  2. In a season where Oskars Harumpf has been tearing up the VHLM in his quest for the most assists in league history, things may have just hit a snag. In 3 of his last 4 games, Harumpf has zero points. Granted one of those games he scored 4 points, but the other 3 he had a goose egg. This is concerning for multiple reasons. 1. It hurts Bratislava chances of winning the division and 2. It's not going to help him break the all-time assists record. Harumpf is somewhat confused at his recent performance because at no point earlier in the season has he had a stretch like this. He's always put up at least a point or two even in a bad game, evident by his 131 points in 58 games. Perhaps his minutes have been a bit off lately as he's come in under 18 minutes in numerous games recently and his average minutes per game is dropping fast. His quest for the assists crown may have been slowed by this recent stretch of games and he will have to pick up his play and stay on the ice for longer shifts if he wants to catch Adam Schultz's 145 assist number from S20.

  4. Harumpf Leading the League in Assists... By A Lot. Oskars Harumpf threads the needle past a defenseman for one of his 108 assists this season. Bratislava playmaking center Oskars Harumpf is on another level when it comes to assists this season in the VHLM. He's currently 23 assists ahead of the player with the 2nd most assists in the league, Guy Lukovski (85). Harumpf's 108 assists in 57 games is quite remarkable, especially when you think of him doing this standing just 5'5" tall. His tremendous playmaking ability has allowed teammate Sachimo Zoidberg to score 94 goals in 57 games, which is also a ridiculous number. Harumpf looks to be the clear front runner for the Oates Trophy, which is awarded to the player who leads the VHLM in Assists at the end of the season. With Harumpf being on pace for 136 assists, it poses the question, could he possibly break the all-time assists record? Currently Adam Schultz holds the record with 145 assists back in Season 20. Harumpf is not far off that pace. Let's take a look at the top 5 VHLM Assist Seasons and see how Harumpf fits in. #1: 145 Assists - Adam Schultz (S20) #2: 140 Assists - David Januzaj (S37) #3: 139 Assists - Seth Plaut - (S26) #4: 128 Assists - Mike Molholt (S24) #5: 124 Assists - Dimothenis Vlasis (S38) Some incredible seasons there and some amazing playmakers on that list. Sitting at 108 assists with 15 games to play should allow Harumpf to challenge for the #1 spot and almost surely a top 5 spot. During the season Harumpf has put up numerous 4 and 5 point games with the majority of those being assists. If not for a few strange sims lately where Harumpf had lower minutes and amazingly no points, he'd be even closer to the above totals. It's entirely possible with some good games and some luck, Oskars Harumpf could finish the season with the most assists in VHLM history. Playing with Zoidberg has given Harumpf an excellent shot at the assists title this season. He's already a lock for the Oates Trophy and now with Jody 3Moons coming to Bratislava, Harumpf should have another sniper to dish the puck to. There's been rumors of a possible Harumpf-Zoidberg-3Moons line which would put the top 3 scorers in the league together. That's scary to think about. Harumpf's assist totals would likely see a jump, but even if that trio is only together on the powerplay it should still be pretty dangerous. Harumpf is in a great position to turn in a truly special season. Even if he does not finish in the top 5 of all-time assists, he'll be remembered as one of the best playmakers in the VHLM in quite some time. He owes a lot to his teammates and hopes his play can help them not only win the division but also a cup. Bratislava should be one of the favorites heading into the playoffs and Harumpf will undoubtedly be a big piece of their cup run. If he can continue to make plays at the rate he has during the season, it will put Bratislava in a great position to hoist the cup. Harumpf has impressed many people around the league this season and we feel the best is still yet to come from the diminutive Dane. 537 Words.
  5. Feel bad for 3Moons. Harumpf vows to set him up for some goals so he can catch back up to Zoidberg in points. It doesn't matter to me who scores as long as I get the assist.

