A Full donation is worth 11 uncapped if I’m not mistaken. Let’s say you buy 10 guys in your team that, pricey for you but only you. Maybe you can easily afford it. You just literally bought your team an extra 110 TPE without your members having to do anything for it. It basically makes it so that a single member with a decent amount of disposable income can greatly improve their team singlehandedly. That sets an incredibly bad precedent because the limits are put in place so that donations can not become pay to win. You pay for yourself, you get a minor bump. It’s true that those same 10 players could all pay the same amount and get the same bonus for the team but the key is that they would all need to do it themselves. 1 member with the income isn’t dictating who gets an increase.

Same with this. No buying donations for other people. I appreciate what you are going for but ultimately it sets a very bad precedent that we can’t allow.

Gonna have to veto this. @sterling can either send the extra money back or you can bank it for a future one. Donation drives are one thing but we aren’t going to accept regular donations being bought for other people. I’m sorry guys but we can’t allow that.

It really shows the crazy depth of this draft that even with 16 teams selecting AND bonus picks in the second round you're still seeing guys above 100 TPE in the third round. Mind you because of the late joiner bonus hitting 100 isn't as difficult as it could be but it does mean that if these guys come back they aren't as potentially far behind so could be some good steals.

Like @Advantage said it’s more about teams not playing an intentionally crippled roster of bots for example to tank. Obviously if we see a 250 TPE goalie in ahead of an 800 TPE goalie we would take a look at it to understand the situation but we aren’t going to punish a team for playing an active over an inactive. If the team, however, played a bit goalie over yourself that would be cause for concern.

How did no one bring this up until now? Also how did I, champion of the forum pages for teams, forget haha. I’ll try and set this up later as well as the expansion teams in the VHL.

Tbh until last season I thought it did, assuming that anything TPE can be added too (outside of experience) depreciated.

Kinda is and kinda isn't. Teams have won needing only 9 games before (Helsinki in S66 for sure and it's happened before that as well if I recall) but I don't think any team has done better than 13 games when needing to play all 3 rounds.
