  1. I'm done, time to go to New York, fucking pathetic, I'm not 5th in league scoring. Done with this shit
  2. Wasn't it only 4 games? I swear it was longer with Mike on my wing with you. Either way I think we could benefit from a change to our line up
  3. The SIM takes a lot of factors. In shooting percentage. Which is why I'm hoping our GM makes changes. When Aspin wasn't on my line I was scoring more. Due to chemistry, Aspin doesn't seem to set us up properly, so now I'm shooting a crazy low 3.5% over recent games. Well averaging 8-9 shots a game
  4. It's become a trend, a stick a game. Sergei Komarov breaking them all, after he's gone with 9 points in his last 10 games. Not only losing, the scoring lead but allow it others to catch up. What's gone wrong? Casey Jones has caught fire again, tearing Ottawa, and Yukon up last night. It's clear the Russian has not been happy, calling out Arbin Aspin his line mate for not finishing, and setting him up in the wrong spots. He is still shooting at 9 shots a game, but he's shooting at a low 3.5% in the last 10 games. If that changes it's pretty obvious that goals will happen. The issue, is lack of a skilled line mate. That's nothing against Aspin, but he's more like Zach Hyman. A guy who has been put in a big role with a star, that just isn't skilled enough. Why it's not like Vegas lacks options, Gundson is skilled, however they are very similar players they need someone to feed them. The second line has caught a bit of fire, do you risk it? I think you do, the problem is they need to get guys going bring 2 lethal lines, when they had that they won a lot more. The Russians frustration is noticeable, costing Vegas, roughly 2000dollars a week during the cold streak. I'm sure Vegas hopes that, Komarov catches fire again because if he can Vegas will be a serious threat again. Time for change, our coach is not doing his job, he needs to wake the bleep up. I can't believe I'm playing with such an inferior player, Aspin hes a good guy, do not mistake that, but he's not a suitable line mate for me. This was translated from Russian, in an interview he did for a Vegas paper. The numbers back up his anger too, Aspin is the lowest scoring regular on the entire roster, no that's not a joke a player playing top line has 11 points playing with, A premier center, a highly skilled winger, and 2 of the best defenders. Why is the coach, and GM leaving him in a role that is only hurting the team? Why not change things, it's been a very frustrating point for both Birk, and Sergei. Kenzie, Lazarus, heck even Clyne deserve a shot to play with the top dogs in Vegas. It's an open call out to the GM, it's a plea. From a frustrated star, who wants to help his team win and feels this, set up is not going to bring them a title. Will Vegas listen, are changed incoming? We will see in the next few days, as the line up likely won't see a move today with games likely just around the corner. @Tagger @punkhippie
  5. Def need someone to play with we've just stopped going. Aspin is active but only abit
  6. @Spade18 Colton Rayne is a hulking defensemen from New Jersey, USA. He prides himself on great work ethic, and his ability to defend his own zone. He has a crisp first pass, and despite some flaws in his skating ability, he has shown improvement over the year. He projects to be more of a defensive defender than a guy who will rack up the points. That being said his work ethic is barely matched, in his groups he easily stands out, which many figure means he could be much better than he is now. For a big boy though he does leave some to be desired, he doesn't throw his weight around, and his strength is fairly low. However, these are teachable skills his other talents aren't, his vision in his own zone is almost unparalleled to most his age. It's a skill GMs covet, not one that can be taught over time. We project him to sit anywhere from late first, too the early second. Whoever lands him will, have a diamond in the rough in our personal opinion.
  7. Too be fair I would have drafted moon, but he came and asked me not to draft him. So I went with Mistake
  8. Good luck with that, no one wanted to let me move tiny city in Swiss alps. To Russian city with 100x it's population lol.
