Noteworthy: New Quebec GM doesn't plan on selling the farm. 

He has a record of 2-8-0, putting him behind two career backup goalies on the wins list.  His goals against average is good for eighth in the league of ten teams.He has spent four of fourteen games on the bench.
 
Why, then, is Brock Waldron being touted as a possible Rookie of the Year?
 
Because he's good.
 
In the ten games Waldron has played, although his team has only won two, Waldron is giving an exciting preview of things to come.  His save percentage of 0.929 is good for first place in the entire VHL by a significant margin.  His Quebec squad is largely considered the worst team in the entire VHL, yet night after night he keeps them alive, and all that despite having only one good defender, Niklas Valiq, on the blueline in front of him.
 
He will only get better with time, and his team will obviously also improve, but if the start of this season is to be believed then Brock Waldron is going to move himself into the upper echelon of VHL stars very soon.

Hey everyone.  I was a real clusterfuck in the off-season, and thus didn't really move anyone's LR permissions around.  Higgins might have.  All the same, I don't really know who goes to and from where.
 
I guess what I'm trying to say is, if you're on a VHL or VHLM team (or a part of their franchise.  So if you were drafted by Davos but are playing with Minot in the VHLM, you should be in both Davos and Minot's LR), and can't see their locker room at the bottom of the main board, post in here.  I'll hook you up.

After sitting out the first two games to properly acclimate himself to the VHL and its ways, Quebec City Meute goaltender Brock Waldron made his debut in the team's third game of the season, a road tilt in Latvia against the Riga Reign.
 
It started off well enough, with little action through the first few minutes.  Waldron's first VHL save came at the 5:58 mark of the first period, and was quickly followed by two more, both saves that were covered up.  His fourth save resulted in a rebound, however, and he soon found out what he should expect to see for the rest of this season.
 
Three goals in the final 12 minutes sealed Quebec's fate, even if they did manage to get within a goal late in the second period.  They were outshot 48-15, resulting in a somewhat-impressive 43 saves for Waldron's first go-round.  Quebec's next game was against also-lowly Toronto, which allowed Waldron to record the first of what should be many wins in the coming seasons...eventually.
