Seattle is clicking so far and I like our results, even though i'm still inconsistent as ever. We sit at the top of the standings in North America and have a game in hand which should be huge going forward. I believe a post-season bye would be nice but I am prepared for anything at this point. I am also scoring at a goal per game pace which means I will be hitting a bump and slowing down sometime soon given my insane shooting percentage. I also am one of the top hitters in the league, despite having virtually low penalty killing time in comparison to the rest of the forwards. (Yes, put me on that PK because I have 2 SH goals). We're ahead of Quebec so that is cool too. In all honesty I am just showcasing my abilities and hope I can make the international roster again. I am only a thirty goal scorer, right? That will be nothing compared to Wolf's 70 that he will score.
 
Also, the Express have yet to eat a regulation loss.
 
But the Bears still beat them in extra time.

Quite frankly I think it's wylde that Seattle would spark a rivalry with the Meute. All they have is a dollar and a dream to get back to the finals with Toronto creeping. We're a hybrid of Gretzkey's Kings and Yzerman's Red Wings and you wanna waste y'all's time on Quebec?

The Seattle Bears look a little bit different. Sucks we lost Kurri to free agency too but I wish him luck in his new home, kind of. We drafted the great Pablo Escabar but I think our most important haul was that of James Faraday. I'll be honest, I wasn't sure where I would be to start the season and neither did some of the other roster players. I'm glad that the team decided to focus on winning and I really think we can challenge Quebec and knock them down. We ft people under the cap decently enough and i've taken a pay cut at this point. I think we will make our first playoff appearance since our rebuild commenced. We should be competitive for at least two to three seasons so that will be a nice change of pace.
 
We will honestly challenge Quebec now and like I said before, i'm not afraid of them. The real question is if i'll put up 30 goals again. I sure hope so.

Seattle is currently welcoming ANY AND ALL COMPETITION in the North American Conference. There has been so much talk of Quebec City repeating. Let's be honest here, there is no way that the Bears are going to let that happen. With 5 forwards and 3 defenders and a goalie who can't hold his own, there is no way it works out for them. The Seattle Bears have literally been talking on the ice during practices of how their team is so much better than the other teams. With one free agent out there left that Seattle is aiming for and that will be the icing on the cake. Toronto literally has no chance at competing with Seattle and Quebec City is literally just had four players who hit depreciation. This will hinder them early and it gives Seattle the upper hand in net. Will the Bears mesh? Yes they will easily. This team will come out strong and surprise a lot of people. The VHL world isn't ready for this Bears to take the NA Conference by storm, but it's happening. The new "Wolfpack" will get slowed down due to their lack of an elite goaltender and the Legion are a thing of the past. This is Seattle Hockey and they are ready to tear some heads off.

Some pretty crazy stuff has been going on and i'll be honest, i'm not exactly happy. Nonetheless. Excited about the new VHLM system where there will be two less teams. Cologne is amazing, hats off to them for bringing in their first Continental* (FINE GUYS, JEEZ) Cup in history. Some teams still haven't had one in decades. Off-season should also be exciting because I keep getting these weird rumors. but i'll tell you one thing, kind of disappointed in the activity of the VHLM finalists. Show some spirit guys, come on. Want to take some time for some one I know and that's Phil. Dude has been absolutely amazing for the Bears franchise and is always active and getting us involved in places. (I really like some of his threads, i'm sure most of you guys would too ). He's been the leader of the Bears this season and he is second to none. Always chiming in for words of encouragement and going to game day threads even when we get thumped. With this possibly being Phil's last season in a Bears uniform since they will be retiring soon, just wanted to wish him luck and that he's a true captain and leader.
 
Also, i'm not afraid of Quebec. Just saying.

Probably the only person on Seattle who gives a damn about the team. Is also 80% of the LR content.

I'm fixing that next offseason

Since my team isn't in the lovely contest known as the playoffs, I get to have the fun of golfing and predicting stuff at the same time. New York wiped out Toronto and Cologne(Fiiien DA) beat that one other team pretty easily, yeah I totally forgot Stockholm's name. Helsinki vs. Cologne and NYA vs. Quebec will be going to game 7 and what am I predicting? Meute vs. Helsinki finals with Quebec winning a cup before they suffer heart break in the off-season from Matthews retirement and plummet to the bottom of the standings because he was the only reason the team did so well.
 
I also might as well spoil my playoff predictions for the VHLM that I wrote in the magazine. Drum roll please! Faux's Blades will defeat the Storm with Campbell outplaying Cola. Well, that's this edition of Checktalk where I ... What do I do again? Oh yeah, completely blabber about nonsense.
