Scott Greene of the Seattle Bears has had a column in a local newspaper for about a year now. He has written at least one article a week for the last year, but he now says that he's growing tired of writing articles. "I'm running out of things to say," says Greene. "Every week, it's the same thing. I come up with some ridiculous claims or shed light on what's going on in the Seattle Bears locker room or the happenings of the many charities that we're involved with. It USED to be very fun, but now I don't know. I'm going to make a transition to something like a podcast for the news I want to deliver." Greene's presence in the newspaper has been felt ever since it was reported that he drunkenly played a game in a full bear costume. His unique writing style will be missed, but he says that fans shouldn't be disappointed. "I come across better with my voice; I'm actually a good speaker and prefer talking as a means of communication. Look forward to the podcast, folks!"

Word has come out recently that Seattle Bears center Scott Greene and Vancouver Wolves goalie Jimmy Spyro might be working together on a podcast. The latest news is that the two are very excited to begin working on bringing their broadcasting talents to a new podcast news show on VHL Radio. We reached out to Greene for a comment. "Yeah, well, I first met Jimmy last season because I keep up with all the old Mississauga players and have kinda tried to help them out, whether I was in management or not," said Greene. "It was a pleasure every time I spoke with him, and so we decided that we should do something together. Since, being bitter rivals, we can't play WITH each other, we figured we should do something other than that, like a podcast. I, for one, am extremely excited." Within the next month or so, expect Spyro and Greene to release the first episode of their planned weekly podcast.
