1. After 450+ days Boubabi was unbanned, whats youre opinion on this? I previously stated I would stay out of the vote for the simple fact I was not a part of the league when the previous infractions occurred and couldn't possibly gain sufficient knowledge to make an informed decision on the matter without any interaction with Boubabi. Now as far as I'm concerned he's just like any other member. 2. Playoffs start tommorow and were against LVA (I think), how easy will this be? The numbers favor us but you never know anything can happen that's why we play the game. Having played there I feel good about our chances. 3. Now that we are 1st confirmed. Do you think the path to victory is easy or hard. Nothing is easy especially winning. If it ever becomes easy the victory losses some of it's sweetness. 4. Who is your ideal team to face in the finals. Las Vegas. Oh wait that's not possible so...maybe San Diego. Which ever team we have the best chances against is the ideal opponent. 5. Faces in the Crowd -Molly O'Brian The VHL draft is coming up soon and we take the opportunity to check in with our VHLM Ottawa Lynx defenseman Finnegan MacBurn on his feelings about the possibility of being drafted to an expansion club. I love the idea of being drafted into the VHL in general. Now with that qualifier out of the way. I feel I have really embraced Ottawa as my home as soon as I was traded here. I invested in the local economy (please buy some maple syrup), supported the arts scene, and volunteered time at our local hospital. I made it a part of my life journey and feel fortunate for the people it brought into my life. I always say time and attention are the only life currency we have to spend. I feel Ottawa was a good investment, but life as a VHL prospect means I hopefully will be drafted soon. The fact that it could be to an expansion team in their inaugural season would be historic which is very exciting. I like the idea that an organization is willing to take the risk of choosing me as a building block for the future and envisions me as a good asset to grow with. If I get drafted by an expansion team there are no shoes to fill or historic comparables, it instantly relieves some of the pressure to perform that I have a tendency to put on myself. I would prefer this scenario but it is out of my hands. The draft can be a fickle mistress. I will say that no matter where I end up, I will embrace my time there and make the most of it, that much is in my control. VHL Season 68 Expansion The VHL has recently announced that it will expand. Not just by one team but two glorious teams will be joining the illustrious ranks of the Victory Hockey League. What does that mean for us? You may be asking yourself. It means my friends that it's time for rampant speculation on where these two new teams will be located! Now a traditional viewpoint would suggest that one North American team and one European team would be added to their respective conferences. That may be the easiest set up to wrap our minds around and quickly organize. I believe a double expansion is indicative of a new age dawning upon the VHL and the time is ripe for breaking with the traditional conference lines. I think the league could benefit from a little shake up, not a major one mind you, and my list of locales takes that into account while trying to also present solid options for those of the league who would like to stick closer to the status quo. European options would predominantly fall into the more conservative of the choices. Here are a few locations that I believe could be solid options to add into the league. Belfast- Northern Ireland's capital city and birthplace of the Titanic. Don't let that fact scare you off. Warsaw- The capital of Poland has a mermaid monument at it's center despite it's landlocked status. Confusing or intriguing you decide. Prague- Capital of the Czech Republic has the beautiful Charles Bridge spanning the Vltava river. I know first hand how beautiful this city is. The Americas are where I start to present some locations that are a little off the map. Yes the choice of Americas as opposed to "North" America was intentional. Oakland- A part of the San Francisco Bay area and the silicon valley. A hot spot of technology is a very appropriate choice to carry the league into the future. New Orleans- The big easy is known for its music, cuisine, and festive atmosphere. It just screams fun, even if it isn't a traditional hockey market. Rio de Janeiro- Speaking of festive Rio is home to the largest Carnival festival in the world. Home to the 2016 summer Olympics and quite possibly a VHL expansion team. Locations based outside of the Americas or Europe are the biggest stretch when it comes to expansion but tap into markets where growth could be the highest due to that exact same factor. Tokyo- Japan's capital brings an intriguing mix of rich history and ultra modern influences to every aspect of life. Giving an expansion team options on which direction to go and which conference they could shuffle into. Hong Kong- A portion of China that was ceded to the British in 1842 with the Treaty of Nanking after the first opium war. A territory that tends to be a little different than it's parental country. An interesting place for a VHL expansion team. Sydney- One of Australia's largest cities is known more for its seaside tourism than anything else. I know most of these locations won't be at the top of the leagues list. I would like to point out that a large portion of these locations are major population centers. It could be a breath of fresh air to have some locations further from the north pole. I mean modern technology has allowed teams to thrive in places like Mexico. Why not push the boundaries further? Rage Against the Machine- Bulls on Parade It's a great song to get everyone hyped and I don't score very often so I want the song to be impactful. 2. What song can the team use when they win. Jimmy Hendricks- Voodoo Chile/Child I'm not giving any explanation just go listen. 3. Once you come up to the VHL are you scared of fight leader Hulk Hogan who is currently 4-1-6. No I don't fight. I rely on the rules and my lawyers to keep me safe. 4. We are now crowned #1 in the league, we have 1 more game than Philly but the best they can do with that one game is tie us, do you think we can hold this after being 9-1 in our past 10. Yes I think we have been neck and neck all season but this team will shine now that we are at the top of the heap. 5. Have you tried Hulk Hogan's jam, if so where's my money I've never received it. Yeah I tried it to compare to my maple syrup. I paid your agent...I did think it was strange that he insisted on being paid in silver. 6. Would you rather have 50 more points than right now, or have the brother pass. The Brother Pass, it's priceless because it's a representation of respect. If I had 50 more points in my rookie season the expectations of production would haunt my entire career even if I did well but not spectacular. I would rather focus on keeping my opponents off the score sheet without the expectations of point production.

