  1. Ah, sorry fellas... John Madden Jagger Philliefan @FBR
  2. Ah, damn, understandable. Sorry about not getting back to you. I know that can be a pain in the bunz.
  3. 1. Yeah, definitely. Coming from a VHLM expansion squad really helped to bring the guys together, hoping for more of the same here. 2. Gotta keep grinding, stack that TPE. Up my offensive game and try to retain the VHL fight title by keeping my undefeated fighting streak alive. 3. Stoked that we got Grimaldi. The GM definitely has an eye for talent with that pickup, he was always solid for us San Diego, with any shortcomings stemming from our inability to stay out of the box. Excited to see what he does at the next level. 4. Absolutely. Almost like a cyberpunk color scheme wuth a black backdrop. 5. All I can guarantee is that I'll do my best to out hit them. 6. I like where we're headed with the roster we have, but always open to new additions that can produce.
  4. Gert B. Frobe Defenseman Hits - 175/30 = 5.8 Fights - 3x2 = 6 5.8 + 6 + 3 = 15TPE
  5. 1. No contact, but also, no preference on where to go... I'll go wherever the wind takes me. 3. None, but she sounds like a lovely lass. 4. Not at all, but Alt Logos are always fun. Maybe retool a bit for an alternate jersey, but keep it as it is. 5. Are there any other sports? I mean besides Euro Tram Operator contests. 6. Moist. Moist is a feeling, right? 8. The Blades. Only because that was The San Jose Sharks original fan voted name and I'd really like to get any free merchandise they have lying around.
  6. 1. I'd have to go with F, because you can still hit people, but usually you can follow it up with some more points. 3. I might be biased, but Chad Gilbert. Dude came in the league late but hasn't stopped dominating the faceoff circle since he got here. A force to reckoned with on the dots. 4. There's gonna be movement ahead of us and below us, but I think we're cemented in exactly where we need to be. 6. Sharks. Lived in the bay area when they formed, fell off with them for a bit, but been a huge fan ever since I sort of rediscovered hockey. 7. Sharks. I have no logic, reason, or stats to back that up. Hell, I barely have hope. But after the last few seasons, WHY NOT? 10. Pass. I barely have enough time for my family, I don't need to add an alien pet to the mix.
  7. Calgary Toronto Malmo Moscow
  8. 2. To be honest, I was promised orange slices at the end of each practice and the fact that you guys haven't provided them is both problematic and worrying. I've had to go to the store after every praccy just to buy my own oranges and slices them up at home like a peasant. FIGURE IT OUT. 3. While Griffin's come into the team and definitely led an offensive boost in our game, I gotta give it up to the man in the net, Grimaldi. He's consistently stepping up his game, even notching shutouts in 2 of his last 5 while almost getting that 3rd shutty in a 1-0 loss in OT. Absolutely on one, especially after a shaky start. 5. I think the Discord activity definitely takes away from site usage, mainly because there's almost no reason to use the clubhouse when I have a direct line to my team/GMs. Outside of that, you lose side traffic that you might gain from people browsing the clubhouse and then take a gander at recent activity. BUT... I like the discord set up for ease of use muuuuuch better. 7. San Diego or bust. 9. Absolutely. It's going to be a slow grind, but we'll get there, a couple points at a time, hopefully. 10. I start every game day with a glass of 1 dozen raw eggs that I use to wash down my protein powder scoop that I ingest dry. Head the rink, throw up in my car usually, but I don't think that's related to the egg consumption. Probably just get car sick. Get to the rink, run a couple quik sessions of five finger filet in the trainer's office, then get ready to get my pads on, listening to the playlist "10 Hours of Darude - Sandstorm" while taping up. Strap on the helmet, head butt each member of the Defense for extra hype. Skate on to the ice, make eye contact with a member of the other team and don't break it for all of warm ups. My first check will always be on that player, regardless of puck possession.
  9. I have no idea what's happening, but unban the guy.... ....then re-ban after his first post, regardless of content.
  10. Seattle Riga Calgary Helsinki
  11. 1. Can and will. Our team continues to get better and everyone seems motivated to keep the building on what we've only caught glimpses of so far; A powerful squad. 5. DISCIPLINE. Apparently I can't smash people into the boards without the refs complaining about it. 6. Positive about 99% of the time. Even in the face of defeat, everyone usually takes away something positive, including point production and how close our team is to getting over the hump. 8. I'm pleased with how I've been performing lately, despite the time I've spent in the sin bin. The occasional apple is always nice, but I'm just here to introduce players faces to my friends: The Ice and my fists. 9. Doug Murray aka Crankshaft wasn't always the best player on the ice, but if he hit you... you didn't forget it. (Or you did forget it, but only because everything went black after it happened and someone showed you the replay later.) 10. Sheet metal. Really cleans out your system before a game. Apparently I have a lot of blood in my system, so that helps to get it out.
