S61 Prediction Points First off, sorry if you got a notification saying 'Podcast' was added to your player. The ID# for Prediction Points on my test server is the ID# for Podcasts on the live site and I forgot to change it. Secondly: If your prediction points say 'Applied to player', they have already been updated for you and added to your Banked TPE. Anyone whose doesn't has not linked their player on the Portal. Doubles weeks have also been factored in and added to the players of people who bought. For GM's and others with 2 players, the points HAVE been added to both players. To be extra clear, if it says Applied to player, you do NOT need to submit a claim for them. If you aren't sure if they've been applied, just check your Update Log and they should show up under the most recent week! According to STHS 'Experience - The higher the stat, the better his morale and his team morale will be. Limited effect on faceoff.' Supposedly has an effect on playoff performance also.

All S55, S56, S57 players have been depreciated. If you have your player linked on the Portal, you should have got a notification informing you of such. Any purchases made in the Player Store were applied. People can make purchases until the end of off-season to have your depreciation edited but if you're going to, I ask that you don't make any changes to player's attributes until after I edit your depreciation so that it's easier to properly adjust for your player store purchase. @Victor

First of all, if you visit the Portal you may notice that its shiny new notification system was short-lived. I found a way to send notifications to the Forum instead, and you will now receive notifications on the Forum when your updates are approved. Clicking the notification will lead you to Player Management to apply your TPE. Obviously I don't want to flood you with notifications if you have multiple updates approved at once, so the way I've set it up, it will only send the notification if your last approved update was approved more than 1 hour before the update currently being approved. I think this will work fine since updates are usually approved in batches for each player. You will also receive a forum notification when you get depreciated and, once the awards are announced, you will get one to tell you that your prediction points have been added to your player. I'm sure I will find more uses for this soon! Secondly, S62 Prediction Points are now open. Travel here and click 'My Predictions' to submit your predictions. Predictions can be edited by clicking that same button up until the season begins.

We actually don't even use the contract crap on STHS, far easier for the simmer to just set the rosters up manually each off-season based off our forum finances rather than entering a bunch of contracts. So since finances/rosters would be available on the Portal and trade/FA claims were posted on the forum for the simmer to process, nothing would need to change with STHS. Unfortunately automating trades and stuff in STHS itself is a no go so the simmer will still have to do that stuff manually anyways.

The cap and brackets will remain the same for S62.

To be fair, I think some of the GMs of the BOG are misrepresenting things a bit here by not properly explaining. The idea was never to lower the sort of.. 'overall cap space' or make things more restrictive than they are now, it was actually just making some adjustments to the brackets after seeing how things played out this season with the new brackets - and the lower cap was a result of the new brackets because the minimum for most brackets decreased by at least 500k, slightly more in some cases. So simply saying 'the cap is going down 3M' is not really an accurate description, at all, because minimum salaries were going down with it. I guess they decided to leave that part out. IIRC Quik's projections showed every single team would have had at least a little extra cap space under the new brackets than the old. But I agree with you that we likely missed the boat for this season because we couldn't really come to a clear consensus, which is why there was no announcement. Tbh I think the discussion should move to the public realm for next season because I doubt we're going to come to a consensus in the BOG with 2 GMs lobbying for big cap increases.

Probably tomorrow. But, I always give people the chance to purchase things until the end of off-season and I just go back and fix them.
