Review: I like the design. It's really a simple yet effective approach. I like the consistency of the blue throughout this graphic. In my opinion it would look much better if it were simply larger, filling the dead space of the background. A very light texture to the background would be a plus as well. Overall I like it. Keep them coming. 8/10

I pulled the sunglasses off a Tom Cruz picture I found. Thanks for the comment.

Here comes that last of the season. I hope the playoffs are more exciting than the season has been. I know Seattle seems to do well in the playoffs and we will make it. I think that was the only goal we had during the season was to be a playoff team. I didn't think we were going to have any issues with making the playoffs despite the much more competitive teams we are playing against. Let's see if our playoff mojo is intact. On with the thorn in my side all season. I will admit there was an issue that was being exploited with the skill system we had. Something had to be changed, I agree with that part. What has become clear to me now is that the value of a single TPE is very low. Now that my player has skills in the 80's, it has become clear that it takes a boat load of TPE to get one skill level. This has kind of turned me off a bit as it seems to be too convoluted of a system. This is only my opinion and I haven't had any debates about my thoughts but I would have thought that just making the starting passing skill set to 65 would have fixed the exploit, maybe. Or move the “Sliders” to make skills have more or less impact. That might be too obviously easy and I am sure there was a reason for going this route. I am personally not impressed with it. Seems like when you will finally get enough TPE to get some skills higher, you will enter into your regression. Oh well, life in the VHL.

Review: Not bad for a starter. Clean renders are always a good thing. Nice collar patch. The only thing that is way obvious is the background texture is a bit weak and appears to be a big dead space. A lighting source would be a big help here. Overall, good for trying. 7/10

Review: I always like a sig that doesn't look like all the other sigs on the forum. Great design and hat's off for doing something different. Everything looks like it works with this graphic. Great way to make a multi-render sig in more of an artistic way. Huge fan of outside the box designs. 10/10 -

Are you paying attention to any sports right now? If so, which and how is it going etc? I follow F1. I like Ferrari. It's like following the Kings in the NHL. 30. Seattle is still hanging in there. Near the top of the conference but clearly showing a few weaknesses. It's not a bad thing to go from a very dominate team to one fighting hard every game. We have a lot of motivation in the locker room and a “Can Do” attitude. We are reaching our expectations for this season and that's what matters. Not to mention the impressive play from the other teams in our conference. There were only a couple of teams last season with a winning record, now they are all playing good hockey, well most of them. So the competition is stronger, Moscow is legit. Seattle needs to do it's thing in the playoffs. A simple strategy that looks good on paper. Is it wishful thinking or do we have the pedigree to back it up. Well I think most teams in the league would have to be worried about playing us in the playoffs. Let's see what we do in the last part of the season and see if we can set ourselves up for success. I believe in the leadership and my fellow team mates that we will succeed. GO BEARS!!!

1. We're hot! Who has been our MVP recently? Unless there is a player scoring a ton of unassisted goals, I would say the whole team is and MVP. 2. Where do you see us finishing in the standings? With a good push, higher than you are now. 3. Tough 2 losses to mexico city, what was the difference? Flukey games. I wouldn't take much from those. 4. What kind of build are you going for with your player? Checking/scoring/defensive defenseman. 5. Favorite junk meal? Hot'N Spicey from Mickey D's. 6. If the 50 states were in a fight, who wins? The one with the most ammo. Pick just about any state that isn't on the left or right coast.

Review: Impressive graphic with a very appealing design. Background blending really makes this project stand out. You did a great job with the text. It really brings all your elements together and gives it a very quality look. I would say the NHL collar branding should have been removed. Love the design. 9/10

Review: Nice clean graphic. Clear detailed renders with good branding swaps. Interesting background but seems to work with this design. Multi render graphics are hard to pull off but I think you did a fine job here. Text is a bit plain but not bad looking. Good effort. 9/10

We are at the halfway mark in the season and it appears that the cream is floating to the top in each conference. Seattle has found some rhythm and are looking to put things together for yet another deep playoff run. Was there ever a doubt? Moscow is on form and looks to position themselves at the top. Could there be a re-match of last season in the brewing? I would look forward to that. Main goal now is to make the playoffs. I know that is stating the obvious but Seattle is surrounded by several strong teams this season. It will be a challenge that we all welcome. Good teams seem to always find a way to succeed. Moscow also has a few teams that are in striking range so you just never know how the rest of the season will unfold. “ If you ain't first you are last” only applies to Ricky Bobby. Making the playoffs at any spot is the main drive for all the teams involved. Stay safe and good luck to everyone in the league.

New York Americans Press Conference Questions
Steve replied to STZ's topic in Team Press Conferences
1). What is your favorite memory of @MexicanCow123? I have no memories of him. I also don't know what I had for breakfast. 2). You are in a room alone for 15 minutes and cannot speak or look at your phone, otherwise you will get tazed. Could you do it? You guys have phones? Lucky 3). Are you more of a sweet or salty person? I am more sweet and sour than sweet or salty. 4). Which VHLE franchise logo would you re-brand (NOT relocate) with a new logo and color scheme? I think the one with the boat could be made better. 5). Do you know how to salsa dance? Would you want to learn how to salsa dance? I know nothing about dancing with salsa but I really enjoy eating salsa with chips. 6). Is @JardyB10 actually a sleeper agent waiting until activated in Alberta? You know, I bet he is. -
Review: I like this graphic for a couple of reasons. You de-badged the render, which is a big thing in my ratings. Logo swap isn't bad and shows you put some effort into this project. I think if you worked on a proper format your graphic would have more balance. Render is a bit choppy around parts of him but not that bad. Background isn't really helping or hurting this graphic. Text is okay but should be placed in a more balanced fashion. Good job overall. Keep up the good work. 8/10

Review: Kind of a hard one to review. I do like the feel of this design. It is simple, well formatted with the text being mostly good. I think the Euro branding steers me away from the VHL theme and that's the only issue I have with this graphic. 7/10

Well the defending champs are a bit underwhelming at this point of the season. Not that we are bad, just having some bad luck. I still think we have the nuts and bolts to be a playoff team, just going to have to make sure they are all tight before the end of the season. After a third of the season has been played, it looks like the North American Conference is the stronger conference this season. It has really gone a full one eighty. Seattle is in the middle of the pack and can easily push to the top or drop to the bottom of the teams in the running. I will bet we push hard and everything will be set for the playoffs. One thing for sure is that we have a winning attitude here in Seattle. We are all trying to make the team better. We have the legend leading the troops so all is good. Stay safe everyone and good luck.

1. If you could rename the Victory Hockey League, what would you change its name to? The Simon T hockey circus. 2. Seattle has begun using personal goal songs for goal horns! What is your players' goal song? That one song that that one rapper sang with Billy Ray Cyrus. 3. If you had to make a new award for the VHL, what would the award be? Best player that has never held any position in management. The Blue Collar Trophy. 4. Should the Seattle Bears rename themselves as the Seattle Bananas not only because its funny but as a homage to Bana? I think that would be better than his last name. 5. The VHL decides it needs a gimmick. Would you prefer bigger rinks to play on or smaller rinks? Smaller rink. Everything looks bigger. 6. If the Bears had a team goal song, what song would you want to blast after every tally? That one song that some rapper sang with Billy Ray Cyrus.

Review: Interesting design. I like most of what you have done here. Render looks well placed with this background. Lack of logo is a bit of a bummer along with the shoulder patches still intact. I think the detail of the render is really good for being a lower resolution image it appears to be. Nice text. Simple and placed in the sweet spot. Overall you made a really good graphic. 9/10
