Thank you to everyone who voted for me. This award and the success of the Reapers would not have been possible without the assistance of my AGMs, @Spence King and @dariusmarimotoman , the OG Reaper herself @BladeMaiden, and of course the amazing players who made this team so special.  To my man @InstantRockstar, you will always be remembered as an all time great VHLM GM, regardless of this award. Thank you all!

That just about does it, folks! With the conclusion of this awards show, the 75th season of the Victory Hockey League will unofficially come to an end, as all eyes will shift towards the Season 76 VHL Entry Draft. It doesn't seem to matter how many times it's said, it still boggles my mind to think that we've now completed 75 seasons! It says a lot about the faithful dedication and commitment that this community has, and it's truly special. Don't want to delve too deeply into that, however, as a very special article commissioned by a @WentzKneeFan036 is on the horizon and will give this subject a very in-depth look! Stay tuned for that one!

As for Season 75, it was pretty exciting! Parity was at it's best yet again, with playoff seeding being decided on the very last day yet again, and three of the four new expansion teams reaching the playoffs for the first time. The Cinderella run of the Chicago Phoenix captured the hearts of the league, and Condor Adrienne going out on top as a Continental Cup champion was the storybook ending a special season like this deserved. The rise of Stone Wolski was another big story, evidenced by his banner night here at the Season 75 Awards Show. We also saw a lot of growth in our community this season, with first-gen members stepping up and making a real difference in the league. The league rallying with support for Frederik Elmebeck Trophy winner fishy was personally a strong point, a memorable moment that we all can be proud of! It shows how far we've all come, and that's to be celebrated.

Big thank you to the peanut gallery tonight, it felt great knowing some quality folks like @BOOM, @bigAL, @Hex Universe, @Blazzer , @solas, and others were tuned in! It's an amazing how rewarding having an audience can be, thank you so much!!

Wrapping up, best of luck to all the retiring players! We're losing some big names, and gaining some studly prospects. It's going to be a very different VHL next season without the Class of Season 68, but as it has for 75 seasons, the VHL will roll on. Another intriguing season is on it's way, so let's not delay it any longer!

Good night, good hockey, and don't forget to collect your prediction points on the way out!!

John Merrick - Mikko Lahtinen - Andrew Su
    Condor Adrienne - Jeff Downey
    Stone Wolski

Making the leap from the All-Rookie Team to the All-VHL First Team is John Merrick @Steve, who only led the VHL in points with 107 to accomplish that feat. He's joined by Andrew Su @Da_Berr, who scored 106 points and was the offensive leader of the Vancouver Wolves. Mikko Lahtinen @Beketov earns First Team honors for the second straight season, as dropping nearly 100 points and repeating as Scott Boulet and Scotty Campbell Trophy winner will certainly do that for you. Condor Adrienne @OrbitingDeath and Jeff Downey @JeffD, two phenomenal blue liners, earn their last VHL honors by being named to the All-VHL First Team together as they head into retirement. Lastly, Stone Wolski @DollarAndADream adds yet another honor to his big night by making the All-VHL First Team!

The best of the best, everyone! The All-VHL First Team of Season 75!!

    Ziarie Anigbogu - Erik Killinger
    Jacques Lafontaine

Daisuke Kanou Trophy winner Chris Hylands' @Hylands 100 point season also made him a regular season hero, earning Second Team honors. Kevin Brooks Trophy winner Guy Lesieur @KC15 and Ola Vikingstad @Dil round out the forwards of the Second Team. The breakout season of Ziarie Anigbogu @ngine4 has earned him Second Team honors, and deservedly so. Erik Killinger @Peace played a big role in the London United's step forward in Season 75, joining Anigbogu on the blue line. Once again, Calgary Wranglers netminder Jacques Lafontaine @SlapshotDragon earns Second Team honors after yet another strong season!

