in his last VHL World Cup again he played for Team Western Europe and was able to bring home yet another Silver Medal. Season 50 Statistics (VHL): VHL Regular Season S50(COL) 72GP | 16G - 52A - 68P | +29 | 182SHT | 4GWG | 116PIM | 276HIT | 111SB VHL PLAYOFF S50(COL) 6GP | 1G - 0A - 1P | -5 | 13SHT | 0GWG | 14PIM | 20HIT | 10SB Season 51 Season 51 marked another year that Hamilton played for Cologne. Even though Cologne did make the playoffs this season they were not able to claim any trophies. This was yet another season when Hamilton’s team did not perform particularly well but Phil himself was a standout. Racking up 112 points, 91 of those being assists it is no wonder that Hamilton was awarded The Grimm Jonsson Trophy for being a Top leader for the 6th and final time in his career. Hamilton ever the heavy hitter had an impressive 251hits in the regular season and additional 39 in the playoffs. This would be the last season where Phil would claim an individual award and it was also his last year with Cologne before moving on to a new team and his last VHL season. Season 51 Statistics (VHL): VHL Regular Season S51(COL) 72GP | 21G - 91A - 112P | +67 | 230SHT | 4GWG | 133PIM | 251HIT | 73SB VHL PLAYOFF S51(COL) 11GP | 2G - 10A - 12P | +5 | 23SHT | 1GWG | 26PIM | 39HIT | 19SB Season 52 With only one year left in prestigious career Hamilton decided to leave Cologne and sign as a Free Agent with the Toronto Legion in S52. Phil concluded the final season of his career as a +36. He ended the regular season with 87 points, which is impressive for a player in his last season. With his final season coming to the end and the play offs falling out of reach Phil still managed to leave the VHL similarly to how he entered it, an individual with insurmountable talent. The only difference is that this time as he closed the locker room door for the final time he was leaving as a living VHL Legend, who had claimed his place among the best in hockey history. Season 52 Statistics (VHL): VHL Regular Season S52(TOR) 72GP | 20G - 67A - 87P | +36 | 234SHT | 2GWG | 105PIM | 168HIT | 95SB VHL PLAYOFF Toronto Legion did not make the playoffs in Season 52 (Word count 1861)

Dan I don''t think you've ever been more off base, I think @McWolf will be able to do a more accurate draft because I will not be going this high. Good guess though! -
