1) Mexico City finished the first week with a 3-8 record. Is this the record you expected and how can we improve next week? Picking up defense should start to help us win games so I'm glad we were able to make a few signings. 2) Jeremy Lin has started the season on fire with 10 goals and 12 assists in 11 games. What do you think of his play so far? Yeah he's on fire, playing next to him might be padding my stats a bit haha. 3) The Kings traded away Arthur Dayne early last week. What did you think of that trade? I mean we're not in a playoff spot, so trading off some assets makes sense. 4) Do you tape your stick in a specific way? If so, how do you tape it? I tape a red and white X on the end of the blade. 5) What is your favourite hockey memory across your entire career so far? Getting a chance to play in the VHLM. Especially somewhere like Mexico City. It's such a different atmosphere than Austria. 6) We have no defensemen on our roster. How do you think we could upgrade the defense? Well luckily we just managed to sign a few. Things should look up a bit.

This is the exact reason I didn't sign with Houston with my recreate this season. They offered me a contract and I saw how stacked their team already was and thought it would be completely unfair.

1)What do you think are Mexico City's expectations heading into this season? We have a few good pieces and that should win us some games, I'm not really sure what to expect though. 2) Do you expect us to make the playoffs? Why or why not? Yeah I could see us making it in, but teams like Houston are going to be incredibly difficult to beat. 3) What song do you listen to before a game in the locker room? Fuck by Oliver Tree 4) Have you ever pranked any of your teammates? I just got here yesterday so no havent even had the chance haha. 5) Do you have any suggestions for what our goal song should be? The King by Enter Shikari. The song is pretty hype and when it released I thought it would be perfect for the LA Kings. 6) What is the biggest aspect of your game you want to improve in S73? Well this will be my first season. Right now I just want to see what I'm capable of in the VHLM.

When I was 13 I had just moved from the south side of Chicago to the suburbs, and it was actually the first chance I ever got to play hockey. I grew up in a predominantly lower class neighborhood and had never even been exposed to hockey until I moved, glad I did haha.

Hello, you're joining us for another installment of The Prague Post. It's been quite a while since we've met with our next guest but today we're talking to Mat Tocco of The Vancouver Wolves. So rumor has it that this will be your final season in the VHL, why is that? Tocco: Well you know I've accomplished more than I would have thought possible. I was an all star multiple seasons and have my name on a cup. Sure I'd like to accomplish more but age has caught up to me and if I can't hang with the best of the league anymore there isnt a point. Plus I've wanted to move back home for a while now to be closer to my family. Well you've definitely had a good career and you represented your country well. With this being your last season what goals do you have for it? Tocco: Honestly I might not be among the top in the league anymore, but I still have more to give out there. I'd like help to lead this young core we have into a playoff run to send my career off. Well that appears to be all the time we have. It's been a pleasure watching your career unfold and I think I can speak for everyone back in prague when I say that we're proud of everything you accomplished. Thank you for speaking with us today.

1) What is your players number? Why did you choose that number? 24 because I've always gone with whatever age I am. 2) You're player has to leave ice hockey for some reason to play another sport. What Sport do you leave too and why? Tocco would definitely try his hand at mma. The mma scene in The Czech Republic has been growing lately. 3) What meal does your player have to celebrate? Definitely Pizza. 4) Who's the biggest clown in the locker room? Honestly I'm not sure. I tend to keep to myself most of the time. 5) Who takes charge of the playlist in your locker room? What do they play? I'm usually wearing headphones unless the coach is talking to us. I have a pretty odd taste in music. 6) VHL 73 is about to come out and who's on the cover? Does this cause them to have the curse? Jet Jaguar is gracing the cover, and nah the guy is a stud.

1. I pretty much just want to close my career out on a good note. If I can match this past seasons point totals that would be great. 2. I think we'll be in a similar situation to Moscow, our young core is going to be better and I think they'll carry us further than expected. 3. I've just been replaying Death Stranding lately. 4. Lol there's a reason I don't apply for agm/gm jobs. 5. Grey (strange, I know.) 6. I have a soft spot for Philly from my time spent on the Reapers.

1. Vancouver is one point out of a playoff spot!? Thoughts? Thought we would inch out Toronto there but I guess it wasn't meant to be. 2. Would you rather get the lotto pick or compete in the playoffs? I would have rather been in the playoffs honestly. I'm a season away from retirement and would like to go out with another cup win. 3. With the season coming to a close shortly did you hit your goals as a player? Maybe not as close to a point per game as I would have liked, but overall cant really complain. 5. With the Expansion draft coming who would you hate to see unprotected? I don't really know the team that well but hopefully all of the younger guys are safe. I'd rather end up going somewhere else for my last season, as opposed to breaking up the young core. 6. With the Expansion teams coming next season. Do you think LA will be a natural Vancouver Rival? I think with how we battled it out with Toronto for a playoff spot, we have our rivals right there. 7. Favorite flavor of Ice Cream? Matcha for sure.
