New player has done the exact opposite for me.

Well, I'm just writing this to get my points for the week but it's safe to say I'm quickly losing motivation here. It would be easy to say that it's because I'm a bit busier in real life than I previously was but that's only some of the problem. Nonetheless, it's becoming difficult to really want to write long articles here, something I absolutely enjoyed in the past. While my player is at a point where I could just do welfare the rest of the way and I would be the furthest thing from a bust, it almost feels like that would be quitting. So maybe it's being on the same team for now my fifth season, seeing a tremendously promising group fail to accomplish much of anything after believing we had what it would take to win a cup. I mean, to make it to the playoffs twice in four seasons is shitty. To only win one playoff game in four seasons is fucking terrible and disappointing. So maybe a change of scenery will make things better? Who knows? I can only hope.

I can't wait to look at each team's schedule and figure out which teams have the easiest schedule for the next week and then mostly pick players from those teams while making sure I stay under the cap each week but also make sure these players are getting enough playing time because now I'm going to be so much more knowledgeable about the VHL and maybe earn a couple extra TPE for this.

I'd just like to say it's not always necessarily best to bank for depreciation.
 
Consider this: if you have an attribute at 95, it'll depreciate down to 92 if you leave it there. It'll take 12 banked TPE to get it back. If instead you update it now to 98, it'll depreciate down to 95. Of course you have all your other attributes to consider as well, but personally I'm not going to bank at all so I can be as good as possible for the playoffs this season, and really there won't be much of a sacrifice for next season.

Being able to rework your entire roster weekly takes the skill out of it. This isn't an elimination draft where you can't pick Slaughter because someone else got him; everyone has an equal chance of building the exact same team. The difference in the winners and losers is who knows the league and which players can perform well. When you remove that factor it just cheapens the whole experience, namely for what Victor said. You see Quebec doing well, just slot in their hot players, or Stockholm's, or whoever is doing well that week.
 
It's a bold idea and it's good to see things being challenged and shaken up, but I personally feel it's a overall negative change to the whole fan league experience.
 
I personally would like to see the option to change it maybe once a season, preferably before the trade deadline. This allows you to drop someone like Thomassen who's sucking balls and add a Harumpf to help you out, without the knowledge of which teams will improve or drop off after the deadline.

I sense another trade, they just dont wanna call it a pt 2.

So the season is offically over. It was great playing with you guys and I had a blast being on the team these past few seasons. We might not have got the Cup we were looking for but I enjoyed it none the less. Best of luck to everyone on your new teams wherever you guys end up and hope to team up with yall sometime in the future. Its been real fam, stay classy and remember when I beat you guys in the future, it is gonna hurt me more than it hurts you

So, it is no secret that my activity has been tapering off lately.  As much as I enjoyed being a GM, it is not fair for me to subject the Legion players to an inactive GM, and as such, I'll be stepping down.
 
With that said, I'd like to welcome Jaladolar as the new GM of the Toronto Legion.
 
He obviously has a little bit of work ahead of him, but I have faith that he will be able to take this team to a cup in the near future.  Jaladolar will take ownership of the team immediately at the end of the post.
 
As my last action as the GM, I would like to announce that we are hanging Remy LeBeau's jersey in the rafters.  It seemed important to him, so... there ya go.  Thanks for leading us to that cup against Davos.

VAN DER MERWE READY FOR VHL
 
With the VHL Season 44 Draft right around the corner, there are analyst and fans already looking ahead to a ‘loaded’ Season 45 draft that could bolster the ranks of the VHL. Danger Van der Merwe is one of the young hopefuls looking to fulfill his VHL dream, Van der Merwe hails from the Netherlands and is one of many players who’s been able to hone his skills beforehand. While it’s uncertain where he would fall in the pre-draft rankings, or where he’d be drafted come draft night. He’s already hard at working on what he thinks might be what gets him selected high. Van der Merwe’s Agent and family already went on record stating that he was to become a well-rounded forward and maintain enough physical presence to do a service for whatever team drafts him. At the moment he hopes he can make it through the VHLM as painless as possible, though, it might be tough when he hasn’t logged too many practice hours just yet. The Season 45 draft should be an interesting one, it’ll be just as interesting to see where he lands and how well he’ll perform.