  8. With Assists! Bratislava Watchmen center Oskars Harumpf has reached the century mark in assits this season in only 52 games. 100 assists on the board and Haurmpf still has 20 games to go, it's entirely possible he could break the assists record this season. Not even sure what the record is, but he probably has a chance. Skating alongside sniper Zoidberg, he will surely continue to rack up helpers at a high rate. Coming into the season Harumpf just hoped to be a good playmaker and help his team win games, he never imagined he'd be running away with the assists title this season. He's way out in front of everyone else and has really shown his high level of skill as a playmaker this season. The diminutive center is definitely one of the most talented passers to come along in quite some time. He's helped the Watchmen to an excellent record so far this season and his projection as a future playmaking center for his VHL team the Helsinki Titans is very exciting. Keep an eye on Harumpf as the season comes to a close, we could be watching something very special.
  9. This is my submission for (10/27-11/2). Only my 2nd try at sigs/graphics, made this a few weeks ago using photoscape, just trying different things with the tools. Spent a lot of time on the background. Hopefully decent enough to get some points. I think it turned out pretty cool.

  16. Harumpf Appears on "To the Point" with Alyonka Larianov Harumpf seated alongside bombshell Alyonka on her new show airing on VHL Network. Oskars Harumpf was featured recently on To the Point, which is a show now airing on VHL Network where the incredibly hot Akyonka Larianov candidly interviews VHL and VHLM players. Obviously the players all hope to sleep with her after the show, but for this media spot let's focus on the actual interview. Alyonka: So Oskars, you've had an incredible season so far with the Bratislava Watchmen, what's been the difference for you this year compared to last? Harumpf: I think I've had a chance to get use the league and adapt my game and it's made a huge difference. Coming in last season I was a bit shell shocked and it took me a while to feel comfortable. This year I was prepared and was able to work on certain aspects of my game in the off-season so I could find success in the VHLM as a playmaker. Alyonka: Yeah you're quite the assist machine this season, 74 in 37 games is pretty incredible, did you ever think you'd put up numbers like that? Harumpf: I'm confident in my ability as a playmaker and I knew I had a chance to do something special this season with Zoidberg on my wing, but I honestly did not expect to be putting up these kind of numbers. Things have just clicked and we're playing some great hockey out there. It's been a lot of fun. Alyonka: Yes you and Zoidberg have shown incredible chemistry, some people around the league say that you are carrying him, is that true? Harumpf: Not at all, I mean I am the center so everything goes through me and all he has to really do is shoot the puck off my incredible passes, but without him burying pucks, there's no way I put up the kind of assist totals I have to this point. The guy can flat out wire it, he's a joy to play with. There's no other player in the league I'd rather have on my line. He's a beast. Alyonka: The two of you are currently in a race for the league lead in points with Jody 3Moons, what are your thoughts on him? Some say he's only up there in scoring because he centers every line for his team. Harumpf: 3Moons is a great player but in our locker room we refer to him as 4Lines, for obvious reasons (laughs). There's no question he deserves to be in the scoring race but it does help that he plays on every line and averages over 30 minutes a game. He's done awesome though and I look forward to going head to head with him on the ice and on the scoresheet. I know Zoidberg wants to finish ahead of him, I think they're buds off the ice, I'll do my best to help make that happen. Alyonka: So what about Bratislava, you guys can't seem to catch the Oslo Storm, what do you have to do to pass them in the standings? Haurmpf: We need to break Christoph Klose's clavicle and maybe run over Llyod Light's foot with a Zamboni, that'll probably do it. (laughs). Alyonka: (Laughs) you're funny, would you like to go home with me after the show? Harumpf: Hell Yeah! 500+ Words
  17. Oskars Harumpf is reminding us of those times when you create a player in a hockey video game and turn line changes off. Then you play a season and score at a such a ridiculous pace all you can do is stare at your stats in revel in their gloriousness. Well that's what's happening to Harumpf this season. He has 75 points in 33 games. I'm not great at math, but that's like a 165 point pace. He has 64 assists in those 33 games. Also ridiculous. Without knowing all the history of the VHLM and the point production over the years, I have to imagine those are some pretty remarkable numbers, especially the assist totals. It's looking like Harumpf will finish the season with over 120 assists and possibly approach 150. With his linemate Zoidberg literally scoring at will, anything can happen. Bratislava is playing some great hockey and are a top team in the league, but they have their sights set on the Storm and the division title. With as much as Harumpf has done, it's not been enough to get them into first place just yet. Still over half a season to go, expect some fireworks.

