  1. Bek is away, this is now a Spider-Man simulation league

  2. Oh we can't name players after rainbows now?? This league is so fucking soft
  3. 1. The team has been one of many streaks this season, our most recent being four losses. What do we need to do to turn that around? I would suggest scoring more goals, letting fewer goals in and just in general playing better hockey. Please pass this feedback to rory. 2. Which team's position in the standings (could be any one of the three leagues) are you most surprised about this season, and why? Helsinki, I think we are one of those teams where on paper you go "hey these guys are pretty good" but we are apparently not very good actually. 3. Having gone through half a season so far, do you think the contraction to six teams was a positive change? Yeah I think the league looks to be in a more competitive place now. 4. Who would be your early pick for MVP of bratislava so far, and why? I will echo the goalie tandem keeping the team in a competitive spot. 5. Do you have anything special in your locker in the dressing room besides hockey equipment? Nope, i keep it simple and clean. 6. Which city that hasn't seen a franchise among all of the VHL leagues would you like to see get a team? Not sure I care enough about a city to be like "hey this place should get a team" but i guess something like St Louis maybe?
  4. 1. We are about 1/3rd of the way into the season. Is your player performing how you expected them to? A little below expectations, I thought for sure this would end up being a point per game season, but currently coming up short on that. 2. Our goaler Jonny Elgar leads the league in save percentage and goals against. How important is an elite goaltender to the team's success? I think a great goalie is huge for a team. No other one person can take over a game the way they can. 3. If you could be any animal, which one would you be and why? I don't know, maybe a corgi? Everyone loves corgis. 4. If you were stuck at burning man, what lengths would you go to to survive? All of the lengths, I am getting the heck out of their. 5. Are you a beach and ocean type person, or more of a woods and lake type person? I would describe myself as more of a woods and lake person. 6. What is your favourite nostalgic media to consume? Probably like old youtube videos from an earlier part of life.
  5. 1. The Titans are off to a strong start this season, how do you feel about the run so far? Well, im not sure its been strong looking at the standings. We are really not playing well against the top teams. Hopefully some line shakeups will help us get to the top. 2. Do you think the Titans can maintain consistency and avoid a fall-off similar to last season across the entire schedule? Well certainly we are not doing that right now. We started off super hot with a huge blowout, it would be nice to recapture that energy. 3. Which player do you think has been the most crucial to Helsinki’s season so far! Chip Stone, guy is just point up points like crazy. 4. Do you feel like there are any holes roster wise anywhere in the team, and if so how do you expect management to fill them? I think the roster is overall pretty solid, we just need to figure out what lines gel together. 5. Do you agree with the statement “A goal stopped is essentially a goal scored!” I've never heard that, not sure I agree, its a strange way to think about the game. 6. Who is your favorite “4th liner” in the NHL? (A player with low production, maybe a fan favorite or something) Not sure, I don't always pay attention to the specific lineups.
  6. 1. How do you feel about the selections Helsinki made in the VHL entry draft this season? The picks were extremely *chef's kiss*. I think GM Sam did a great job. 2. With the offseason full go, do you think Helsinki should remain active in the trade market? I think the biggest decision would be to either shop for a D man or to bring up Oven. 3. What are your plans during the offseason? Resting mentally and physically to prepare for another long season. 4. Do you feel like your player has improved this offseason enough to make a difference for their team? As of writing this I have 62 TPE banked currently, I am waiting until just before the season starts to spend all my unspent. I think there will be some definite gains with this. 5. Whats your least favorite thing about the offseason? I honestly just enjoy a bit of a break, I tend to take a step back from the league a bit to recharge. 6. Finally, do you believe Helsinki has made enough moves this offseason to become a competitive team? I think we are definitely going to make playoffs this season.
  7. 1) How do you feel about Sam as the new GM of Helsinki? Sam is a great member of the community, and a former AGM of Helsinki, I think she will do great. 2) What plans do you have for your player in the offseason I like to bank up my points and then figure out what I want to do with them right before the season starts. 3) With the NHL and VHL both in offseason, how are you consuming hockey media? I'm not basically. The offseason is big chill time for me. 4) What is your favorite Rayzor moment? We had a good talk before I signed my extension with Helsinki. 5) Have you applied for any management openings across the VHL? If so, what were they? If not, do you plan to? I have not and do not plan to at any point. 6) How excited are you about Helsinki having the first overall selection in the draft? At this point we have already drafted YaBoi Oven and what can I say Helsinki is eating well right now!