Hey everyone sarcasm is difficult to pick up on through text and a significant percentage of your reading group has no knowledge of league or personal histories involved. It would be helpful to this group that everyone be clear when posting. Your friends on here that already know it's a joke will still get it. The rest of us in the dark need the clarification because to us yes the jokes go above our heads and that's fine if we aren't your intended audience but we read it nonetheless. I think if everyone does so we can avoid the type of confusion that has occurred on this thread. Thank you for considering my request.

1. Zeno Miniti's current ppg is 2.125, that is the best i've ever seen and is on pace for 153 points, howmuch do you think he will get. I hope a ton. I'm not sure maybe in the 150ish range that seems to be the trend in the numbers.2. Looking at your stats, howmuch do you think you will get, will you slow down or speed up. I think feeding the second and third lines the pucks is where most of my stats come from so if they speed up so will I. Hopefully I can get more shorthanded stuff on the kill.3. Whats the funnest part of the league so far. Hard to parce out to one thing. I like the chatter with the team and winning is fun.4. Any predictions where you will go in the upcoming VHL/VHLM draft. Not sure if I will have enough tpe to hit 200 before then so it depends on what teams are looking for. 3rd or 4th round maybe? I'm not sure.5. Has being on the Lynx affected your outlook on the vhl, what it be like if you were on a worse team. I was drafted by Vegas so I always hoped we would win but it made me more focused on individual performance when the team wasn't doing well. Now on the Lynx I celebrate my teammates accomplishments more like cheering on Zeno and the race to 150!6. A constant debate on vhl is team forum activity and discord activity, its believed new players like discord better and don't use the site as often, is this true? I found the team forum pretty dead when I first came in. The forums as a whole are great I'm on here all the time. I use discord to communicate with the team easily. The discord general VHL is not very useful to me although funny at times. I believe each serve a purpose and both are needed to have a full experience of what the league has to offer.

I have tried (a few days ago) to claim my VHLM contract money and it gave me a message about the store attendant approval or something. I thought the funds would be available immediately and only purchases would need approval. How long does it usually take for my contract funds to be dispersed?
