Christ cannot save you anymore, embrace Satan and he will forgive you past, Christ-leaning, misgivings. Papa will lead you.

The league has already had Jesus Christ as a goalie, his energy held Satan off for a time but he has been gone for a long time now; there is no stopping what is coming. Join my ghouls now and you will be greatly rewarded.

Papa Emeritus Junior Review From Satanic Pope to Satanic Player If you are reading this and expecting some form of normalcy I would suggest you put your expectations aside now, for Papa Emeritus is far from your normal hockey player. In fact it's quite possible that he is as far from normal as one can be. Papa's career started not in a rink, but rather in a church. Born into the noble Emeritus bloodline of the satanic clergy, Papa's future aspirations were limited. Simply put, you follow the family tradition of becoming a Satanic Pope or you die. Those remain the only two options. Indeed Papa did initially follow the path of the clergy, teaching Satan's ways far and wide and embracing his heritage, but he wanted more. He wanted to follow a path that would allow for greater teachings and greater conversion opportunities. As he began searching for a greater calling he discovered the wonder that is hockey. So violent, so vicious: Satan was clearly pleased with this sport. He requested leave from the clergy in order to study the sport more closely and embrace it as Satan's own. At first the members of the higher order were displeased but in the end they allowed his brother to take over as Pope and Papa was allowed to travel and experience this most wondrous of games. It was ultimately the position of goalie that drew him in most. While not in the fray directly, this position would allow him to control the outcomes more directly, allowing Satan more control over the games themselves through him. It also allowed Papa to retain 5 nameless ghouls, to which he was accustomed. Unfortunately no teams he played for appreciated him referring to the skaters as such but, in time, change is likely to come. As his teammates embrace Satan, so to shall they embrace their ghoul nature and be granted much power from it. As he played amongst the youth and the easily amused, Papa found he craved more power, larger stakes, and more viewers. This would, ultimately, help his cause of converting more foolish mortals to his dear Satan's path. At this point he needed to take on a more professional role and looked overseas, to North America, and the VHLM. Declaring himself for the S78 VHLM Draft, Papa decided on the Saskatoon Wild to become his home team for a short time. Ultimately the Wild would be eliminated easily in the playoffs but Papa proved his worth in his short few games. Any time he was called upon from the bench he allowed no goals and in his few starts he managed well. Certainly not an unbeatable start for the Swede but, alas, time remains on his side. With the draft upcoming soon Papa is likely to find a new home and new mortals to corrupt. It will not take long, he hopes, before all the VHL feels Satan's power and he sits upon his new throne at the head of a sport, rather than a church.

I would say most people likely don't really have a specific render choice but maybe I'm wrong. We could add it as a custom profile field pretty easily but there's no guarantee most people would fill it out.

Welcome to the VHL, Noob pwner9! We're happy to have you. You should have received a PM with some more detailed information, but to get started quickly you will want to head over to the "How to Create a Player" topic. That topic will offer you detailed information about how to use the VHL Portal to create your player and get you started. We also highly recommend joining the VHL Discord where there is a channel dedicated to helping new members with any questions that they may have about the league or improving their player. Once your player is made VHLM General Managers will be in touch with you about joining their teams. In the meantime, please feel free to ask any questions you have here or in your create-a-player thread. We're happy to have you in the community and we hope you stick around!

Of course he does, if only he had sold us usage of the source code when we asked but alas, he refused. I did skim through the manual for references to injuries. Didn’t see anything related to specifically locking off number of games. The durability stat affects how easy you are to injure and you can affect how fast people recover but it’s not direct numbers like “no longer than 5 games” it’s all just kinda sliders so we’d be somewhat guessing our way through. Could probably dial it in with enough testing but is it worth it? Probably not.

I would be stunned if Simon allows that level of customization. Frankly I don’t even know if limiting the max games is possible.
-
I mean I lost in the first round anyway so if he wants to go stare at me clicking buttons for however many sims that was it’s his choice haha
-
I can’t recall anyone suggesting performance based TPE or golf simming but it wouldn’t surprise me if it’s been brought up. I’m not 100% sure how much you can play with the injury lengths since we’ve never really wanted them. Like I said, I wouldn’t even consider it for anything more like like 5 games.
-
We would have to super limit how long they could last so that people wouldn’t be out for more than a sim or two, I’m not sure if that’s possible or not but it would be the only way we could do it. Imagine if you got a season ending injury like 5 games in, how miserable that would be. Not only would you be waiting around 2 months to get sims but that entire season’s worth of stats would be a wash which could potentially kill HoF chances. It’s a miserable option for the sake of a tiny bit of “realism”
-
Totally.

3/5 of these have been legitimately suggested before and one of those was pushed for HARD by a former blue member haha
-
Nah, that’s on @Devise, I did what I needed to do.

But why though? That’s my biggest thing. Just because people like TPE? Inflation is a thing that can get very out of hand very quickly so I don’t really like just handing people TPE for every little thing just because they want it. I see no reason “being active” (which is basically what those are) realistically deserves bonus TPE.

Come on Helsinki, the Bears have bloody won enough lately.

If we wanted it to be something that could be easily attained as n large amounts it wouldn’t be uncapped… The whole point of uncapped is that it’s something that you can’t get an insane pile of because too much TPE breaks things. Frankly I don’t think we should even be giving as much as we do. Also trivia is capped, unless you mean having your question used.
