I just got drafted to VHLM?

1) The draft is over, the signings have settled down, and the VHLM is just about ready to get things started. Who do you think is the favorite, going into this season? Honestly, I don't know much since I am pretty new but based on some peoples answers I would go with Vegas since they won last season. 2) With teams filling up this quickly, further expansion of the VHLM might be a potential talking point. Where would you put another minors team? Put one in BC baby CANADA! We love our Hockey! 3) The offseason's ending- what's your player's plan to get back in shape for game 1? Just work hard and stop putting on so much weight. 4) Do you/your player have any preseason superstitions to help boost their performance? Have a nice juicy steak about an hour before warmup. But it has to be cooked Rare! 5) Now that you've had time to get used to your team, who's been your favorite teammate thus far? TY343 just seems like such a great guy. Basically, like every one of my teammates! 6) If the commissioners/GMs could do one thing to make your VHLM experience more fun, what would it be? Not to sure. I really enjoy the leauge! BREAKING NEWS Jubo07 the GM of the Las Vegas Aces was arrested early this morning for not playing Apex Legends with new draft member Jordan Tonn. Jordan called the police at 9:43 saying that Jubo was in a full team and therefore could not play with him. Now Jordan was no happy about that. The police raided his house at 9:44 with a record-breaking time. Well, they had to go fast or Jubo would have gotten away said, Jordan Tonn. Jubo was also fined $50,000 and now has to play Apex with Jordan quite often. Which sucks for him. More News The S65 VHLM draft has now come to a close. Here are my thoughts. Drafted first overall to the Yukon Rush was Triple H with a TPE of 181. This guy is an outstanding player and there was 0 doubt that he was going to slip. Yukon got a highly skilled player. Drafted second overall was Denver Wolfe by the Minnesota Storm. Denver is a top class defenceman. Minnesota is super lucky to get him. Drafted third overall in the draft was Shane Mars by Minnesota. Shane is a top-class forward. Minnesota made the right call picking both of them up! The Yukon Rush got the best goalie in the draft Justin Cole at number 4. They now have a top center and goalie. The fifth pick went back to Minnesota. They grabbed a sweat center Orion Slade. In the first round, Minnesota got a top Dman, a top Winger and a top center so right off the bat there looking good! The sixth pick went to a brand new team! The Houston Bulls run by Sonnet! With there first ever pick they took a top line Center man who will be there future. Maximilian Kirbsson. The seventh pick was to the Philadelphia Reapers and they drafted a sweet defenceman Elasmobranch. The final pick in the first round was Kari Jurri going to Houston! Sonnet really knows what he's doing. Skipping over round 2 and 3. Now we have round 4 the STEAL of the draft the biggest curveball in history. Sonnet making big plays and confident plays. Picking up Blake Laughton at 30 TPE. WHAT. 30 TPE going that high what are you doing Sonnet. But then I got the news. Blake was super excited for the draft. Every day he would ask in the Discord when is the draft. YES, the draft is coming soon and things like that. He really really wanted to get drafted. Sonnet had a feeling that this guy will be active and turn out to be the steal of the draft. Sonnet did not want to take chances by waiting on him. He wanted to guarantee that Blake was on his team. Moving on to round 5. The best pick in the draft of course xD. Jordan Tonn going to Las Vegas BABY. After Jordan was drafted we were told that he was super pumped to be on the team and just so excited to get started with the season and get scoring goals! Is Blake Laughton going to be the steal of the draft? Or will it be Jordan Tonn?

I look forward to starting my career in the defending champs team! Also, I am excited to grow my player and see how he does during the season. 2. Do you think the Aces have a shot at defending the cup? Why/Why not? They drafted super well! So, of course, I think we can get that cup again! We have a lot of great players returning to the Aces as well and they know what to do get that cup again! 3. How do you think your player will play this season? What do you hope to accomplish in the minors? I think my people should be about in the middle of everyone maybe above average. Since I am getting a lot of ice time I am confident in my skills and hopefully, we can get that cup! 4. Who do you think drafted the best, and why? I think all the teams drafted about the same. The draft was stacked this year and every team got some really skilled players. ?? ME. 5. What new expansion or relocated team are you most excited to face this year? Philadelphia, Houston, or Minnesota? and why? I am excited to see what Sonnet did with Houston. I watch the live stream that he did and he talked about his Houston team. I think they are going to go far and will be a challenge. 6. What are your first thoughts on being in Vegas? Do you like it here? Share some of your excitement! I was so pumped and still am! I already love Jubo he just seems like such a great guy so far! We have a lot of good players around so I am pumped to be playing with them! I will be attending all of the after game parties!

Jordan Tonn Position LW Height 6' 4" Weight 205 Lb Age 16 Number 12 Current Team VHLM Free Agent Home Town Canada, BC, Kelowna Pros Skating Jordan has been working really hard on his skating and now it is one of his strong suits! He has been training hard every day and is almost at the pro level. But is still ready to compete against Connor Mcdavid as fastest skater! Shot Jordan can really shoot the puck. He loves to invade Ovi's office and just grip it and rip it! I would say that he is even better than Ovi and it should be called Jordan's Office! If this guy has anytime away from a defender he will make you pay. In his first season in college, he scored 72 goals in 42 games. More than half of them in his office. He’s got some amazing hands and physical gifts. Which makes his shots almost second to none. His coach’s forced him to work hard for weeks. Jordan will be a god among mortals when it comes to putting pucks in the net. Leadership Jordan is always the guy to come up to you and say good job man! He is a great leader. He always is respectful to his opponents but not too respectful. All this guy does is work he never stops! He's always the one off the ice and always the first one on. Whenever there is an optional skate he is there working on this defence and penily shots. which is clear that they need work. Cons Defence Being a winger, Jordan already doesn't have may d-zone responsibilities, however, it's become clear that his play in his own zone is lacklustre at best. he's often the result of point shots and the other team using their dmen so much. The team has never praised Jordan on his defensive ability, however, he is still expected to hold his own, which he has shown that he cannot. It's great that He's a great leader but that is not an excuse for his defence. During is collage year Jordan was only a Plus of 5 which is quite small compared to how many goals he scored. It would seem at times that he only wants to focus on attacking and creating goals, that he forgets to defend his own one. This is something Jordan will have to work on if he wants to be successful in the professional game. Fighting Jordan has never really been much of a fighter so therefore he is not that great at fighting he tries to stay out of fights as much as he can but if his teammates need his help he will fight! Just not well. Penalty Shots Jordan with his current toolset is not a go-to skater for the one on goalie moments. He would like to improve his scoring and creative ability and we are optimistic for what time will bring forth as his career in the VHLM gets underway. When he was in college he scored 2 out of 18 penalty shots so it is very clear that this is one area that will be improved on majorly!
