  1. I can't wait to be shit on for logos now. Also alot of credit goes to the gm's having an idea they wanted and a template/concept they made themselves that I'd just refined.
  2. Too bad I'm a bust and will definitely be the equivalent of a pylon on the ice
  3. God my statline this season is atrocious ?
  4. Being selected to the S 72 WJC Canada team marks the second time that Su has been selected to the tournament, where all the best prospects play. It's not much of a surprise to see Su selected once again, as after a player has been picked in his first season, it is very rare to have them miss out in their sophomore season. Last season Su was playing third-line center and this year he'll hope to play the first line, though that remains to be seen as SS Hornet the best center in Su's draft class is also on his team. This year Su is hoping to win the tourney, unlike the last year which Canada only made it to the Bronze game. He is also looking to be a leader on the team, whether or not he gets a letter on his jersey. All in all, his main goal still is the trophy at the end of the tourney.
  5. Solid Squad here fellas. Lets get that gold.
  6. 1. 8 you guys are doing alot better than last year and are in a playoff spot but I thought you guys would be by far the best team this year. 3. I'm kinda disappointed with the Lynx's recent performances. 4. Get max capped TPE, hopefully show up more on the stat sheets of my games. 5. I'm already playing for VAN. 6. Turf, Sea food is not great. 7. 6 Rookie in the bigs and not getting much PT, so I didn't expect much but I still wanted to be playing better this season.

  8. When I get better I'll make you a better one fella. Probs when you get drafted to a VHL team.
  9. With just 20 games played for each team so far (except Davos), it still is way too early to start predictions for playoffs. But, I'm going to do it anyway since I need some way to fund my crippling TPE addiction. I believe Vancouver will win the championship this year. HHH performs every year, and this season it's no different. That also applies to the rest of the stars and veterans on VAN. Freeman, Smitty, Gritty and others are all performing well so far into the season, each averaging at least 0.5 points per game. But after their admittedly star-studded front lines, their scoring drops off considerably. As such, this prediction is all going to be reliant on the youngsters in Vancouver. This last draft VAN was able to pick up a crop of promising young talent in Gino, Jungkok, and Su. Paired along with the solid prospect of Proto drafted in S71, VAN has a bright future ahead of them. If all four of them can develop by the playoffs, it will solve one of VANs biggest problems of depth scoring, and make them the cup favourites.
  10. 1. Think we just gotta wait for the young guns to develop. As we go through the season we'll get better. 2. I'm surprised how good my player has been playing. It hasn't been outstanding, but in my situation I feel like I've been killing it. 3. Maybe have some major line switch ups to see if it helps. 4. Trade aging players for picks & prospects. 5. Game 71 against Davos. 6. He's been playing well. Very good potential for the future D core.
  11. Thats what you get for passing on me @GustavMattias ?

  14. It's been a rough adjustment for Su this season in the VHL. Most rookies have slow starts, but considering Su's VHLM scoring prowess and build many expected him to come out of the gates much faster than he has. Despite getting a point the first-ever pro game of his career, he has been held scoreless for the last 5 games. Much of this could be attributed to Su's position on the team. Before the massive signings of both Gritty and Smitty, Su was set to be the second center of the team. After the signing, Su was pushed down the depth charts and is currently playing 3rd and 4th line winger for HHH and Freeman. Furthermore, the young center hasn't contributed much towards the defensive zone. Even with his struggles Su has said he has had a great time so far in the league. Specifically, he stated he's fine with giving up individual stats if the team could flourish, which they currently are. Despite Su's slow start, he still is one of the brightest prospects of the future.
  15. 1.) The season is young - how has your player performed so far? It's been a struggle to get going, but considering the amount of PT I'm getting and the team's success I'm pretty happy. 2.) Why are we the best team in the VHL? We got some legendary HOF players on our roster. 3.) Has our locker room always been as quiet as it's been the past week or two? I don't know what it used to be like, but it's definitely quieter than the M. 4.) Who would you say is Vancouver's biggest rival? Seattle. 5.) Moscow had Malmo, a team they would always beat. Who would you say is that team for Vancouver? I haven't been around long enough to get a feeling for this. 6.) If you could change one thing about the VHL, what would it be? Not sure, overall the experience has been pretty good so far.

  19. It has been a day and a half since the S72 VHL trade, and there were some definite ups and downs. Firstly, SS Hornet was off the draft board first, going to Davos like expected. The next player off the board was Robin Winter to Davos as well, another expected pick. The hype train for the draft was unfortunately derailed as the league waited for Calgary to pick next. Calgary's front office must have slept through their alarms, as it took them an absurd amount of time to finally decide to pick Latrell Mitchell. The rest of the first round went by without a major issue, there were some risers and fallers, but nothing absurd. That is what I would say if SU didn't fall out of the first round. On most draft boards the young Canadian center was projected to be picked around 8 overall but instead went into the second round. As Stephen A. Smith would have said, "you should stay off the weed," to all the GMs who passed on Su in the first. Most people say the drop in draft stock was from a "meme" posted by the young center stating that he would quote, "retire after being selected top 10." Despite this blasphemy of Su falling into the second round the rest of the draft proceeded smoothly and only the future can tell if the concerns about Su entering draft night were correct.
  20. Everyone here is a bust, SMH should've been picked 1st round.
