I created Day 1 of off-season/pre-season recreate and officially just hit 280 TPE before Day 1 of the next pre-season. I haven't worked this hard on a player since my original back in S3.

Would be cool if that could happen as I'd always stay GM of a team even if I decided to stop making players. However to deny your team a free player requiring no draft picks and no trades to acquire is just a bad choice as a GM. Even if you do welfare every week to get a player who can do something you owe it to your team. You also can't preach activity and hard work if you yourself aren't putting in some effort. I don't know how many times we've dealt with that but early PensFan is the most personal example for me as I was traded to Vasteras early on S4ish.

Ya playoffs you have the most hits all time I think regular season you fell like 14 hits shy putting you in 2nd. I think you can make the official claim most hits all time (if you include playoff hits). Also 2 Continental Cups isn't bad despite the lack of other individual awards. The reason is he already knows the offense and they don't expect him to actually play. He will likely be very helpful for Orton if the Cowboys end up winning this week. Any other QB they brought in other than the guy Cleveland(I think) signed would have to learn their offense. They don't have time to teach someone from scratch and Kitna was never a great QB but he did it for so long. When you do something since the age of 12 or whatever more than 20 years even if you take a break you can still do it to some extent.