New York's duo of Rhynex Entertainment @Rhynex Entertainment and Gary Rush @G_Rush headline the forward core of this list, combining for 174 points in their rookie seasons! Leo Strauss @gregreg of the Toronto Legion quietly had a strong rookie year, scoring 25 goals and had just under a point-per-game average with 71 points. Christian Stolzschweiger Trophy winner L is joined by Muffbeav @.sniffuM on the blue line, two very strong and dependable defensemen as rookies. Calvin Harvey @Mrpenguin30 had a remarkable year, compiling a .920 save percentage with the Riga Reign, and rounds out our All-Rookie Team!

On the other hand, the Jake Wylde Trophy is a tremendous badge of honor for the gritty blueliners of the VHL, recognizing the best defensive defenseman in the league. It certainly looks like playing in your own zone was, "in," in Season 75, as we have a whopping six finalists for the award! A pair of New York Americans, Markus Schauer @Plate and Shawn Andrei Zyuzin @TheLastOlympian07, complemented each other very nicely with their different styles of play. Jeff Downey @JeffD makes another appearance tonight, since it turns out he was also pretty stellar in his own zone, along with being an Alexander Valiq Trophy finalist. Fernando Jokinen @Ahma of the HC Davos Dynamo was a shot blocking machine, stopping 200 frozen rubber biscuits with his soft, fleshy body. The ever-physical Jacob Perry @Liberty_Cabbage of the Riga Reign went out in style, showing the young blue liners how to play the body in his final season. Lastly, what defensive awards list is complete without Condor Adrienne @OrbitingDeath , who quite simply did it all for the Malmo Nighthawks.

Next up is the Kevin Brooks Trophy, awarded to the player(s) who led the VHL in goals. However, this season there was only room at the top for one, who separated himself from the pack with two more goals than the competition. Chris Hylands @Hylands was a driving force for the eventual Continental Cup champion Malmo Nighthawks with 44 goals, good for third in the VHL. Toronto's John Merrick @Steve just edged him with 45 goals, falling two short of the league leader, Guy Lesieur @KC15 of the DC Dragons! After Mikko Lahtinen led the league with 61 last season, individual scoring leveled out again, but all of the top ten had over 40 goals regardless. It's Lesieur's third straight season with 40+ goals, breaking his career high of 46 set in Season 73, winning his first Kevin Brooks Trophy in the process.

Congratulations to your Kevin Brooks Trophy winner, Guy Lesieur!

Up first, we have the Alexander Beketov Trophy, annually awarded to the league leader(s) in assists. This season, the top three frontrunners finished just three assists apart. Toronto Legion defenseman Ziarie Anigbogu @ngine4 had a massive breakout season, finishing with 68 assists after scoring 11 points as a rookie. Dagmar Havlova @diamond_ace , in her first season with the Warsaw Predators, admirably attempted to be the first forward since Kronos Bailey in Season 68, but with a nice 69 assists, fell just one short of doing so. But capping off his career in style with a VHL-best 70 assists is none other than Condor Adrienne @OrbitingDeath ! It's his first, and ultimately only Alexander Beketov Trophy win, and yet another accolade for the surefire Hall of Fame defenseman in his final season!

Congratulations to Condor Adrienne, the Alexander Beketov Trophy winner!

Let's start off with our new champions! Looking back, the Malmo Nighthawks had one of the most unlikely runs to the top in VHL history. Moving Lewis Dawson at the trade deadline especially didn't seem like a move a team looking to win a Cup would make, but the results speak for themselves. With the legendary Condor Adrienne in his final season, the likes of Ray Shields, Chris Hylands, Marshall James Frostbeard, Guy Saskamoose, and Grekkark Gyrfalcon rallied together to go on an incredible run, defeating Warsaw and Moscow on their way to take on another expansion franchise seeking their first title in the DC Dragons. However, Malmo had come too far for Condor Adrienne to get anything but the storybook ending he deserved, capping off his legendary career with a Continental Cup win.

Congratulations to the Malmo Nighthawks, the Season 75 Continental Cup Champions!
