To answer a few of your questions, Brick is nobody’s back up, for me from the very beginning it was HoF or bust. I don’t plan in fading into the sunset. This is a tough situation but in retrospect I wouldn’t have made any different choices. It was an honour to be asked to be @Beaviss‘ AGM in Quebec. I am still hoping that I will make my mark on the VHL and I still believe the best spot for Wahl is with @Bushito in Calgary, but that choice is firmly in his hands. I don’t like the idea of sharing time with @Stoffiday because he deserves his own spot and I would hate competing for time with him, but if I had to I woud. Lastly my heart goes out to @Poptart he has been an amazing goalie and deserves a spot in the bigs as well, I really hope Davison gets a good spot, just not my starting spot lol.

This trade definitely changed what I thought Toronto would be drafting this season. It will be interesting to see how this effects tomorrow night.

Saskatoon is a great environment to grow your player. @Dtayl and @Peace you both made playing on Sask fun.

Honestly all the tpe you have collected in such a short time is amazing! You should be so proud of all you accomplished. From the moment we saw you pop up on the site Saskatoon knew you were special. We are all very lucky to have played with such a hard working individual. You going 1OA is a testament to all the hard work you have put in. Keep it up and you could break some records! Best of luck to you with your new team in Oslo, they don’t know it yet but they are lucky to have you.

I don’t hold it against the ones who are passionate about the position but the ones who do it to ensure they always have a ‘good’ goalie instead of drafting one is what concerns me... they could make us obsolete in the VHL.

I agree as goalies we all take our chances. There is both great risk and reward playing as a goalie. Those who are passionate about the position know that it is competitive out there with lots of prospects and few spots. The only thing I personally disagree with is how many GM goalies there are but I don’t think that option should be taken away, just hoping that it will be more balanced in the future to make room for some rookie goalers.

Why Do We Need a VHL AGM? The atmosphere in VHL is changing, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. It seems that VHL GMs are starting to take to the idea of having some extra help manage their clubs. Weather it is a busy work schedule or taking on a person who has different personal strengths it would seem like this is a trend that is just starting to be rolled out in the VHL. For the people who are asking why this is necessary I think we need to look at how the VHL itself is changing. We are seeing a shift in the amount of rookie players that are coming in to the VHLM, they are social, active and want to play an active role in the community. The best way to reach out to these new members is to make sure they are met with representatives from A VHLM team and get them started but the best way to keep these players is to get them excited about moving on to the VHL and earning TPE. This is where I think the VHL AGM position comes in in terms of scouting and making sure players feel motivated to get to the VHL. These New VHL AGMs like the VHLM AGMs need to possess a welcoming attitude, a talent for motivation and a knack for talking. They are Jacks of all trades who are ready to learn more about the VHL and who aren’t afraid of hard work. If you are interested, I hear more positions may be opening themselves up in the future. What do you think about these new generation of changes?

I’m more than willing to take the reigns this year, just need to make sure I have access to all the google docs if your taking me back. I had a lot if fun doing the WJC last year with @McWolf and I’m sorry to hear he won’t be returning! But with this league we always have a lot of awesome active people to help out, I’ll be interested in your final decision.

@Banackock you’re replacing me? And here I thought you were expecting me to return to my WJC commissioner role...

Hopefully he gets a bit of the HoF fire that got into me, that drive to be better than the last person who used the name. AGMs Arn't the norm in the VHL? I had no clue... If I had been any other type of player this may have actually gotten truly out of control, not like goalies are a hot commodity. now if i was a 250 D-man I think that would have sparked some real interest as i don't really know a team that doesn't need one of those atm, just thought I should point this out.

Catch me in the regular season and you won't be calling me soft. I've flamed people so bad that Tfong thought a new Korean BBQ joint opened up! Compassion is not weakness it is the strength to deal with what is without causing undo harm to others.

At this point all I want to do is for people to stop throwing hate at @Bushito, It is uncalled for. Part of what i love about this league is the passion that each of my league mates share with me and that goes especially for Bushito. I can't help but respect people who play to win . I have made decisions and in life decisions have consequences whether I like them or not. The out pouring of support from everyone is greatly appreciated but this is not a war and I won’t let someone I respect be villianized. The discussion to prevent further instances like this is useful and serves a purpose but I won’t allow someone to take all the heat for what is happening, it just wouldn’t sit right with me. Again thank you for all for your kind words, my time in the VHL has been amazing because of my interactions with every one of you and I ask from here on we talk problem sloving instead of pointing fingers. As it is unlikely what is said will change anyone’s point of view.
