Fun fact: we’ve never actually changed sim engines. Unless of course you mean that leagues prior to the VHL didn’t use STHS which would be true. As far as I’m aware we were the first player sim to use it.

More or less. You basically just have to do a theme PT and post in the birthday thread this week. Once that’s done you can claim both in whichever week you want.

So long as you have posted in here this week (which you have) and you do the Theme week PT this week you can claim either one in either week.

Same as usual. If your job covers your PT then you can simply claim the bonus.

I do like the colour coding so that it’s easier to spot at a glance what stuff affects the same attribute. That wouldn’t work at all on mobile mind you but I think trying to find one that works perfect on both is possibly just making it worse on both.

There’s probably a balancing act to it. Having them both visible was a bit cluttered looking on desktop and absolutely atrocious on mobile but maybe we keep the toggle for mobile and have both visible in a cleaner way on desktop. Would definitely be open to UI ideas.

Hello @Members! You thought the birthday post was all you were getting today didn't you? You thought we forgot again? Well we didn't, at least not this time! It is theme week once again! First off, that means that the Trade Deadline is Monday, July 25th at 3pm EDT. This also means that anyone wishing to re-create for the S86 draft can do so starting at midnight that same day. ** Given that theme week does fall on the same day as our 15th birthday we figured why not have a common theme eh? For that reason the theme week this season is: What does that mean exactly? Well it could be a look back at some previous seasons gone by: records, big series wins, members we have lost, what sort of thing. It could also be looking at how things have changed or improved over the years. Chat with some old farts and come up with some creative ideas, I believe in you all! To earn your Theme Week TPE, write an article, create a graphic, or record a podcast with some connection to “The VHL at 15”. ** In order to claim the theme week bonus of 6 Uncapped TPE, simply submit your Themed PT (Graphic, Media Spot or 6-TPE Podcast), and claim it as normal. After claiming the PT portion, you can use the same link, and claim the uncapped portion as follows: Claim Uncapped > Other > Doubles Week. (Note: you do not need to post your link in this thread to claim either portion of TPE). A special note on this given the timing though: remember that you cannot claim a doubles week on top of another doubles week, or in this case a triples week. That means you cannot claim the VHL Birthday bonus and the theme week bonus in the same week. Make sure to tag your articles with “theme week” so we can collect all the great work in one easy-to-find spot. If you have already submitted a Point Task for this week, or are in the midst of claiming a multi-week Media Spot/Podcast, you may still submit a Theme Week PT this week, and claim the capped portion on the next available week, following your multi-week claim. Also, if you have a single job that pays 6+, you may claim the theme week bonus as long as you complete your duties for the week. If you are in the EFL or SBA and have completed their most recent Media Week, you may use that to claim the Uncapped theme week bonus, but a PT must be completed this week in order to claim the Capped portion, whether that is completed here or through Affiliate Welfare. Hey VHL @Members! In case anyone isn't aware July 18th, 2007 is the day the VHL opened. "Umbrella" by Rihanna was topping the charts, the Anaheim Ducks were celebrating their Stanley Cup win, and the VHL was opening it's doors! That means today marks the league's official 15th birthday. Every year I'm surprised when I type this that it's been so long and this year is no exception as I will be marking the official point where I've been in the VHL longer than I was out of it within this calendar year; fucking crazy. You all didn't click on this to read about how old I am though, I've been around the block long enough to know that. You came in for the TPE and I intend on delivering it! To commemorate the league's 15th birthday, we are giving all members a Triples Week, which adds 12 Uncapped TPE to any 6-TPE Point Task (Welfare/Pension/Affiliate PT are not included but as usual if your pay covers your PT that counts), as well as 3 Uncapped TPE. To claim these perks, which of course add up to 15 Uncapped TPE, all you need to do is post in this thread and then link to that post in your update; that's it! No scavenger hunt, no clues, no catches! What's that? Uncapped TPE isn't enough for you? Well so be it, how about some prizes then! Not only are we giving TPE away but once again we're also giving away some bonus items because what's a birthday without presents? Anyone who comments on this thread, thus getting the bonus mentioned above, will be entered into a draw for some prizes. Some will be league based, some will be real items. I'm not going to tell you what they are yet though, you just need to wait and see don't you? What I will say is in honour of the 15th anniversary there will be 15 winners! So, to summarize quickly, that's 15 uncapped TPE just for commenting and doing a PT as well as some gifts at a later date curtesy of the VHL. All you have to do is post in here and you're good to go!
