After witnessing the shitstorm of general chat tonight wanted to say a few thoughts.
1. I understand everyone is passionate about the league, and that's what makes it special. But with that, people gotta understand that they're talking to another human on the other side. It's really easy to go overboard on the web and it's fine to voice opinions, but don't start throwing insults at random people in the community.
2. People have to start trying to think of how the other side feels. A lot of the salt and rage could've been avoided if people had taken a step back to think and thought how and why the other side might be frustrated.
3. Like I said in the chat, VHL is a public community. It's almost impossible to have everyone happy in a large community like the league, but having everyone feel involved would help a lot. People and communities make mistakes, and we shouldn't focus on the mistakes, but rather how we can learn and improve for the future.