I saw a DC trade and expected to see Sakamoto on the move again.
  9. any reason I'm not getting 1 TPE? @Jason kranz i filled out a couple rounds and I see there are other people who completed as many as i did
  10. 1) The offseason has started, what are your plans for your player? Just training and trying to get better, with a healthy dose of relaxation. 2) If your player had a good season, do you think they will be able to repeat or build off of this season? If they had a down or rookie year, how will you be looking to improve? I wouldn't say this season was good for me, but business picked up at the end. I am hoping to carry that momentum forward this coming season. 3) Do you expect many changes in the Helsinki roster this offseason? Hopefully we can land some free agents and a high ranked prospect. 4) What's your most played position player wise, and if you have only played one position, why do you pick it? I'm on my 3rd player and so far I have Defensemen and 1 forward. 5) What's the best cheeseburger or hamburger you’ve ever had? I have no idea, it's not something I really keep track of. 6) Would you tape or not tape your hockey stick? I'm a tape kind of guy.
  11. Simon hates him!!! Never win the cup with this one stupid trick. (The trick is be Spartan) grats David
  12. 1) With the season over, how do you feel about the season your player had? Not super great to be honest, but there was an uptick in production towards the end of the season, hopefully that continues next season. 2) If you are an upcoming free agent, do you plan on returning to Helsinki? If not, what made you sign your extension with the team? And if you have done neither, do you plan to extend? I re-signed with the team because I think the team has a good core to build around. 3) Who would you say your favorite player from the Helsinki this season was? (Other than your own) Rask, he kept us in some games while facing a lot of shots. 4) Do you think Helsinki will bounce back next season? I think we can for sure. We have a solid core and just need to bring in a few extra pieces. 5) What nation is your player from, and why? Kronchy is from the United States, because they are the youngest sibling of the Kardashian family, who live in the states. 6) What should never go on a pizza? Honestly, if you are making a pizza, put whatever you want on it, live your life.
  13. There is a category for super coach under fantasy just fyi
  14. 1) How do you feel about the hiring of the Assistant to the GM so far? It's been fine, we are getting press conferences so I am happy. 2) With Helsinki almost certainly eliminated, how are you feeling about this season? It is what it is, hopefully we can get a top draft pick to sign on and try to make progress next season. 3) What do you think are keys to turning around Helsinki’s on-ice results next season? Having a full roster would be helpful, I think if we can fill in the gaps then we will be in a decent spot to sneak into playoffs. 4) If you were to choose to be on any other team besides Helsinki, which would it be? There are a lot of teams that I'm sure it would be fun to be on. There are quite a few I haven't been on yet so I guess any of those I guess. 5) Have you ever played organized hockey in your life? Nope, I have done some roller with friends but that is it. 6) Who is your favorite Finnish hockey player if all time? Off the top of my head it would have to be Teemu Selanne, I have a Team Finland jersey with his name/number on it.
  15. 1) What's your favorite point task to do weekly, and why? I love to click that pension button! Otherwise I guess press conference because answering the questions is pretty fast and easy. 2) Looking past the down year, how do you feel about the environment in Helsiniki? Its been fine, we are not the chattiest bunch, but there is daily activity. 3) How do you feel about Helsiniki’s hiring of the Assistant to the General Manager? Can't say I know much about them, but happy to have someone helping out, especially with press conferences. 4) How do you feel about your player’s personal performance this season thus far? Can't say I have been thrilled overall, but more recently I have been doing belter, hopefully that is a trend that continues in the future. 5) What's your favorite award you’ve won in VHL, VHLE, or VHLM? If you haven’t won any, what do you hope to win? The only personal award I have won is the Jake Thunder Trophy in the E, so I guess that one is my favorite. 6) Who is your personal favorite “most underrated” NHL player? I'm not sure to be honest, I don't really think about underrated that much when it comes to players.
  16. At my previous job I was usually one of the first people in that would use the back lot. So since I had so much room and wouldn't be inconveniencing anyone I would usually back into a spot.
  17. The page I linked also mentioned White Dwarf 210 from 1997. Are you telling me you didn't read and memorize white dwarf 210??
