What I think could make some fun 5 uncapped TPE tasks I think there should be some more 5 point TPE tasks that aren’t related to your player. Here are some quick ideas, each one can be completed once a career or season I don’t know this will never be implemented 1. Player recap – Recap a player who is more than 20 seasons old, talk about why they were successful what role they played on their respective teams. As well as potential reasons they are not as big of a name as they could have been. This player is not allowed to be in the HoF as they already have articles. 2. GM recap – Talk about a retired GM or one who has moved to a different team, talk about their successful and non-successful trades as well as some of their biggest gems and bust draft picks. Do you think that this GM was successful during their time or not? 3. Member spotlight – Talk about your favourite member and why they deserve the praise they do. What do they do behind the scenes and why are they a great person to chat to. Well this is some of my ideas let me know what you think!

I revamp the whole TPE earning System I have nothing better to write about and in before Beketov comes in and tells me how none of this will work and it is a horrible idea. So, there is still a 12 TPE cap and there is a maximum of 6 TPE for minor point tasks, I also have not changed the Major Point tasks. These are still Media Spot, Podcast and Graphic, and the Pension/Welfare option. This is my first change It will be what I call the Major+ point tasks, you can complete a Media Spot and if it is 700-1000 words you can claim the bonus words as a .com article. So instead of writing 500 words on a media spot and 300 on a vhl.com article you can combine the two and get 8 TPE for a 700-word article. If you use this method, you are not able to multiclaim weeks. So if you choose this you get the 8 TPE and next week you need to write something else. This works for both podcasts and media spots. With regards to graphics if your signature contains 2 or more players you can claim it as an 8-point graphic. Currently we have the following minor point tasks 1. VHL.com 2. Trivia 3. Press Conference 4. Reviewing 5. Game Reviews I like the first 2 where they are currently, I would redo Press Conference and update Reviewing and Game Reviews Press Conference would get changed to an interview, where two people complete a 200 word interview and both people get the TPE, hopefully this provides more in depth questions and answers. Reviewing I would change so instead of just a score out of 10- you give three likes and three areas of improvement. Plus you can do up to three reviews a week but they must be on different types of Major point tasks i.e 1 for media spot, 1 on graphics and one on podcasts. Game reviews are good as they are but I would like the person doing it to give a player of the match award and why they deserve it. Yes I know most people will give it to the first star but I like the idea of recognising the stars more. Plus if they disagree it would be a more interesting read. Lastly, we have the career point tasks here is what I think they should be now. 1. Life before VHL 2. Rookie Profile 3. Draft Board Prediction 4. Career Summary Life before VHL covers the journey from being a small kid to making it to the VHL. This can include any amount of personal facts as well as how they learned to play hockey and what made them want to go to the VHL. Essentially the backstory to the player. Rookie Profile discuss what makes your player tick why they are good and where their weaknesses on the ice are. This should be completed after their first season. Draft Board Prediction go through and analyse your player and where you think they should be ranked in the upcoming draft. If the draft has already occurred after one or more seasons you can do a redraft and explain with hindsight where you should have been picked. Career Summary you can talk about your previous player and write a HoF-esque article about that player rating your awards triumphs and what you should have done differently if you had another chance.