  9. You take the points I'll take the wins and cup
  10. My wins to lose ratio against you suggest otherwise
  11. It's gonna be interesting. I've been shooting at a 5% rate in my last 10 games. Which led to him taking over, I suspect that won't last I shoot far too much(9SOG per game). Either way I suspect it'll be me him and Snow most of the year fighting for top dog. Jones, Keller having an outside shot
  12. Nope I'm not number 1, I'm trash shit the bed I give up. I was actually having fun with a player till he just stopped doing anything :/
  13. @Tagger time to pull @Sullvino to the first line I've shit the bed. This is pathetic
  14. Yep technically they control you for 3 seasons unless your traded
  15. At least Jones stepped up Komarov MIA today's sim
  16. 20 seasons searched, only 1 player meets near the criteria. His name Asher Donovan in season 49. Stat and his position. Goals: 1st Assists: 1st Points: 1st Shots: 3rd FO% N/A PP20: 1st Plus/Minus: 2nd PIMS: 5th Hits: 4th PPG: N/A GWG: 2nd SHG: 5th Fights: N/A ICETIME: 27:64 Rather impressive season for sure. Easily one of the best ever. Currently Sergei Komarov is on pace to surpass it. Goals: 1st Assists: 7th Points: 1st Shots: 1st FO% 1st PP20: 1st Plus/Minus: 1st PIMS: 3rd Hits: 2nd PPG: 4th GWG: 2nd SHG: N/A Fights: 1st ICETIME: 27:20. Outside of assists, which is low though not shocking. Even Donovan would not lead the league in assists this season. Sergei has better stats in every category, minus shorthanded goals.Currently Sergei is on pace for 160 points, Donovan finished with 144 points. The Aces have been a driving force this season Komarov, is a big part of it. The hope is as the season progresses, Komarov can not only maintain his current pace, but improve infact untill last SIM Komarov was higher, in a few catergories. There are 72 games in the season, lots of time to blow up. However i can say this with certianty, ive never enjoyed a player more since my first Komarov. My hope is he can finish the season, on a high note and take home more than a few awards. Though at the end of the day the end goal is to win a cup with Vegas, and hopefully go on to help the Americans get back on top. However, im not just impressed by how well ive been doing. What amazes me is the turn around. Even if the season ended now, id finish triple my point total. Im on pace to finish, 145 points above what i did last season. I have been putting in work, it was frustating not to see results now i am and im high on life right now. I want Sergei to be my best ever, that was not a joke. If i can carry over this momentum, onto my VHL career it really wont be very hard too top Vladimir Komarov he never reached his full potential. The Aces are currently one of the top two teams, in the VHLM right now. Sergei is quick to quote his chemistry with defensemen Casey Jones, and Birk Gundson. They are both top players in the VHLM, the chemistry they have has helped him reach the top of the pack at this point in the season. The Aces have, high hopes and a crop of rather impressive rookies. The hope is with the development of the crop, the Aces can get over the hump and win their second title in 3 seasons. It would be the Komarov familys first, title ever.
  17. Is Tabootie active i swear hes our one inactive. The bigger props is to @TheLastOlympian07 who came through finally
  18. Which of the new blood has impressed you the most on Vegas? End goal for Casey Jones outside of playing on 1 team his whole career? HOF, mulitiole awards, cup rings? Best player on Vegas outside of Komarov and Jones?.
  19. @Sullvino Coming into the season Rask Rowe, and Sergei Komarov were expected top 2 Cs. However Calder O'Callahan made Rask Rowe expendable. The product of the USA, came in an his work ethic outmatched Rowes. Giving him a shot at top 6 to start. It has worked out well with Vegas being one of the top teams. Callahan has been a very vocal new blood to the team. His two biggest strengths to this point are his shot, and his smooth stride. He is argueably one of the fasteSt skaters in the VHLM. His shot may be far from perfected yet, but it certianly can be lethal. Early in the season he was converting on crazy high shooting percentage. Its unclear where this center falls in the draft, he can go late first, too second round. The draft is so close together at this point, however the team that drafts him can expect a very talented center who could have a talented career.