  19. Oskars Harumpf - How he's become Kind of a Big Deal! 5'5" 250 pound Harumpf looks up ice before delivering one of his 40 assists this season. Yes, the diminutive Danish playmaker is looking like a big deal in the VHLM this season for Bratislava. He's putting up points at an incredible rate and has been arguably the top center in the entire league, surely the top playmaker. Through 23 games, Harumpf has 9 goals and 40 assists for 49 points, including 11 powerplay points. He's also has a tremendous +33 rating and is over 63% in the face off circle. He's doing all this averaging 26 minutes a game and playing on just one forward line. He's currently on pace to finish the season with 28 goals and 125 assists. Needless to say with numbers like that, Harumpf should be on everyone's radar. Oh and he also has 54 hits, good for 2nd on his entire team, not bad for a 5'5" playmaking center. Let's take a closer look at Harumpf's rankings among the top players in the VHLM this season as we look at why he's become kind of a big deal. Rank Among Top Assists Makers: 1st (40) Rank Among Top Point Scorers: 5th (49pts) Rank Among Top Points per 20 Minutes: 6th (1.58) Rank Among Top +/- : 2nd (+33) Rank Among Top Face Off Winning %: 3rd (63%) Rank Among Rookie Point Scorers: 4th (49pts) Rank Among Top Point Scoring Centers: 3rd (49pts) Rank Among Top Point Scoring Centers in Hits: 1st (54) Height Compared to All Centers in the League: Last Well there you have it. Harumpf is having a phenominal season. At or near the top in virtually all categories that matter for a playmaking center and adds a physical edge on top of it that knobody expected. He's also helped his teammate and sniping winger Sachimo Zoidberg to be ranked #1 in many of above categories as well as goals scored. So Harumpf's impact goes well beyond his own numbers. His playmaking ability has allowed others on his team to be having career seasons and make their own mark in the VHLM. Zoidberg looks to be the early favorite for both the points title and the goal scoring title, as well as many others and he'd be the first to tell you that without Harumpf as his center he'd not be off to such an incredible start this season. Likewise Harumpf would not be racking up the assists without Zoidberg burying pucks, so the two are obviously are dangerous combination. Probably the most dangerous scoring duo in the entire VHLM. Other teams have one or two top players, but Bratislava boasts two of the top players in the entire league and they are perfectly matched to continue their high scoring ways over the next 49 games in regular season. God only knows what they will be doing by the time playoffs roll around. With continued improvement we could be looking at something truly special for both Bratislava and the VHLM. So watch for the diminutive Danish bowling ball Oskars Harumpf next time he comes to town. You will not want to miss seeing this unique player in action. His playmaking ability is off the charts and his chemistry with his linemates is something to behold. Not to mention he's one of the most bulbous hockey players you will ever see. Harumpf is definitely becoming a big deal in the VHLM. Bratislava fans know him well, it's time the rest of the league took notice. 566 Words.
  20. Bratislava Watchmen center Oskars Harumpf is still on fire and has just eclipsed 40 assists on the season, in 23 games played. He is up to 49 points after adding 9 goals and his goals to assists ratio is exactly where he wants it to be at a 4-1 ratio. His playmaking ability is off the charts this season and he's found ridiculous chemistry with sniping winger Sachimo Zoidberg who has 39 goals. These two are a match made in heaven. They are lighting up the league and have the Watchmen right in the thick of things in the European Conference, which is actually very competitive this season. With Harumpf dishing assists like knobody's business and Zoidberg burying pucks like he's on a video game set on beginner, there's no telling how many points these two studs will put up this season. Harumpf is on pace for 125 assists, but would be happy to just help his team win the division and eventually the championship.