Rules for the VHL.com podcast tournament 1. Submission the podcast must be submitted for the week ending 25 October. 2. Length the podcast must be between 5-10 minutes long 3. Password the podcast must include a personal password that people need to quote when they rate your podcast. 4. Themes there is no specific theme but there are multiple catalogories 5. Catagories they are, humour, editing, informative and overall. 6. Winners there will be a gold silver and bronze medal awarded to each catagory. 7. Rating anyone can rate a podcast apart from the persons appearing on the podcast you can vote for other people's podcast. 8. Ratings if you review all podcasts possible your ratings will count for double. If you have any other ideas or would like any clarification on the ruleset please post below. Due to another busy week I have forgotten to do a media spot. So let us crank one out quickly so we can all get on with our days. Probably not very interesting reading this one. I plan on bringing back the podcast tournament I think there are quite a few podcasts going around at the moment so it should be fun. I was thinking of making it a .com that way it's more accessible for listeners and get more people making a podcast. Murray has got off to another decent start this season at the time writing is tied second in assists. As someone in their second season I believe he has a lot of potential it just depends if he keeps improving or not. Recently I did podcast intros as a .com podcast which then saw most podcasters complete the same thing. It was a lot of fun to complete and to listen to others. As I am the podcast trend setter I will be thinking up the next trend I think I have an idea. It will be doing a podcast with someone not in the VHL I think if she lets me my fiancee might be my volunteer. I am thinking about (and have talked to the two of them) doing a podcast with the new VHLM commissioners. I will probably send out a private message to all the vhlm general managers but if anyone else has any questions and or comments and or suggestions please let me know and I will compile a list of what to talk about. Callum Murray could be my last player I don't really have any ideas for my next player and I usually always have a plan. I turned my discord notifications off one day to stop them from appearing every thirty seconds and I must admit I didn't miss it that much. I'm sorry to Bana who was actually trying to have a conversation with me and I kinda took a long time to reply. If the one and a half Aussies podcast made a return is there anything that you would want to listen to. What are most people's favourite segments and what do people want us to never do again. I loved doing podcasts with boot it was great to have catch ups with him and the hours flew by. Usually with me going to bed hours after I planned. I would like to get guests with him as I think the two of us bring different point of views to guests and it makes it more enjoyable. Is there anyone or anything you all miss from the league. I personally think that some of the great media spot series would be fun to re read. Like the FBI investigation that dmax wrote about. I am quite enjoying the hall of very good from Gustav and Taggers ranking of all portal players is a great read when ever I see it. Choose your own adventure VHL style Part 1: Hi and welcome to the VHL my name is Berocka and think of me as your spiritual guidance throughout the treacherous lands that is known as the Victory Hockey League. Everyone here is after one thing and that is glory whether it through personal or group based silverware. Your first step is to chose your player Part A for Forward Part B for Defence Part C for Goalie Part A: You want to be a goal scorer I see. Well unfortunately, you get placed on a team that already has massive two front lines and you see very minimal ice time. You score only 3 goals with 4 assists in your first season. You have three options now. Part A1 you stick with it Part A2 you swap position Part A3 you ask for a trade Part A1: With all the rookies coming up you don't even see any ice time, you have all this contract money with no chance of playing you end up dying from an overdose as you party to much now. Part A2: Well that was a dumb move you are even worse at this position you get bought out and end up coaching the under 10 team and the occasional person sometimes recognises you on the street. Your life is pretty miserable now. Part A3: You get traded to the worst team on the league. You are getting 20 minutes a game and you are the leading goal scorer for your team with 18 goals. Unfortunately you get injured trying to do so much and you never play again. Part B: You are a defender and get placed on the worst team, unfortunately with all these shots coming at you and your goalie being a complete seive you try and block some shots. With a few too many pucks to the head you have to give up the VHL due to too many concussions. Hopefully you'll be able to remember your name in the future. Part You picked a dumb position that is oversaturated unfortunately you do not see any ice time and die, because welfare without a contract means you can't afford housing, food and medical bills.

Scene opens on a black stage, there is just one spotlight shining on a silhouetted character. That Character seems furry and bigger than a person but is standing up like a person would. They break into song. The other day I met a bear plays The bear sings this song The spotlight dims and the lights raise revealing a man in a bear suit on stage. He exclaims “Welcome to the Seattle Bears musical I am your MC for the evening Banackock enjoy the show” The bear walks over to a desk and sits down, he lifts up a laptop screen and the screen illuminates his face he starts singing Plans by Birds of Tokyo. It appears that he is doing some serious planning for a future event. The song finishes and he closes the laptop the alarm clock is illuminated in the background showing the time as 12 past 3 AM. The curtains raise and behind reveals the set. It is a VHL draft day set and the bear man is sitting at a table, there are 9 other tables with other characters. The song I choose you by Sara Bareilles plays and Banackock sings it. Whilst the song plays there are players wearing numbered jerseys walking to each of the 12 tables. With the following numbered players sitting with the bear, 2,5,7,11,13,15,17,20. The players and the bear all get up and leave on stage right. The curtain drops and when it raises again the 8 players are surrounded by some other players who all look a bit older, they look like they have been around this place before and the 8 players we saw before seem nervous. The set appears to be a locker room where the players are all sitting around in various stages of getting dressed into their uniforms. The bear from earlier enters stage left through a doorway and sings the hit song from Mulan “I will make a man out of you.” The lights go out, and when they return the players are battered and bruised, they are visibly upset. Player number 2, the goalie starts singing Laura Marling’s Next Time. It appears it is the end of the season and they haven’t performed as well as they originally hoped. The curtain closes. It is now intermission, a voice is heard after 10 minutes saying welcome to the new members. Out comes a dancing dragon and a purple man. They dance around for about 5 minutes and then the curtain raises. It is the players we have been following the whole time. Out comes player number 13 and sings DJ Khaled, this is my year. The players leave as the song is ending, once the song ends the players enter the room again and they are all happily jumping and they sing as a chorus another DJ Khaled song this time it is All I do is win. The curtain closes, and reopens on the changing room however this time it looks a bit different, the players we usually see are no longer there. This time their uniforms are more of a green colour. They all start singing in unison we are going on a bear hunt. They all seem excited and they walk out of the door stage right. The lights dim, we hear the sounds of what seems to be a game being played there is some noise of physical violence. We start to hear cheering and players start singing we are the champions by Queen. The lights are still dark we do not know who has won. Then a single spotlight appears on a cup a shiny silver cup and then a silhouette of a bear lifts the cup. The curtain falls and that is a wrap on the musical.
