  4. 1.Through 9 games, HC Davos is sitting at 4-3-2 and 6th place in the VHL. Does this surprise you at all? I think it's too early to fully get a read on anything, so I don't look much into the standings. 2.Toronto Legion is undefeated so far through 9 games. Davos is set to face Toronto on Game 57 which is only 3 games from now. Will they still be undefeated? If the game already happened, did that result surprise you? Toronto is a tough team, but we have star power and hungry young players. I feel like we could push them. 3.Davos has given up the fewest goals in the league with 18, what do you think has been the biggest component of that? Our defense is incredible and our goalie has some of the best reflexes I've ever seen. 4.John Madden is currently leading the team in scoring with 10 points in 9 games. His personal record is 64 points in which he did last season, how much do you see him beating that by? He's had a great off-season of training, and he'll smash that record pretty convincingly. 5.How do you think the rookies have played so far this season? All of us rookies have made each other better, it's fun competing on the big stage against guys going through similar issues and troubles as yourself. 6.What do you think is the reason for only scoring 23 goals? Does the lines need changing or did Davos lose that much scoring power? It comes back to Earth when considering our defense is so strong, that I don't believe the margin is any need for concern. We play our own brand of hockey.

  8. 7) If you could have created a player of any other position, which position would you have picked and why? Goalie, I've liked the idea of making that for my next guy. 8 ) Do you feel there are enough job opportunities on VHLForum? I haven't looked too much into it, but from what I've heard jobs are readily available. 9) On a scale of 1-10 how important to you was having an active team Discord channel? 10, it helped me a lot to stay connected to the team as it's an affiliate league. 10) How does your player prefer to celebrate after a big win? Glass of milk and a long nap. 11) If there was a real life brand or product your player would promote, what would it be? Probably an ice-cream company. 12) What is your top ranked childhood cereal? Weet-Bix, staple of any Australian childhood!
  9. Scoringsonn on being a VHLM Champion: Raising the Founders Cup was one of the proudest moments of my young life so far. Going out there and competing in practice and in games with the Reapers is something I'll never forget. We really worked our asses off all year, starting weeks before any preseason games even started. We were always out on the ice, or in the gym, dedicated to each other and to Philadelphia to deliver the best season we possibly could. Nobody expected much from us considering how last season went, but man, we proved the doubters wrong. We can call ourselves champions forever, and what's best, we did it as a complete unit. On being named a finalist for Playoff MVP: It's an incredible honour to be named as a finalist for such a prestigious award. To be singled out in a team of champions, just even to be nominated, it's an unbelievable personal achievement. I'm personally proud of myself that I played my best hockey when it mattered the most and that I was able to come through for my teammates. I'm more proud of Walter for winning the award and leading us from the front all season long -- it couldn't have gone to a better player or leader.

  11. Scoringsonn on making it to the finals: I couldn't be prouder of the boys. We did all the hard work, had a lot of doubters coming off a disappointing season last year. We definitely have what it takes to lift that trophy, but even getting to this point has been an incredible achievement. This is the best team, both on and off the ice, I've ever been involved with, and I want that last memory with this team to be celebrating a championship win. On what it will take to win it all against Ottawa: We have to make sure we pay them the respect they deserve. I was expecting to be facing off against Halifax after the regular season ended, but Ottawa is a very worthy opponent. I'll be scouting their dynamic wings very heavily -- our team and front office is great with providing players with film to study the opposition team. Proving myself as an elite player in the finals of the VHLM will go a long way to improving my draft stock, so there is even more added motivation to come out strong against Ottawa and win it all with Philadelphia. Above all else, the Reapers gave a kid from Iceland a shot, and I want to repay them with a Championship.
  12. 1) With the finals set, and Ottawa as our opponent; was Ottawa the opponent you expected to match up against? Ottawa has been a top team all season, seeing them here isn't a surprise. 2) How many games are you predicting the series to go? Six games. It will be back and forward. 3) Who is your current Reapers MVP? Walter has had a fantastic season and lead from the front. 4) Win or lose, what is your argument for Blade as possibly being GM of the year? She took risks to build this team, you have to reward that bravery. 5) It has been an incredible season in Philly; what is your favourite moment from the season? Securing the top seed definitely. 6) What are your expectations for season 67 whether entering the draft, returning to the Reapers, or moving on to your VHL club? I hope to be able to contribute straight away for whichever team I get drafted to.
